Description

流体圧シリンダ
 本発明は、ピストンにマグネットが配置された流体圧シリンダに関する。
 従来、例えば、ワーク等の搬送手段(アクチュエータ)として、圧力流体の供給に伴って変位するピストンを備えた流体圧シリンダは公知である。一般に流体圧シリンダは、シリンダチューブと、シリンダチューブ内に軸方向に移動可能に配置されたピストンと、ピストンに連結されたピストンロッドとを有する。
 特開2008-133920号公報には、ピストンの位置を検出するために、ピストンの外周部にリング状のマグネットが装着されるとともに、シリンダチューブの外側に磁気センサが配置された流体圧シリンダが開示されている。この構成の場合、磁気センサはシリンダチューブの周方向の一部にのみ配置されるのに対し、マグネットはリング状(全周)である。このため、マグネットは、ピストンの位置検出に関し、必要以上のボリュームがある。一方、特開2017-3023号公報に開示された流体圧シリンダでは、ピストンの外周部に、周方向の一部にのみマグネット(非リング状マグネット)が保持されている。
 特開2017-3023号公報の流体圧シリンダでは、磁気センサとマグネットの距離(周方向の位置関係)は常に一定である。このため、位置の固定された磁気センサに対して磁力調整(磁気センサとマグネットとの周方向の位置関係の調整)を行うことができない。
 一方、バンド型のセンサ取付具を用いて円形のシリンダチューブの外周部に磁気センサを取り付ける構成がある。この構成の場合、シリンダチューブの外周部の任意の位置に磁気センサを配置することが可能であるため、磁気センサと非リング状マグネットとの距離を調整したうえで磁気センサを取り付けることができる。しかしながら、磁気センサをシリンダチューブの外周部に取り付けた後に、ピストンロッドを回転させた場合、磁気センサと非リング状マグネットとの距離が変わってしまうという問題がある。
 また、シリンダチューブの外側で固定された位置に磁気センサが取り付けられる構成において、ピストンロッドを回転させた場合、磁気センサと非リング状マグネットとの距離が変わってしまうという問題がある。
 本発明は、上述した従来技術が有する課題の少なくとも1つを解決することが可能な流体圧シリンダを提供することを目的とする。
 上記の目的を達成するため、本発明の流体圧シリンダは、内部に円形の摺動孔を有するシリンダチューブと、前記摺動孔に沿って往復移動可能に配置されたピストンユニットと、前記ピストンユニットから軸方向に突出したピストンロッドと、を備え、前記ピストンユニットは、前記ピストンロッドから径方向外方に突出した円形のピストン本体と、前記ピストン本体の外周部に装着され、前記シリンダチューブの内周面に摺動可能に接触するパッキンと、前記ピストン本体の外周部に前記ピストン本体に対して相対回転可能に装着され、マグネット保持部を有する可動部材と、前記マグネット保持部により保持され、前記ピストン本体の周方向に部分的に配置されたマグネットと、を有し、前記ピストンロッドは、前記シリンダチューブに対して相対回転可能であり、前記可動部材は、前記シリンダチューブに対する相対回転が規制されている。
 上記の構成を備えた流体圧シリンダによれば、マグネットが周方向の必要箇所のみに配置されているため、製品コスト及び製品重量の削減が図られる。また、シリンダチューブの外側で固定された位置に磁気センサが取り付けられ且つシリンダチューブの周方向位置が調整可能な構成の場合、シリンダチューブを回転させると、シリンダチューブ内に配置された可動部材に保持されたマグネットも一体的に回転する。このため、シリンダチューブの外側に配置された磁気センサと、マグネットとの距離(磁気センサとマグネットとの周方向の位置関係)を調整することで、磁気センサに対する磁力を容易に調整することができる。従って、1種類のシリンダ構造で、感度の異なる多種の磁気センサを使用することができる。これにより、部品の合理化による製品コストの削減が図られる。
 一方、バンド型のセンサ取付具を用いてシリンダチューブの外周部の任意の位置に磁気センサが取り付けられる構成の場合、磁気センサをシリンダチューブの外周部に取り付けた後にピストンロッドを回転させても、磁気センサとマグネットとの距離は維持される。また、シリンダチューブの外側で固定された位置に磁気センサが取り付けられる構成の場合、ピストンロッドを回転させても、磁気センサとマグネットとの距離は維持される。このため、例えば、流体圧シリンダの設備への据え付けの際に、磁気センサとマグネットとの距離を変えることなくピストンロッドを回転させることができ、便利である。
