Abstract

Cette invention concerne un polymère obtenu par un procédé de polymérisation en solution comprenant de 0,5 à 20 % en poids de motifs dérivés d'oléfines cycliques, de 0 % à 15 % en poids de motifs dérivés d'α-oléfines en C4-C12, le reste étant des motifs dérivés de l'éthylène ; et ayant un rapport Mw/Mn inférieur à 2,5 ; un poids moléculaire moyen en poids (Mw) de 80 000 à 300 000 g/mole ; et une valeur g' supérieure à 0,95. Le polymère peut être formé dans un procédé de polymérisation en solution comprenant la combinaison dans une solution d'oléfines cycliques, éthylène, hydrogène et éventuellement α-oléfines en C4-C12 d'un catalyseur monosite pour former le polymère, où le catalyseur monosite est de préférence choisi parmi les métallocènes cyclopentadiényle bis-pontés asymétriques du Groupe 4.
