L'invention concerne un groupe de pompage pour l'alimentation en carburant, de préférence en diesel, d'un moteur à combustion interne, ledit groupe comprenant au moins un cylindre (14), un piston (15) monté coulissant dans le cylindre (14) et un clapet de refoulement (30) permettant la commande sélective de l'alimentation en carburant du moteur à combustion interne, le clapet de refoulement (30) comportant une pièce d'obturation (38) qui est montée coulissante dans une partie évasée (13b) d'une conduite de refoulement (12, 13b) qui comporte par ailleurs une partie rétrécie (12) munie d'une denture (43, 46) réalisée sur sa paroi interne (44).