 前記可動部材は、前記ピストン本体が前記シリンダチューブに接触することを阻止するように構成されたウエアリングであることが好ましい。
 この構成により、可動部材は、マグネットを保持する部材とウエアリングとを兼ねているため、部品点数を削減することができる。従って、部品の合理化による製品コストの一層の削減が図られる。
 前記ピストン本体の外周部には、円環状のマグネット配置溝が設けられ、前記マグネット保持部は、前記マグネット配置溝に挿入されていることが好ましい。
 流体圧シリンダにおいて磁気センサの取付け位置があらかじめ決まらないような場合にはリング状マグネットが採用されることになるが、上記の構造によれば、非リング状マグネットが用いられる場合(本発明)と、リング状マグネットが用いられる場合とで、共通のピストン本体を採用することができる。従って、部品の合理化による製品コストの削減が図られる。
 前記シリンダチューブの内周面には、前記シリンダチューブの軸方向に沿って回り止め用溝が設けられ、前記可動部材には、前記回り止め用溝に係合した回り止め用突起が設けられていることが好ましい。
 これにより、簡単な構成で、可動部材とシリンダチューブとの相対回転を規制することができる。
 前記可動部材は、前記ピストン本体の外周部に沿って周方向に延在する周方向部を有し、前記マグネット保持部は、前記周方向部から軸方向に突出しており、前記回り止め用突起は、前記周方向部の外面及び前記マグネット保持部の外面に亘って設けられていることが好ましい。
 この構成により、可動部材とシリンダチューブとの相対回転を良好に規制するために必要な回り止め用突起の軸方向長さを容易に稼ぐことができる。
 前記パッキンの外周部には、前記回り止め用溝に挿入されるとともに前記回り止め用溝の内面に摺動可能に接触した凸部が設けられていることが好ましい。
 この構成により、回り止め用溝の箇所でのシール性を良好に確保することができる。
 前記マグネット保持部は、前記マグネットが装着されたマグネット装着溝を有し、前記マグネット装着溝は、前記マグネット保持部を軸方向に貫通するとともに、径方向内側に開口していることが好ましい。
  この構成により、組立工程において、マグネットをマグネット保持部に容易に取り付けることができる。
 本発明の流体圧シリンダによれば、製品重量の削減を図るとともに磁気センサとマグネットとの距離を調整することが可能となる。あるいは、本発明の流体圧シリンダによれば、磁気センサとマグネットとの距離に影響を与えることなくピストンロッドを回転させることが可能となる。
 添付した図面と協同する次の好適な実施の形態例の説明から、上記の目的、特徴及び利点がより明らかとなるだろう。

 以下、本発明に係る流体圧シリンダについて複数の好適な実施形態を挙げ、添付の図面を参照しながら説明する。
 図1に示す第1実施形態に係る流体圧シリンダ10は、内部に円形の摺動孔13(シリンダ室)を有する中空筒状のシリンダチューブ12と、シリンダチューブ12の一端部に配置されたロッドカバー14と、シリンダチューブ12の他端部に配置されたヘッドカバー16とを備える。また、図2及び図3に示すように、流体圧シリンダ10は、シリンダチューブ12内に軸方向(X方向)に移動可能に配置されたピストンユニット18と、ピストンユニット18に連結されたピストンロッド20とを備える。この流体圧シリンダ10は、例えばワークの搬送等のためのアクチュエータとして用いられる。
 シリンダチューブ12は、例えば、アルミニウム合金等の金属材料により構成され、軸方向に沿って延在した筒体からなる。第1実施形態では、シリンダチューブ12は、中空円筒形に形成されている。
 シリンダチューブ12の内周面には、シリンダチューブ12の軸方向に沿って延在する回り止め用溝24が設けられている。回り止め用溝24は、径方向外側に向かって幅(周方向幅)が減少するテーパ形状(台形状又は三角形状)に形成されている。回り止め用溝24は、他の多角形状(例えば、四角形状)に形成されていてもよい。第1実施形態において、回り止め用溝24は、シリンダチューブ12の内周面において、周方向の1箇所にのみ設けられている。なお、シリンダチューブ12の内周面には、周方向に間隔を置いて複数(例えば、3つ)の回り止め用溝24が設けられてもよい。
 図1及び図2に示すように、ロッドカバー14は、シリンダチューブ12の一端部(矢印X1方向側の端部)を閉塞するように設けられており、例えば、シリンダチューブ12と同様の金属材料により構成された部材である。ロッドカバー14には、第1ポート15aが設けられている。図2に示すように、ロッドカバー14に設けられた環状突出部14bがシリンダチューブ12の一端部に挿入されている。
