本申请属于显示技术领域,具体地讲,涉及一种液晶显示器。
背景技术
随着光电与半导体技术的演进,也带动了平板显示器(Flat Panel Display)的蓬勃发展,而在诸多平板显示器中,液晶显示器(Liquid Crystal Display,LCD)因具有高空间利用效率、低消耗功率、无辐射以及低电磁干扰等诸多优越特性,已被应用于生产生活的各个方面。
在液晶显示器中,通常包括液晶面板、背光模块以及驱动液晶面板和背光模块的驱动模块,其中液晶面板包括对盒设置的彩色滤光片基板(即CF基板)和阵列基板(即Array基板)以及夹设于二者之间的液晶。在范例性的大尺寸液晶面板中,较多采用负型VA(Vertically Aligned)液晶,然而负型VA液晶存在较多的缺陷,尤其是需要呈现较大的视角时,采用负型VA型液晶的液晶面板在被大视角观看时会出现色偏现象。
为了解决上述缺陷,在采用负型VA型液晶的液晶面板中往往将各子像素再分为Main/Sub次像素,并向Main/Sub次像素提供不同的像素电压。但是,这样的像素设计往往需要再增加金属走线和薄膜晶体管(TFT)来驱动Main/Sub次像素,从而造成开口率的牺牲,使液晶面板的透光率下降,为了维持原有的透光率,就需要提升背光模块出射的光线亮度,从而直接提升背光模块的成本。
公开内容
为了解决上述问题,本申请提供了一种解决低色偏的同时又不影响开口率 的液晶显示器及其驱动方法。

继续参照图1,在相邻两帧的前一帧中,驱动模块20向液晶像素Pab提供高像素电压(或低像素电压),以使液晶像素Pab的液晶分子偏转,而驱动模块20向液晶像素P(a-1)b、液晶像素Pa(b-1)、液晶像素Pa(b+1)以及液晶像素P(a+1)b均提供了低像素电压(或高像素电压)。
在相邻两帧的后一帧中,驱动模块20向液晶像素Pab提供低像素电压(或高像素电压),以使液晶像素Pab的液晶分子偏转,而驱动模块20向液晶像素P(a-1)b、液晶像素Pa(b-1)、液晶像素Pa(b+1)以及液晶像素P(a+1)b均提供了高像素电压(或低像素电压)。
也就是说,每个液晶像素的像素电压的高低都与其上下左右相邻的液晶像素的像素电压的高低不同。并且每个液晶像素在相邻的前后两帧中被提供的像素电压的高低不同。需要说明的是,所述高像素电压和所述低像素电压的极性相同,这样液晶面板10在相邻的前后两帧中能够显示同一画面。
此外,所述高像素电压和所述低像素电压为事先已经根据输入的RGB信号且按照需要补偿的视角效果所决定,一般是以查找表(LUT)的方式记录在驱动模块10中。例如,以8bit的驱动信号为例,输入的RGB信号中的每一对应256对高低像素电压,这样共有3*256个高像素电压和3*256个低像素电压。
综上,通过在相邻两帧中分别向每个液晶像素提供高低不同的同极性像素电压,且在相邻两帧的每一帧中,每个液晶像素的像素电压的高低都与其上下左右相邻的液晶像素的像素电压的高低不同,从而使液晶面板10在相邻两帧中显示同一画面的同时,实现低色偏视角补偿效果,即在大视角方向观看液晶面 板10时,不会出现色偏现象。
为了克服相邻两帧中液晶面板10的各液晶像素显示的亮度不平均而造成的闪烁不适现象,进一步地,对背光模块30进行亮度区域的划分,通过动态调节各亮度区域的亮度,来使液晶面板10的各液晶像素显示亮度均匀,从而消除闪烁现象,具体请参照图2所示的液晶显示器。图2是根据本申请的另一实施例的液晶显示器的结构示意图。以下仅对图2所示的实施例与图1所示的实施例的不同之处进行说明。
参照图2,与图1所示的实施例不同的是,将液晶面板10划分为M×N个矩形面板分区1011、1012、……、10MN,且将背光模块30划分为M×N个矩形背光分区3011、3012、……、30MN,其中矩形面板分区10ij与矩形背光分区30ij相对对应,1≤i≤M,1≤j≤N,且i和j均为整数。这里,需要说明的是,矩形面板分区10ij中包括的液晶像素的数量相同,但作为其他实施方式,也可以不同。
