Après avoir placé le vêtement à laver (4) entre le dispositif de génération d'ultrasons (2) et le réservoir de lavage (3), l'extrémité de vibration ultrasonore du dispositif de génération d'ultrasons (2) vient en contact partiel avec le vêtement à laver (4) et des ondes de vibration ultrasonores sont directement transmises au vêtement à laver (4) qui est imbibé d'un liquide de lavage (12) pour le lavage.