 ロッドカバー14とシリンダチューブ12との間には、円形リング状のパッキン23が配置されている。ロッドカバー14の内周部には、円形リング状のブッシュ25及びパッキン27が配置されている。ロッドカバー14の内周部には、円形リング状の第1クッションパッキン68aが配置されている。
 ヘッドカバー16は、例えば、シリンダチューブ12と同様の金属材料により構成された部材であり、シリンダチューブ12の他端部(矢印X2方向側の端部)を閉塞するように設けられている。ヘッドカバー16により、シリンダチューブ12の他端部が気密に閉じられている。ヘッドカバー16には、第2ポート15bが設けられている。
 ヘッドカバー16に設けられた環状突出部16bがシリンダチューブ12の他端部に挿入されている。ヘッドカバー16とシリンダチューブ12との間には、円形リング状のパッキン31が配置されている。ヘッドカバー16の内周部には、円形リング状の第2クッションパッキン68bが配置されている。
 図1に示すように、シリンダチューブ12、ロッドカバー14及びヘッドカバー16は、複数の連結ロッド32及びナット34によって、軸方向に締結されている。複数組の連結ロッド32及びナット34が周方向に間隔を置いて設けられている。このため、シリンダチューブ12は、ヘッドカバー16及びロッドカバー14の間に挟持された状態で固定されている。
 図2に示すように、ピストンユニット18は、シリンダチューブ12内(摺動孔13)に軸方向に摺動可能に収容され、摺動孔13内を第1ポート15a側の第1圧力室13aと第2ポート15b側の第2圧力室13bとに仕切っている。本実施形態において、ピストンユニット18は、ピストンロッド20の基端部20aに連結されている。
 ピストンユニット18は、ピストンロッド20から径方向外方に突出した円形のピストン本体40と、ピストン本体40の外周部に装着された円形リング状のパッキン42と、ピストン本体40の外周部にピストン本体40に対して相対回転可能に装着された可動部材44と、ピストン本体40の周方向に部分的に配置されたマグネット46とを有する。
 ピストン本体40は、軸方向に貫通した貫通孔40aを有する。ピストンロッド20の基端部20a(細径部)が、ピストン本体40の貫通孔40aに挿入されるとともに、加締めによってピストン本体40に固定(連結)されている。なお、ピストン本体40とピストンロッド20との固定構造は、加締めに限らず、捩じ込み構造であってもよい。
 ピストン本体40の外周部には、パッキン装着溝50と、マグネット配置溝52と、ウエアリング装着溝54とが軸方向の異なる位置に設けられている。マグネット配置溝52は、パッキン装着溝50とウエアリング装着溝54との間に設けられている。パッキン装着溝50、マグネット配置溝52及びウエアリング装着溝54は、いずれも、周方向の全周に亘って延在する円形リング状に構成されている。
 マグネット配置溝52の底部52aは、ウエアリング装着溝54の底部54aよりも径方向内側に位置している。従って、マグネット配置溝52の溝深さは、ウエアリング装着溝54の溝深さよりも深い。ピストン本体40の構成材料としては、例えば、炭素鋼、ステンレス鋼、アルミニウム合金等の金属材料や、硬質樹脂等が挙げられる。
 パッキン42は、ゴム材やエラストマー材等の弾性材料からなるリング状のシール部材(例えば、Oリング)である。パッキン42は、パッキン装着溝50に装着されている。
 パッキン42は、シリンダチューブ12の内周面に摺動可能に接触している。具体的に、パッキン42の外周部は、全周に亘って摺動孔13の内周面と気密又は液密に密着している。パッキン42の内周部は、全周に亘ってピストン本体40の外周面と気密又は液密に密着している。パッキン42によりピストンユニット18の外周面と摺動孔13の内周面との間がシールされ、摺動孔13内の第1圧力室13aと第2圧力室13bが気密又は液密に仕切られている。
 図3に示すように、パッキン42の外周部には、回り止め用溝24に挿入されるとともに回り止め用溝24の内面に摺動可能に接触した凸部56が設けられている。凸部56は、回り止め用溝24と同様の多角形状に形成されている。すなわち、凸部56は、径方向外側に向かって幅(周方向幅)が減少するテーパ形状(台形状又は三角形状)に形成されている。凸部56は、回り止め用溝24に、気密又は液密に密着している。
