Description
The present invention relates to an oven comprising a water reservoir.
In ovens, cooking is generally performed by the heaters and the fan provided in the cooking chamber operating together. The hot air heated by the heaters provided in the ceiling, base or the rear wall of the cooking chamber, is distributed inside the cooking chamber by means of the fan. In cooker devices with steam cooking function, steam cooking is performed by conveying the steam obtained from the water heated in a steam generator, into a cooking chamber. However, placement of the water reservoir enabling water to be transmitted to the steam generator in the oven, and the reservoir being filled by the user make difficulties.
State of the art European patent application no. EP1909038 discloses a cooker device comprising steam generator.
The aim of the present invention is to realize an oven comprising a water reservoir with facilitated access.
The oven realized to achieve the aim of the present invention and disclosed in the first claim and the dependent claims, comprises a cooking chamber in which the materials to be cooked are placed, a body shaped as a box open on the front side, enclosing the cooking chamber, a panel provided on the body, a steam generator provided on the body, a water reservoir provided on the body, enabling transmitting water to the steam generator by means of a water transmission line, and an opening provided on the panel, enabling access to the water reservoir.
The oven of the invention comprises a water filler system having, a bearer body provided on the body, on which the water reservoir is placed, a seat provided on the bearer body, and a filler chamber movably placed in the seat, enabling transmitting the water filled within to the water reservoir. The filler chamber moves back and forth in the seat, thereby being able to move out of or into the body by passing through the opening. The movement of the filler chamber through the opening is guided by means of the seat, preventing colliding the panel.
In an embodiment of the invention, the water filler system comprises a filler chamber having a filler inlet through which water is introduced, and a bore enabling the water within to be transferred to the water reservoir. The filler inlet positioned on the upper portion of the filler chamber enables easy filling of the filler chamber when the filler chamber is pulled out of the body. The bore is positioned on the base of the filler chamber so as to be above the water reservoir when the filler chamber is out of the body.
In another embodiment of the invention, the water filler system comprises a seat provided on the same axis as the opening so as to enable the filler chamber to be moved towards out of the body by being passed through the opening. The movement of the filler chamber through the opening in both directions without colliding the panel, is guided by means of the seat. The seat with preferably the same shape as the opening, enables the filler chamber to be removed out of the body without requiring being moved in a direction different than its movement direction or being rotated.
In another embodiment of the invention, the oven comprises a trigger mechanism placed on the filler chamber, enabling the filler chamber to be moved towards out of the body upon being triggered. When the user applies pressure on the filler chamber, the trigger mechanism preferably comprising a spring, moves in the pressure direction, being compressed in the same direction. When the user ends the pressure applied on the filler chamber, the trigger mechanism moves towards the panel so as to resume its initial position, pushing the filler chamber towards out of the body.
In another embodiment of the invention, the oven comprises at least one tab provided on the filler chamber, and at least one slot provided on the seat, in which the tab settles. The filler chamber and the seat are joined by means of the connection formed between the tab and the slot. The filler chamber is kept in the proper axis in the seat by enabling the tab to move only along the slot.
In another embodiment of the invention, the oven comprises a tab made of elastic material. When the user pulls the filler chamber towards out of the body, the tab is enabled to exit from the slot enabling the filler chamber to continue its movement towards out of the body, by means of the elastic form of the tab. By this, the filler chamber can be removed out of the seat through user intervention.
In another embodiment of the invention, the oven comprises a magnet provided on the trigger mechanism, preventing the filler chamber and the trigger mechanism from completely leaving the seat. By means of the magnet, the filler chamber is prevented from completely leaving the seat due to the force applied thereon by the trigger mechanism.
In another embodiment of the invention, the oven comprises a cover provided on the filler chamber. The user is enabled to push the filler chamber more conveniently by means of the cover provided at the end of the filler chamber protruding from the body.
In another embodiment of the invention, the oven comprises at least two supports provided on the side walls of the water reservoir, and at least two holders provided on the bearer body, in which the supports settle. The water reservoir and the bearer body are joined by means of the connection formed between the supports and the holders. After the supports are placed in the holders, the water reservoir is placed on the bearer body by being slid thereon.
With the invention, the water reservoir provided in the oven is enabled to be filled easily by means of a filler chamber actuated by a trigger mechanism.
The oven realized to achieve the aims of the present invention is illustrated in the accompanying drawings, wherein:
Figure 1 is a perspective view of the oven.

In another embodiment of the invention, the water filler system (11) comprises a seat (10) provided on the same axis as the opening (8) so as to enable the filler chamber (11) to be moved towards out of the body (3) by being passed through the opening (8). When the filler chamber (11) is pushed into the body (3) by being passed through the opening (8), it moves into the seat (10). When the user continues pushing the filler chamber (11), it completely settles in the seat (10). When the filler chamber (11) is moved towards out of the body (3), the filler chamber (11) at least partially extends towards out of the opening (8), thereby facilitating the user to access the filler chamber (11).

The filler chamber (11) is enabled to slidably move in the seat (10) smoothly by means of the linear movement of the tab (14) in the slot (15).
In another embodiment of the invention, the oven (1) comprises a tab (14) made of elastic material. When the user pulls the filler chamber (11) towards out of the body (3), the tab (14) leaves the slot (15) and is compressed between the seat (10) and the filler chamber (11) thanks to its elastic form. The user can thus remove the filler chamber (11) out of the body (3) for cleaning purposes, thereby providing hygienic use of the water filler system (12).
In another embodiment of the invention, the oven comprises a magnet (16) provided on the trigger mechanism (13), preventing the filler chamber (11) and the trigger mechanism (13) from leaving the seat (10) completely. By means of the magnetic force generated between the magnet (16) and the seat (10), a force is applied on the filler chamber (11) and the trigger mechanism (13) so as to prevent their movement towards out of the body (3). The user has to apply a force stronger than the generated magnetic force when he/she wishes to remove the filler chamber (11) out of the body (3). The filler chamber (11) is thus prevented from removed out of the body (3) except user intervention.
In another embodiment of the invention, the oven (1) comprises a cover (17) provided on the filler chamber (11). The cover (17) preferably having the same shape as the opening (8), enables the opening (8) to be completely covered when the filler chamber (11) is pushed into the seat (10). In addition, a surface enabling the user to push the filler chamber (11) into the body (3), is formed by means of the cover (17).
In another embodiment of the invention, the oven (1) comprises at least two supports (18) provided on the side walls of the water reservoir (7), and at least two holders (19) provided on the bearer body (9), in which the supports (18) settle. The water reservoir (7) and the bearer body (9) are joined by means of the connection formed between the supports (18) and the holders (19).
