  • the right side flange 424 and the left side flange 444 incorporate top side cut outs 434and 454 respectively in matching positions to allow operative coupling of the dispenser with the reeled product held between the first side cover and the second side cover.
  • FIG. 4C shows process of assembly of the first side cover 420, the reeled product 400 and the second side cover 440 wherein snap 446/448/450 of the second side cover 440 gets inserted into the snap groove 426/428/430 of the first side cover 420 to hold the two side covers 420/440 together with the reeled product 400 positioned between right side flange 424 and left side flange 444, and resting on cylindrical surface but free to rotate with reference to the cassette formed of the two side covers 420/440.
  • the disclosed dispenser 100 can be attached to the above assembly of the reeled product 400 within the first side cover 420 and the second side cover 440 in top side cutout portions 434/454 of the flanges 424/444 by firstly pulling apart the top portion 200 and the base portion 300 of the dispenser 100 and thereafter longitudinally sliding the dispenser 100 over the reeled product and cassette assembly such that the base portion 300 of the dispenser 100 engages with inner circumference of the first side cover 420 and the second side cover 440. After this the pulled apart portions can be released on which the top portion 200 can rest on outer circumference of the reeled product with the first major flanking portion 330 and the second major flanking portion 260 positioned along opposite sides of the reeled product 400.