 凸部56が回り止め用溝24に係合していることにより、パッキン42は、シリンダチューブ12に対する相対回転が規制されている。ピストン本体40とピストンロッド20とは相対回転不可能に連結されているため、ピストンロッド20を回転させると、ピストン本体40も一緒に回転する。その際、ピストン本体40は、パッキン42に対して相対回転可能である。
 なお、シリンダチューブ12の内周面に回り止め用溝24が周方向に間隔を置いて複数設けられる場合、パッキン42には、周方向に間隔を置いて複数(回り止め用溝24の個数と同数又はそれより少ない個数)の凸部56が設けられてもよい。
 可動部材44は、ピストン本体40の外周部に沿って周方向に延在する周方向部57と、周方向部57から軸方向に突出したマグネット保持部58とを有する。マグネット保持部58は、周方向に間隔を置いて複数(図示例では、4つ)設けられている。なお、マグネット保持部58は、1つだけ設けられていてもよい。
 マグネット保持部58は、マグネット配置溝52に挿入されている。マグネット保持部58は、マグネット46が装着されたマグネット装着溝58aを有する。マグネット装着溝58aは、マグネット保持部58を軸方向に貫通するとともに、径方向内側に開口している。より具体的には、マグネット保持部58は、周方向部57から軸方向に突出した基部58bと、基部58bの周方向両側から径方向内側に向かって延出した一対の保持アーム58cとを有する。一対の保持アーム58cは、互いに対向して延在するとともに、互いに向き合う方向に突出した一対のツメ部58dを有する。一対の保持アーム58c間にマグネット装着溝58aが形成されている。
 第1実施形態において、可動部材44は、ピストン本体40がシリンダチューブ12に接触することを阻止するように構成されたウエアリング44Aであり、ウエアリング装着溝54に装着されている。ウエアリング44Aは、流体圧シリンダ10の作動中に軸方向に垂直な方向に大きい横荷重がピストンユニット18に作用した際にピストン本体40の外周面が摺動孔13の内周面に接触することを防止する。ウエアリング44Aの外径は、ピストン本体40の外径よりも大きい。
 ウエアリング44Aは、低摩擦材からなる。ウエアリング44Aと摺動孔13の内周面との間の摩擦係数は、パッキン42と摺動孔13の内周面との間の摩擦係数よりも小さい。このような低摩擦材としては、例えば、四フッ化エチレン(PTFE)のような低摩擦性と耐摩耗性とを兼ね備えた合成樹脂材料や、金属材料(例えば、軸受鋼)等が挙げられる。
 周方向部57は、ウエアリング装着溝54に装着されている。周方向部57は、円形リング状に構成されており、周方向の一部にはスリット57a(切れ目)が形成されている。スリット57aは、マグネット保持部58に対して周方向にずれた位置に形成されている。具体的に、スリット57aは、周方向に隣接するマグネット保持部58間に形成されている。組立時には、可動部材44は、径方向に強制的に広げられてウエアリング装着溝54の周囲に配置された後、弾性復元力で再び縮径することにより、ウエアリング装着溝54に装着される。
 可動部材44は、シリンダチューブ12に対する相対回転が規制されている。具体的に、第1実施形態では、シリンダチューブ12の内周面に、シリンダチューブ12の軸方向に沿って回り止め用溝24が設けられ、可動部材44に、回り止め用溝24に係合した回り止め用突起60が設けられている。回り止め用突起60は、回り止め用溝24に対して軸方向に摺動可能である。
 回り止め用突起60は、可動部材44の外周部から径方向外方に突出している。図4Aに示すように、回り止め用突起60は、回り止め用溝24と同様の多角形状に形成されている。すなわち、回り止め用突起60は、径方向外側に向かって幅(周方向幅)が減少するテーパ形状(台形状又は三角形状)に形成されている。シリンダチューブ12の内周面に回り止め用溝24が周方向に間隔を置いて複数設けられる場合、可動部材44には、周方向に間隔を置いて複数(回り止め用溝24の個数と同数又はそれより少ない個数)の回り止め用突起60が設けられてもよい。
 回り止め用突起60は、周方向部57の外面57b及びマグネット保持部58の外面58eに軸方向に延在して設けられている。すなわち、回り止め用突起60は、周方向部57の外面57b及びマグネット保持部58の外面58eの両方に亘って設けられている。