这样,矩形面板分区10ij中所有液晶像素的像素电压之和与矩形背光分区30ij的亮度满足下面的式子1。
[式子1]  Lij_1*Vij_1=Lij_2*Vij_2
其中,Lij_1表示相邻两帧的前一帧中矩形面板分区10ij的亮度,Vij_1表示相邻两帧的前一帧中矩形面板分区10ij中所有液晶像素的像素电压之和;Lij_2表示相邻两帧的后一帧中矩形背光分区30ij的亮度,Vij_2表示相邻两帧的后一帧中矩形背光分区30ij中所有液晶像素的像素电压之和。
这里,由于液晶像素的像素电压与液晶像素的光线穿透率成正比,液晶像素的光线穿透率与背光亮度的乘积即为液晶像素的显示亮度,也就是说液晶像素的像素电压与背光亮度的乘积能够表示液晶像素的显示亮度。当相邻的前后两帧中矩形背光分区30ij的亮度与矩形面板分区10ij中所有液晶像素的像素电压 之和的乘积相等时,矩形面板分区10ij在相邻前后两帧中的显示亮度就相同,从而能够消除闪烁现象。
在液晶面板10和背光模块30均被划分区域后,关于背光模块30向液晶面板10提供显示光线的方式可以包括以下两种方式,当然,以下描述的两种方式仅为示例,本申请还可以包括其他合适的方式。
背光模块30向液晶面板10提供显示光线的第一种方式为:在相邻两帧的每一帧中,在所有的矩形面板分区1011、1012、……、10MN中的所有液晶像素的液晶分子偏转之后,驱动模块20驱动所有的矩形背光分区3011、3012、……、30MN同时出射光线。当然,应当理解的是,各个矩形背光分区的亮度可以不同,也可以相同,其各自由驱动模块20负责调控。
背光模块30向液晶面板10提供显示光线的第二种方式为:在相邻两帧的每一帧中,在矩形面板分区10ij中的所有液晶像素的液晶分子偏转之后,驱动模块20驱动矩形背光分区30ij出射光线,直至驱动所有的矩形背光分区3011、3012、……、30MN出射光线。也就是说,驱动模块20分时驱动各个矩形背光分区。当然,也应当理解的是,各个矩形背光分区的亮度可以不同,也可以相同,其各自由驱动模块20负责调控。
为了使液晶面板10显示的画面的亮度与未做低色偏视角补偿效果的液晶面板显示的画面的亮度相同,进一步地,使液晶面板10的各矩形面板分区在相邻两帧中显示的同一画面的亮度之和为未做低色偏视角补偿效果的液晶面板在一帧中显示所述画面的亮度的两倍。具体技术方案如下。
矩形面板分区10ij中所有液晶像素的像素电压之和与矩形背光分区30ij的亮度满足下面的式子2。
[式子2]  Lij_1*Vij_1+Lij_2*Vij_2=2*Lij*Vij
其中,Lij表示当未做低色偏视角补偿的液晶面板被设置为仅在一帧中显示所述画面时相应矩形背光分区的亮度,Vij表示当未做低色偏视角补偿的液晶面板被设置为仅在一帧中显示所述画面时相应矩形面板分区中所有液晶像素的像素电压之和。需要说明的是,未做低色偏视角补偿的液晶面板在不同帧中显示的画面不相同。
以下对液晶显示器的驱动方法进行说明。图3是图1所示的液晶显示器的驱动方法的流程图。
参照图1和图3,根据本申请的实施例的液晶显示器的驱动方法包括:
S310:在相邻两帧的前一帧中,驱动模块20向液晶面板10的每个液晶像素提供像素电压,以使每个液晶像素的所有液晶分子偏转;
S320:在相邻两帧的后一帧中,驱动模块20向液晶面板10的每个液晶像素提供像素电压,以使每个液晶像素的所有液晶分子偏转;
其中,在前一帧和后一帧中,每个液晶像素的像素电压的高低都与其上下左右相邻的液晶像素的像素电压的高低不同,且同一个液晶像素的像素电压极性相同且高低不同。
图4是图2所示的液晶显示器的驱动方法的流程图。
参照图2和图4,根据本申请的实施例的液晶显示器的驱动方法包括:
