背景技术
现有的投影光源中,除了采用灯泡和纯激光作为光源,还有一种较为流行也是广受欢迎的光源技术:采用激发光激发旋转的荧光粉色轮或者激发固定的荧光粉片,以产生时序光或者白光出射。
技术问题
上述技术中,激光激发旋转的色轮或激发固定的荧光粉片的激光激发荧光粉技术相较于现有的LED固态光源或者灯泡提高了亮度,相较于纯激光光源成本更低,图像显示效果更好。随着显示的要求的提高,该激光激发荧光粉技术也遇到了前所未有的问题,一方面,该光源用在微投等便携设备时,体积大的问题将无法克服;另一方面,该光源的光效不够高,如果进一步提高光效,需要增加新的元部件,这样势必增加光源的体积和成本;再者,如果在不增加新的元件的情况下,通过增加电流或电压,这将对固态光源的寿命是一个极大的考验。

本发明的有益效果是:区别于现有技术的情况,本发明提供一种光转换元件、光源系统及显示装置,该光转换元件包括入射区域、发光单元、反射区域、出光区域以及光回收区域,入射区域、发光单元、反射区域以及出光区域围合形成一空间结构,且反射区域围绕发光单元设置。其中,入射区域用于入射激发光,发光单元用于接收入射的激发光以产生受激光,反射区域用于将至少部分受激光反射至出光区域以及将未被发光单元吸收的激发光反射至发光单元,出光区域用于出射至少部分受激光,光回收区域用于反射入射至光回收区域的激发光和/或受激光。因此,本发明能缩小产品的体积、降低成本的同时提高光的利用率以实现高亮度显示。

本发明的最佳实施方式
请参阅图1,图1是本发明实施例提供的一种光源系统的结构示意图。如图1所示,本实施例的光源系统10包括散热件1、光源2、匀光元件3、光转换元件4以及收集元件5。
其中,光源2用于发出激发光。本实施例中,光源2优选为固态光源。光源2为激光器光源和/或LED光源。其中,激光光源可以为单颗激光器的形式,也可以为激光器阵列的形式。同理,LED光源可以为单个LED的形式,也可以为LED阵列的形式。光源2还可以为其他光源,在此不作限制。
散热件1用于对光源2进行散热。具体而言,本实施例的光源2优选为方形结构,包括出光面21、与出光面21相邻的两侧面22和23以及与出光面21相对的侧面24。其中,出光面21的面积小于侧面22和23的面积。本实施例中,优选的,侧面23固定在散热件1上,这样可以增加光源2与散热件1的接触面积,从而有助于光源2的散热。
本实施例中,散热件1优选为导热板。更进一步的,还可以在导热板11的一侧设置散热齿片12。如图2所示。光源2产生的热量通过导热板11传递到散热齿片12上,散热齿片12将热量传递到外界空气中。另外,散热齿片12上还可以设置热导管,部分热量通过热导管传递到外界。
匀光元件3用于对光源2发出的激发光进行匀光。本实施例中,匀光元件3可以是匀光棒、复眼透镜或复眼透镜对。其中,匀光棒的形状可以为锥形或者方形,匀光棒的出口面可以设定为特定形状,复眼透镜的每个透镜单元可以是方形也可以是圆形。
匀光之后的光进入光转换元件4。请一起参阅图3所示,光转换元件4包括入射区域41、发光单元44、反射区域45、出光区域43以及光回收区域42。
入射区域41、发光单元44、反射区域45、出光区域43和光回收区域42围合形成一空间结构,且反射区域45围绕发光单元44设置。
其中,入射区域41用于入射激发光,也就是接收经过匀光元件3匀光之后的光。发光单元44设置在光转换元件4的内部,用于接收入射的激发光以产生受激光。反射区域45用于将至少部分受激光反射至出光区域43以及将未被发光单元44吸收的激发光反射至发光单元44。反射区域45设置在入射区域41和出射区域43之间,并位于光转换元件4的侧壁上。反射区域45可以是银、氧化铝等材料涂覆在光转换元件4上。
出光区域43用于出射至少部分受激光。光回收区域42用于反射入射至所述光回收区域的激发光和/或受激光,以使所述受激光经过所述反射区域的反射后从所述出光区域出射,所述激发光经过所述发光单元转换产生的受激光从所述出光区域出射,即反射入射至光回收区域的激发光和/或受激光以回收激发光和/或受激光。具体而言,光回收区域42反射的光包括以下三种:
第一种:反射受激光。也就是说,经过发光单元44转换后的受激光未全部从出光区域43出射,而是有部分入射到光回收区域42中。此时,光回收区域42将入射的该部分受激光发射,以回收重新利用。
第二种:反射激发光。也就是说,从入射区域41入射的激发光未全部被发光单元44转换为受激光,例如一部分激发光从发光单元44和反射区域45之间传输,该部分的激发光入射到光回收区域42中,此时光回收区域42将该部分的激发光进行反射,以回收重新利用。