 回り止め用溝24は、上述したテーパ形状に限らず、図4Bに示すように、断面が弧状に構成されてもよい。この場合、可動部材44に設けられる回り止め用突起60は、弧状の回り止め用溝24と同様の弧状に構成される。また、回り止め用溝24が弧状に構成される場合、パッキン42には凸部56(図3)が設けられなくてもよい。この場合でも、パッキン42の外周部は、弧状の回り止め用溝24の形状に倣って弾性変形するため、シール性が維持される。
 図3に示すように、マグネット46は、ピストン本体40の周方向の一部にのみ存在する非リング状(ポイント状)に構成されており、マグネット保持部58(マグネット装着溝58a)に装着されている。第1実施形態では、複数のマグネット保持部58のうち1つのマグネット保持部58のみにマグネット46が装着されている。マグネット46は、例えば、フェライト磁石、希土類磁石等である。
 図2に示すように、シリンダチューブ12の外側には、磁気センサ64が取り付けられている。具体的には、連結ロッド32(図1)にセンサ用ブラケット66が取り付けられている。センサ用ブラケット66には磁気センサ64が保持されている。これにより、磁気センサ64は、センサ用ブラケット66及び連結ロッド32を介して、ヘッドカバー16及びロッドカバー14に対して位置が固定されている。マグネット46が発生する磁気を磁気センサ64によって感知することで、ピストンユニット18の動作位置が検出される。
 ピストンロッド20は、摺動孔13の軸方向に沿って延在する柱状(円柱状)の部材である。ピストンロッド20はロッドカバー14を貫通している。ピストンロッド20の先端部20bは、摺動孔13の外部に露出している。ピストン本体40のロッドカバー14側に隣接する位置で、ピストンロッド20の外周部には、第1クッションリング69aが固定されている。ピストン本体40を挟んで第1クッションリング69aとは反対側には、第2クッションリング69bが、ピストンロッド20と同軸にピストン本体40に固定されている。
 第1クッションパッキン68a、第2クッションパッキン68b、第1クッションリング69a及び第2クッションリング69bにより、ストロークエンドでの衝撃を緩和するエアクッション機構が構成されている。なお、このようなエアクッション機構に代えて、あるいは、当該エアクッション機構に加えて、ゴム材等の弾性材料からなるダンパが、例えば、ロッドカバー14の内壁面14a及びヘッドカバー16の内壁面16aにそれぞれ取り付けられてもよい。
 上記のように構成された流体圧シリンダ10は、以下のように動作する。なお、以下の説明では、圧力流体としてエア(圧縮エア)を用いる場合を説明するが、エア以外の気体を用いてもよい。
 図2において、流体圧シリンダ10は、第1ポート15a又は第2ポート15bを介して導入される圧力流体であるエアの作用によって、ピストンユニット18を摺動孔13内で軸方向に移動させる。これにより、当該ピストンユニット18に連結されたピストンロッド20が進退移動する。
 具体的に、ピストンユニット18をロッドカバー14側へと変位(前進)させるには、第1ポート15aを大気開放状態とし、図示しない圧力流体供給源から第2ポート15bを介して圧力流体を第2圧力室13bへと供給する。そうすると、圧力流体によってピストンユニット18がロッドカバー14側へと押される。これにより、ピストンユニット18がピストンロッド20とともにロッドカバー14側へと変位(前進)する。
 ピストンユニット18がロッドカバー14に当接することで、ピストンユニット18の前進動作が停止する。ピストンユニット18が前進位置へと近づく際、第1クッションリング69aは、第1クッションパッキン68aの内周面に接触して、この接触部分に気密シールが形成され、第1圧力室13aにエアクッションが形成される。これにより、ロッドカバー14側のストロークエンド付近でピストンユニット18の変位が減速するため、ストロークエンド到達時の衝撃が緩和される。
 一方、ピストン本体40をヘッドカバー16側へと変位(後退)させるには、第2ポート15bを大気開放状態とし、図示しない圧力流体供給源から第1ポート15aを介して圧力流体を第1圧力室13aへと供給する。そうすると、圧力流体によってピストン本体40がヘッドカバー16側へと押される。これにより、ピストンユニット18がヘッドカバー16側へと変位する。
 そして、ピストンユニット18がヘッドカバー16に当接することで、ピストンユニット18の後退動作が停止する。ピストンユニット18が後退位置へと近づく際、第2クッションリング69bは、第2クッションパッキン68bの内周面に接触して、この接触部分に気密シールが形成され、第2圧力室13bにエアクッションが形成される。これにより、ヘッドカバー16側のストロークエンド付近でピストンユニット18の変位が減速するため、ストロークエンド到達時の衝撃が緩和される。