  • Free end of the reeled product 400 can be pulled out and applied to the surface, and thereafter, cassette that holds the reeled product 400 can be pulled in direction of application of the tape.
  • the cassette holding the tape can be maneuvered in such a way that the tape touches a cutting edge such as first cutting edge 254 as shown in FIGs. 6A to 6C, or second cutting edge 256 (as the case may be depending on mode of application) of the dispenser 100.
  • the cutting edge can then be used to cut the tape by application of force in required direction, and cut free end of the reeled product 400 can be rested at corresponding point.
  • the present disclosure provides a reeled product dispenser that enables dispensing of the reeled product in two different modes that facilitate cutting of the reeled product from top side or bottom side depending on requirement, thereby improving efficiency of dispensing the reeled product.
  • tape cutting blade can be made as an integral part of wire structure, wherein vertical blade and horizontal blade can be made individually on wire by pressing and cutting.
  • Cross section of wire may be circular such that after pressing and cutting, cross section of wire gets convert into rectangular shape. Teeth or notches can be cut on both edges by using a cutting tool.
  • Both cutting blades can be configured to work independently, wherein the horizontal blade 254 can be used to cut tape which passes under 220, 240, and 250, whereas vertical blade 256 can be used to cut tape that passes under 220 but over 240.
  • the reeled product dispenser system comprises a reeled product dispenser 700, blade holder 750, and plastic cover 780.
  • the blade holder 750 can include two cutting blades and can be fixed on first portion 250 (of FIG. 1C) of the reeled product dispenser 700.
  • Plastic cover 780 can be configured as an assembly of two plastic pieces that are placed in inner side of the reeled product 400 and having a ribs on the inner side of the plastic cover which provides a proper grip to the user.
  • FIG. 8 illustrates exemplary representations of blade holder assembly 750, wherein the blade holder assembly can include a plastic body 752 having an inner cavity on its bottom side for engaging with the first portion 250 of reeled product dispenser 700, and two slots on top side for accommodating the two cutting blades.
  • the blade holder 750 can further include two protection walls 754 on both sides for covering open ends of the cutting blades 756 and 758.
  • a first side cutting blade 756 and a second side cutting blade 758 can be fixed in slots provided on top side of the blade holder at 45 degrees from vertical plane. Both the cutting blades 756 and 758 can be configured with V-notch teeth profile for easy cutting of tape and can be made from a metal sheet. Orientation of cutting blades may not be limited to a certain angle, it can also be fixed in between 0 to 90 degrees.
  • the first side cutting blade 756 can be fixed in the slot in a such a way that it makes a 3 -degree reducing angle from one end to another for reducing the cutting force required to cut the layer of reeled products.
  • plastic cover can be an assembly of a side cover 01 782 and a side cover 02 784, fixed to each other by a hinge pin.
  • Side cover 02 784 can have openings 786 for accommodating bottom portion of reeled product dispenser.
  • opening 786 can be enabled through two parallel slots that are made in the side cover 02 784.
  • Side cover 02 784 can further incorporate a through hole 788 on inner side of the body, which acts as a hinge point / pivot point for closing and opening of the side cover 01 782.
  • Side cover 01 782 can have a pair of hinge pins 790 located on two faces for holding the side cover 01 782 with the side cover 02 784.
  • Side cover 01 782 can be locked relative to the side cover 02 784 by use of snap.
  • Side cover 01 782 can be configured so as to swing along the pivot point for removing the reeled product 400 from outer side of the plastic cover. In locked condition, the reeled product 400 can be secured between side face 792 and side face of side cover 01 (not shown in FIG.) on the plastic cover.
  • FIG. 11 illustrates exemplary representation of safety clip for covering the cutting blade during non-working condition, and its assembly with the blade holder assembly, wherein the blade holder can have two vertically raised side walls which cover the two ends of cutting blade 1102 from side. Vertically raised side walls having a top side resting groove 1104 where the metal safety clip 1112 rests after snapping over surface 1106 which helps to retain the safety clip 1112 in position over the cutting blade and avoid direct contact to the blade cutting edges / notches.
  • the blade holder further includes a resting groove 02 1108 on bottom side and locking snap 02 1110 for holding and locking the safety clip 1112 during working condition.
  • the Safety clip 1112 can have a C shape metal wire structure having two open-end portions bent in inwards to act as hinge pins.
  • a pair of cut outs 1114 for accommodating the two open-end portions can be provided in the blade holder on both sides for holding the safety clip 1112 with the blade holder.
  • the safety clip 1112 can swing along the pivot point / cut out 1114 for covering the cutting blade during non-working condition and resting in the resting grooves 02 1108 during idle condition.
  • FIGs. 12-13 illustrate exemplary representations another embodiment of plastic cover assembly and its working, wherein plastic cover can be an assembly of a side cover 01 1201 and a side cover 02 1202, fixed to each other by a hinge pin.
  • Side cover 02 1202 can have openings 1203 for accommodating bottom portion of reeled product dispenser.
  • opening 1203 can be enabled through two parallel slots that are made in the side cover 02 1202.
  • Side cover 02 1202 can further incorporate a through hole 1206 in to the two slots provided on one side of the cover02, which acts as a hinge point / pivot point for closing and opening of the side cover 01 1201.
  • Side cover 01 1201 can have a pair of two side walls 1212 and having a through pivot hole 02 1208 on both the side walls for holding the side cover 01 1201 with the side cover 02 1202.
  • Side cover 01 1201 can be locked relative to the side cover 02 1202 by use of snap 1205.
  • Side cover 01 1202 can be configured so as to swing along the pivot point 1206 for removing the reeled product 400 from outer side of the plastic cover. In locked condition, the reeled product 400 can be secured between side face 01 of side cover 02 1209 and side face of side cover 01 1210 on the plastic cover.

Abstract

La présente invention concerne un distributeur léger, portatif et amovible pour des produits enroulés tels que du ruban, du papier d'emballage, des feuilles d'aluminium et similaires. Le distributeur comprend une partie de base qui est logée dans la partie de circonférence interne du rouleau et constitue un support d'ancrage pour le distributeur, et une partie supérieure qui s'étend sensiblement sur et au-dessus de la circonférence externe du rouleau afin de permettre à l'extrémité libre du produit enroulé de traverser celle-ci et de reposer sur une zone surélevée sur laquelle des moyens de coupe sont fixés. La partie supérieure et les moyens de coupe permettent à un distributeur d'être utilisé dans deux modes différents, le produit enroulé étant coupé du côté supérieur dans le premier mode et du côté inférieur dans le second mode. Le distributeur selon l'invention permet ainsi une application universelle et améliore l'efficacité de distribution.
