Le procédé de réalisation de terrassement consiste tout d'abord à placer une extrémité du corps de cadre (210) au fond d'un terrassement ; à démarrer le dispositif d'entraînement (290) ; à entraîner, au moyen du dispositif d'entraînement (290), le dispositif de transmission et les dispositifs de coupe d'excavation (500) en rotation le long de la périphérie du corps de cadre (210) ; puis à déplacer le corps de cadre (210) dans la direction transversale du terrassement jusqu'à ce que la terre au-dessus du fond du terrassement glisse vers le bas sous l'effet de la gravité ; puis à nettoyer et transporter la terre ayant glissé. Le procédé est simple, et présente une faible intensité de travail et une efficacité élevée.