 この場合、第1実施形態に係る流体圧シリンダ10は、以下の効果を奏する。
 流体圧シリンダ10によれば、マグネット46が周方向の必要箇所のみに配置されているため、製品コスト及び製品重量の削減が図られる。また、ロッドカバー14及びヘッドカバー16に対してシリンダチューブ12を回転させると、シリンダチューブ12内に配置された可動部材44に保持されたマグネット46も一体的に回転する。このため、シリンダチューブ12の外側に配置された磁気センサ64と、マグネット46との距離(磁気センサ64とマグネット46との周方向の位置関係)を調整することで、磁気センサ64に対する磁力を容易に調整することができる。従って、1種類のシリンダ構造で、感度の異なる多種の磁気センサ64を使用することができる。これにより、部品の合理化による製品コストの削減が図られる。
 可動部材44は、ピストン本体40がシリンダチューブ12に接触することを阻止するように構成されたウエアリング44Aである。この構成により、可動部材44は、マグネット46を保持する部材とウエアリング44Aとを兼ねているため、部品の合理化による製品コストの一層の削減が図られる。
 ピストン本体40の外周部には、円環状のマグネット配置溝52が設けられている。そして、マグネット保持部58は、マグネット配置溝52に挿入されている。流体圧シリンダ10において磁気センサ64の取付け位置があらかじめ決まらないような場合にはリング状マグネットが採用されることになるが、上記の構造によれば、非リング状のマグネット46が用いられる流体圧シリンダ10(本発明)と、リング状マグネットが用いられる流体圧シリンダとで、共通のピストン本体40を採用することができる。従って、部品の合理化による製品コストの削減が図られる。
 シリンダチューブ12の内周面には、シリンダチューブ12の軸方向に沿って回り止め用溝24が設けられている。そして、可動部材44には、回り止め用溝24に係合した回り止め用突起60が設けられている。これにより、簡単な構成で、可動部材44とシリンダチューブ12との相対回転を規制することができる。
 図4Aに示すように、回り止め用溝24及び回り止め用突起60が多角形状に構成される場合、可動部材44とシリンダチューブ12との相対回転を良好に規制することができる。
 図4Bに示すように、回り止め用溝24及び回り止め用突起60が弧状に構成される場合、パッキン42による所望のシール性を容易に確保することができる。また、この場合、パッキン42には凸部56が不要であるため、従来と同様のパッキンを使用することができ、構成を簡易化できるとともに経済的である。
 図3に示すように、可動部材44は、ピストン本体40の外周部に沿って周方向に延在する周方向部57を有し、マグネット保持部58は、周方向部57から軸方向に突出している。そして、回り止め用突起60は、周方向部57の外面57b及びマグネット保持部58の外面58eに亘って設けられている。この構成により、可動部材44とシリンダチューブ12との相対回転を良好に規制するために必要な回り止め用突起60の軸方向長さを容易に稼ぐことができる。
 パッキン42の外周部には、回り止め用溝24に挿入されるとともに回り止め用溝24の内面に摺動可能に接触した凸部56が設けられている。この構成により、回り止め用溝24の箇所でのシール性(第1圧力室13aと第2圧力室13bとの間の気密性又は液密性)を良好に確保することができる。
 マグネット保持部58は、マグネット46が装着されたマグネット装着溝58aを有する。そして、マグネット装着溝58aは、マグネット保持部58を軸方向に貫通するとともに、径方向内側に開口している。この構成により、組立工程において、マグネット46をマグネット保持部58に容易に取り付けることができる。
 上述した流体圧シリンダ10において、シリンダチューブ12の代わりに、図5に示すシリンダチューブ12Aが採用されてもよい。このシリンダチューブ12Aは、概ね四角形状の外形を有する。シリンダチューブ12Aの外周部には、軸方向に延在する複数のセンサ装着溝70が設けられている。具体的には、シリンダチューブ12Aの外周部を構成する4面に2つずつ、合計8本のセンサ装着溝70が設けられている。従ってシリンダチューブ12Aの外側で固定された位置に磁気センサ64が取り付けられる。シリンダチューブ12Aの内周面には、回り止め用溝24が設けられている。