第三种:反射激发光和受激光。该种情况是结合了前文所述的第一种情况和第二种情况,即存在未从出光区域43出射的受激光和未被发光单元44转换的激发光入射到光回收区域42中,光回收区域42将该些激发光和受激光一并反射回收。
收集元件5用于接收光转换元件4出射的受激光。收集元件5优选为收集透镜组。
因此,本发明实施例的光源系统通过设置光回收区域42来收集入射的激发光和/或受激光,使得入射的激发光和/或受激光可以反射回发光单元44内部进行再次利用。不需要增加其他元件,从而能缩小产品的体积、降低成本的同时提高光的利用率以实现高亮度显示。
本实施例中,入射区域41上设置二向色元件411,用于选择性地透射激发光,并反射受激光。即二向色元件411起到一个滤光的作用。本实施例中,二向色元件411从颜色和角度两个方面进行滤光。
首先,颜色滤光为二向色元件411设置为只允许特定颜色的光通过,而反射其他颜色的光,例如只允许蓝色光通过,其他颜色的光反射,由此可以对光源2发出的光进行颜色的选择。
其次,角度滤光为二向色元件411设置为只允许特定角度的光通过,而反射其他角度的光。这利用了光源2发出的光的角度和经过发光单元44后形成的受激光的角度不同的特点。例如,光源2为激光光源时,其发出的激光的角度可以近似为零度,而经过发光单元44后形成的受激光为发散状态的,角度较大。因此,本实施例在二向色元件411上设置有角度选择反射层,用于透射小角度的光,并反射大角度的光,这样就可以透射光源2发出的激发光,而反射经过发光单元44转换后的受激光。角度选择反射层可为滤光片或者滤光膜。更具体的,当角度选择反射层为滤光膜,二向色元件411可以为透射激发光反射受激光的膜,也可以是透射激发光反射其他光的膜。由此,光源2发出的光可以通过二向色元件411,而从光回收区域42反射回来再次经过发光单元44的受激光会进一步被二向色元件411反射。从而可以减小光的损失,保证光的利用率。
本实施例中,发光单元44为任意在激发光的激发下产生受激光的陶瓷体。优选的,发光单元44采用纯相的荧光陶瓷或复合陶瓷材料,并且是具有特定形状的固态元件,例如长方体、正方体或球体等。当其为纯相的荧光陶瓷时,具体可以是各种氧化物陶瓷、氮化物陶瓷或氮氧化物陶瓷,通过在陶瓷制备过程中掺入微量的激活剂元素,如镧系元素,形成发光中心。
当发光单元44为复合陶瓷材料时,其以透明或半透明的陶瓷作为基质,在陶瓷基质内分布着发光陶瓷颗粒,如荧光粉颗粒。透明或半透明陶瓷基质可以是各种氧化物陶瓷,如氧化铝陶瓷和Y3Al5O12陶瓷,也可以是氮化物陶瓷,如氮化铝陶瓷,还可以是氮氧化物陶瓷。
此外,陶瓷基质还可以是纯相的荧光陶瓷,即陶瓷基质本身具有激活剂,能够在激发光的照射下发出受激光。
其中,发光单元44的荧光粉可以为绿色荧光粉和红色荧光粉混合,也可以为黄色荧光粉,还可以是分区设置的荧光粉体,其中不同区设置不同颜色的荧光粉。
本实施例中,光转换元件4的形状优选为长方体或正方体,使得入射区域41等的镀膜更简单。
本实施例中,出光区域43的长宽比和投影屏幕的长宽比相匹配。更具体的,出光区域43的长宽比优选为4:3或16:9。这样可以使得出射的受激光的长和宽与投影屏幕的长和宽的比例相匹配,从而使得光的均匀性更好、光效更高。
其中,出光区域43呈方形,出光区域43和光回收区域42位于同一平面且光回收区域42与出光区域43的边缘相连接。
本实施例中,入射区域41和出光区域43可以位于光转换元件4的任意位置。如图3所示,光转换元件4为六面的方体,入射区域41和出光区域43设置在光转换元件4的两个对侧面上。并且光回收区域42与出光区域43位于同一个侧面上,出光区域43设置在该侧面的中心位置,光回收区域42设置在出光区域43的周围。发光单元44设置在光转换元件4的内部。反射区域45优选设置在光回收区域42与出光区域43之间,并围绕发光单元44设置。
在其他实施例中,入射区域41和出光区域43还可设置在相邻的两个侧面上,如图4所示。从而可以提高光在发光单元44的反射的次数,使得出射的光更均匀,并且有效光更多,提高亮度。
在其他实施例中,入射区域41和出光区域43还可设置同一个侧面上。当入射区域41和出光区域43设置在同一侧面上,并且有重叠区域时,重叠区域透射可见光。
由前文所述,光回收区域42和出光区域43是位于同一平面设置。更具体的,在同一个平面中,光回收区域42是设置在出光区域43以外的位置的反射层,反射层采用银、氧化铝等材料。
