  • the panel air filter 1 also comprises a seal 100 integrally connected to the filtering medium 10.
  • the seal 100 has the specific purpose of engaging the drawer element 500 and the inner walls of the air filtration assembly 900 to hermetically seal the passage of air in such a way as to convey the air in transit through the filtering medium 10.
  • the seal 100 is suitable to hermetically contact the inner walls of the air filtration assembly 900 forcing the air to pass through the filtering medium 10.
  • the seal 100 is suitable to hermetically engage (preferably in an axial direction similar to the direction along which the air passes) the contact lip comprised in the filtration assembly 900 and described above .

Abstract

La présente invention concerne un filtre à air de type panneau (1) d'un élément d'extracteur (500) d'un ensemble de filtration d'air (900) d'un véhicule. Ledit élément d'extracteur (500) comprend des parois périphériques (550) qui délimitent un boîtier de panneau (500') et un cadre d'extracteur (555) qui s'étend de façon périphérique et comprend des protubérances de cadre (5551) et des cavités de cadre (5552) qui s'étendent, en alternance, à des angles droits. Le filtre à air de panneau (1) comprend un milieu filtrant (10) s'ajustant dans le boîtier de panneau (500'), et un joint d'étanchéité (100) qui est relié de façon intégrée au milieu filtrant (10) ayant une extension périphérique et comprenant une surface inférieure (150) adaptée pour reposer sur le cadre d'extracteur (550). Une telle surface inférieure (150) comprend une pluralité de cavités de joint d'étanchéité (151) et une pluralité de saillies de joint d'étanchéité (152) spécialement formées respectivement pour recevoir les saillies de cadre (5551) et s'ajuster dans les cavités de cadre (5552).