 シリンダチューブ12Aの四角形状の各角部には、ロッド挿通孔72が形成されている。これらのロッド挿通孔72に、連結ロッド32が挿通される。このため、流体圧シリンダ10においてシリンダチューブ12Aが採用された場合、シリンダチューブ12Aの周方向位置は調整不可能である(連結ロッド32の締結を緩めても、シリンダチューブ12Aは回転できない)。
 シリンダチューブ12Aが採用された流体圧シリンダ10において、ピストンロッド20を回転させても、磁気センサ64とマグネット46との距離は維持される。このため、例えば、流体圧シリンダ10の設備への据え付けの際に、磁気センサ64とマグネット46との距離を変えることなくピストンロッド20を回転させることができ、便利である。
 上述した流体圧シリンダ10において、シリンダチューブ12の代わりに、図6に示すシリンダチューブ12Bが採用されてもよい。このシリンダチューブ12Bは、外周部の一部に、軸方向に沿って延在する突起74が設けられている。当該突起74内に、スイッチ装着用スロット74aが設けられている。スイッチ装着用スロット74a内に、板状(薄型)の磁気センサ64aが挿入される。シリンダチューブ12Bの内周面には、回り止め用溝24が設けられている。
 シリンダチューブ12Bが採用された流体圧シリンダ10において、ピストンロッド20を回転させても、磁気センサ64aとマグネット46との距離は維持される。このため、例えば、流体圧シリンダ10の設備への据え付けの際に、磁気センサ64aとマグネット46との距離を変えることなくピストンロッド20を回転させることができ、便利である。
 図7に示す第2実施形態に係る流体圧シリンダ10aは、内部に円形の摺動孔13を有する中空筒状のシリンダチューブ80と、シリンダチューブ80の一端部に配置されたロッドカバー82と、シリンダチューブ80の他端部に配置されたヘッドカバー84と、シリンダチューブ80内に軸方向(X方向)に移動可能に配置されたピストンユニット86と、ピストンユニット86に連結されたピストンロッド88とを備える。
 シリンダチューブ80は、中空円筒形に形成されている。シリンダチューブ80の両端部内周面には、雌ネジ部90a、90bが形成されている。シリンダチューブ80の内周面には、シリンダチューブ80の軸方向に沿って延在する回り止め用溝24が設けられている。シリンダチューブ80とロッドカバー82との間、及びシリンダチューブ80とヘッドカバー84との間には、それぞれ、円形リング状のパッキン92a、92bが配置されている。
 詳細は図示しないが、シリンダチューブ80の外周面には、バンド型のセンサ取付具を用いて磁気センサ64(図1等参照)が任意の位置に取り付けられる。センサ取付具は、磁気センサ64を保持するセンサホルダと、センサホルダをシリンダチューブ80の外周部に固定するバンド部とを備える。シリンダチューブ80の外周部の任意の位置に磁気センサ64を配置することが可能であるため、磁気センサ64とマグネット46との距離(周方向の位置関係)を調整したうえで磁気センサ64を取り付けることができる。
 ロッドカバー82に形成された雄ネジ部94aが、シリンダチューブ80の一端部内周面に形成された雌ネジ部90aと螺合している。ロッドカバー82には、第1ポート96aが形成されている。ロッドカバー82の内周部には、円形リング状のブッシュ98及びパッキン100が配置されている。
 ロッドカバー82の内壁面82aには、弾性材料からなるダンパ102が取り付けられている。ヘッドカバー84に形成された雄ネジ部94bが、シリンダチューブ80の他端部内周面に形成された雌ネジ部90bと螺合している。ヘッドカバー84には、第2ポート96bが形成されている。ヘッドカバー84の内壁面84aには、弾性材料からなるダンパ104が取り付けられている。
 ピストンユニット86は、ピストンロッド88から径方向外方に突出した円形のピストン本体106と、ピストン本体106の外周部に装着されたパッキン42と、ピストン本体106の外周部にピストン本体106に対して相対回転可能に装着された可動部材44と、ピストン本体106の周方向に部分的に配置されたマグネット46とを有する。
 ピストン本体106に形成された貫通孔106aに、ピストンロッド88の基端部88a(細径部)が挿入され、加締めにより固定されている。なお、ピストン本体106とピストンロッド88との固定構造は、加締めに限らず、捩じ込み構造であってもよい。