承前所述,本发明通过光回收区域42将未出射的受激光回收以再次利用,提高了光的利用率,从而提高了光源系统10的亮度。
请参阅图5,图5是本发明实施例提供的另一种光转换元件的结构示意图。如图5所示,本实施例的光转换元件50依然包括入射区域51、出光区域53、发光单元54以及光回收单元52。其中,本实施例的光转换元件50与前文所述的光转换元件4的不同之处在于:本实施例的光转换元件50的出光区域53为球冠状面或抛物面,光回收区域52设置在球冠状面或抛物面的未设置出光区域53的位置。由于出光区域53沿着出光区域53的周向设置,因此光回收区域52反射的光会向球冠状面的球心或抛物面的焦点位置聚集,即会集中反射回到发光单元54中,因此本实施例可以省去如图3和图4所示反射区域45。
进一步的,本实施例的光转换元件50还包括出光透镜56。其设置在出光区域53的一侧,用于对从出光区域53出射的受激光进行聚光。使得从出光区域53出射的较为发散的受激光形成聚集的平行光,从而提高光的利用率。
请参阅图6,图6是本发明实施例提供的又一种光转换元件的结构示意图。如图6所示,本实施例的光转换元件60依然包括入射区域61、出射区域63、发光单元64、光回收单元62以及反射区域65。其中,本实施例的光转换元件60与前文所述的光转换元件4的不同之处在于:本实施例的光转换元件60的出光区域63和光回收区域62设置在两个不同的面上。
并且光回收区域62为球冠状面或抛物面。入射区域61、发光单元64、出光区域63以及反射区域65位于球冠状面的球心位置或抛物面的焦点位置。
光回收区域62上设置有透光区域66,透光区域66设置在球冠状面或抛物面的中心位置,光回收区域62设置在球冠状面或抛物面的未设置透光区域66的位置。透光区域66可以为通孔或采用透光材料制成。
出光区域63位于球冠面或抛物面的凹面的一侧,出光区域63大角度的光被光回出光区域62反射,小角度的光从透光区域66出射。具体的光路图如图7所示。
本发明实施例还提供了一种显示装置,显示装置包括前文所的光源系统。其中,显示装置为微投、激光电视以及教育机等。
综上所述,本发明能够利用较低的成本达到高亮度的显示。

Claims (11)

1. 一种光转换元件,其特征在于,所述光转换元件包括入射区域、发光单元、反射区域、出光区域和光回收区域,所述入射区域、所述发光单元、所述反射区域以及所述出光区域围合形成一空间结构,且所述反射区域围绕所述发光单元设置;其中:
所述入射区域用于入射激发光;
所述发光单元用于接收入射的激发光以产生受激光;
所述反射区域用于将至少部分所述受激光反射至所述出光区域以及将未被所述发光单元吸收的激发光反射至所述发光单元;
所述出光区域用于出射至少部分所述受激光;
所述光回收区域用于反射入射至所述光回收区域的激发光和/或受激光。
2. 根据权利要求1所述的光转换元件,其特征在于,所述入射区域上设置二向色元件,用于选择性地透射所述激发光,并反射所述受激光。
3. 根据权利要求1所述的光转换元件,其特征在于,所述出光区域的长宽比与投影屏幕的长宽比相匹配。
4.根据权利要求3所述的光转换元件,其特征在于,所述出光区域的长宽比为4:3或16:9。
5. 根据权利要求3所述的光转换元件,其特征在于,所述出光区域呈方形,所述出光区域和所述光回收区域位于同一平面且所述光回收区域与所述出光区域的边缘相连接。
6. 根据权利要求3所述的光转换元件,其特征在于,所述出光区域为球冠状面或抛物面,所述光回收区域沿着所述出光区域的周向设置;
其中,所述光转换元件还包括:
出光透镜,设置在所述出光区域的一侧,用于对从所述出光区域出射的受激光进行聚光。
7. 根据权利要求3所述的光转换元件,其特征在于,所述光回收区域为球冠状面或抛物面,所述光转换元件的入射区域、发光单元、反射区域及所述出光区域位于所述球冠状面的球心位置或所述抛物面的焦点位置;
所述光回收区域上设置有透光区域。
8. 根据权利要求1所述的光转换元件,其特征在于,所述发光单元采用纯相的荧光陶瓷或复合陶瓷材料。
9.一种光源系统,其特征在于,所述光源系统包括:
光源,用于发出激发光;
匀光元件,用于对所述激发光进行匀光;
光转换元件,用于接收匀光后的激发光并产生受激光,所述光转换元件为权利要求1-8任一项所述的光转换元件;
收集元件,用于接收所述光转换元件出射的受激光。
10. 根据权利要求9所述的光源系统,其特征在于,所述光源系统还包括:
散热件,用于对所述光源进行散热。
11. 一种显示装置,其特征在于,所述显示装置包括如权利要求9-10所述的光源系统。