 第2実施形態に係る流体圧シリンダ10aによれば、磁気センサ64をシリンダチューブ80の外周部に取り付けた後(磁気センサ64とマグネット46との周方向距離を設定した後)にピストンロッド88を回転させても、磁気センサ64とマグネット46との距離は維持される。このため、例えば、流体圧シリンダ10aの設備への据え付けの際に、磁気センサ64とマグネット46との距離を変えることなくピストンロッド88を回転させることができ、便利である。
 なお、第2実施形態のうち、第1実施形態と共通する部分については、第1実施形態と同一又は同様の作用及び効果が得られる。
 本発明は上述した実施形態に限定されるものではなく、本発明の要旨を逸脱しない範囲において、種々の改変が可能である。

Claims (7)

  1.  内部に円形の摺動孔(13)を有するシリンダチューブ(12、12A、12B)と、
     前記摺動孔(13)に沿って往復移動可能に配置されたピストンユニット(18、86)と、
     前記ピストンユニット(18、86)から軸方向に突出したピストンロッド(20、88)と、を備え、
     前記ピストンユニット(18、86)は、
     前記ピストンロッド(20、88)から径方向外方に突出した円形のピストン本体(40、106)と、
     前記ピストン本体(40、106)の外周部に装着され、前記シリンダチューブ(12、12A、12B)の内周面に摺動可能に接触するパッキン(42)と、
     前記ピストン本体(40、106)の外周部に前記ピストン本体(40、106)に対して相対回転可能に装着され、マグネット保持部(58)を有する可動部材(44)と、
     前記マグネット保持部(58)により保持され、前記ピストン本体(40、106)の周方向に部分的に配置されたマグネット(46)と、を有し、
     前記ピストンロッド(20、88)は、前記シリンダチューブ(12、12A、12B)に対して相対回転可能であり、
     前記可動部材(44)は、前記シリンダチューブ(12、12A、12B)に対する相対回転が規制されている、
     ことを特徴とする流体圧シリンダ(10、10a)。
  2.  請求項1記載の流体圧シリンダ(10、10a)において、
     前記可動部材(44)は、前記ピストン本体(40、106)が前記シリンダチューブ(12、12A、12B)に接触することを阻止するように構成されたウエアリング(44A)である、
     ことを特徴とする流体圧シリンダ(10、10a)。
  3.  請求項1記載の流体圧シリンダ(10、10a)において、
     前記ピストン本体(40、106)の外周部には、円環状のマグネット配置溝(52)が設けられ、
     前記マグネット保持部(58)は、前記マグネット配置溝(52)に挿入されている、
     ことを特徴とする流体圧シリンダ(10、10a)。
  4.  請求項1記載の流体圧シリンダ(10、10a)において、
     前記シリンダチューブ(12、12A、12B)の内周面には、前記シリンダチューブ(12、12A、12B)の軸方向に沿って回り止め用溝(24)が設けられ、
     前記可動部材(44)には、前記回り止め用溝(24)に係合した回り止め用突起(60)が設けられている、
     ことを特徴とする流体圧シリンダ(10、10a)。
  5.  請求項4記載の流体圧シリンダ(10、10a)において、
     前記可動部材(44)は、前記ピストン本体(40、106)の外周部に沿って周方向に延在する周方向部(57)を有し、
     前記マグネット保持部(58)は、前記周方向部(57)から軸方向に突出しており、
     前記回り止め用突起(60)は、前記周方向部(57)の外面及び前記マグネット保持部(58)の外面に亘って設けられている、
     ことを特徴とする流体圧シリンダ(10、10a)。
  6.  請求項4記載の流体圧シリンダ(10、10a)において、
     前記パッキン(42)の外周部には、前記回り止め用溝(24)に挿入されるとともに前記回り止め用溝(24)の内面に摺動可能に接触した凸部(56)が設けられている、
     ことを特徴とする流体圧シリンダ(10、10a)。
  7.  請求項5記載の流体圧シリンダ(10、10a)において、
     前記マグネット保持部(58)は、前記マグネット(46)が装着されたマグネット装着溝(58a)を有し、
     前記マグネット装着溝(58a)は、前記マグネット保持部(58)を軸方向に貫通するとともに、径方向内側に開口している、
     ことを特徴とする流体圧シリンダ(10、10a)。