S410:在相邻两帧的前一帧中,驱动模块20向液晶面板10的每个液晶像素提供像素电压,以使每个液晶像素的所有液晶分子偏转;
S420:在相邻两帧的前一帧中,在液晶面板10的矩形面板分区1011、1012、……、10MN中的液晶像素的液晶分子偏转之后,驱动模块20驱动所有的矩形背光分区3011、3012、……、30MN同时出射光线;
S430:在相邻两帧的后一帧中,驱动模块20向液晶面板10的每个液晶像 素提供像素电压,以使每个液晶像素的所有液晶分子偏转;
S440:在相邻两帧的后一帧中,在液晶面板10的所有矩形面板分区1011、1012、……、10MN中的液晶像素的液晶分子偏转之后,驱动模块20驱动所有的矩形背光分区3011、3012、……、30MN同时出射光线;
其中,在前一帧和后一帧中,每个液晶像素的像素电压的高低都与其上下左右相邻的液晶像素的像素电压的高低不同,且同一个液晶像素的像素电压极性相同且高低不同。
图5是图2所示的液晶显示器的另一种驱动方法的流程图。
参照图2和图4,根据本申请的实施例的液晶显示器的驱动方法包括:
S510:在相邻两帧的前一帧中,驱动模块20向液晶面板10的每个液晶像素提供像素电压,以使每个液晶像素的所有液晶分子偏转;
S520:在相邻两帧的前一帧中,在液晶面板10的矩形面板分区10ij中的所有液晶像素的液晶分子偏转之后,驱动模块20驱动矩形背光分区30ij出射光线,直至驱动所有的矩形背光分区3011、3012、……、30MN出射光线;
S530:在相邻两帧的后一帧中,驱动模块20向液晶面板10的每个液晶像素提供像素电压,以使每个液晶像素的所有液晶分子偏转;
S540:在相邻两帧的后一帧中,在液晶面板10的矩形面板分区10ij中的所有液晶像素的液晶分子偏转之后,驱动模块20驱动矩形背光分区30ij出射光线,,直至驱动所有的矩形背光分区3011、3012、……、30MN出射光线;
其中,在前一帧和后一帧中,每个液晶像素的像素电压的高低都与其上下左右相邻的液晶像素的像素电压的高低不同,且同一个液晶像素的像素电压极性相同且高低不同。
此外,进一步地,在图4和图5所示的驱动方法中,矩形面板分区10ij中所 有液晶像素的像素电压之和与矩形背光分区30ij的亮度满足上面的式子1和/或式子2。
综上所述,通过在相邻两帧中分别向每个液晶像素提供高低不同的同极性像素电压,且在相邻两帧的每一帧中,每个液晶像素的像素电压的高低都与其上下左右相邻的液晶像素的像素电压的高低不同,从而使液晶面板在相邻两帧中显示同一画面的同时,实现低色偏视角补偿效果,即在大视角方向观看液晶面板时,不会出现色偏现象,而且液晶像素可未再做Main/Sub次像素,就不需要再增加金属走线和薄膜晶体管来驱动Main/Sub次像素,从而不会减小开口率。进一步地,在相邻的前后两帧中,使各矩形背光分区的亮度与对应的矩形面板分区中所有液晶像素的像素电压之和的乘积相等,从而使各矩形面板分区在相邻两帧中的显示亮度相同,从而能够消除闪烁现象。更进一步地,使液晶面板的各矩形面板分区在相邻两帧中显示的同一画面的亮度之和为未做低色偏视角补偿效果的液晶面板在一帧中显示所述画面的亮度的两倍,从而使液晶面板显示的画面的亮度与未做低色偏视角补偿效果的液晶面板显示的画面的亮度相同。
在另一方面,为了进一步促进液晶面板10的轻薄化组装,结合图6、图7和图8所示,所述液晶面板10包括显示区51和非显示区52;在液晶面板10的非显示区52还压覆有软性电路板53。所述驱动电路板40设置于所述非显示区52、并与所述软性电路板53连接;所述驱动电路板40包括设置驱动模块20的第一面41以及与所述第一面41相背的第二面42,所述第二面42上设置有用于记录所述驱动电路板履历信息的标签43。可选地,所有的电子元件均设置在驱动电路板40的第一面41,而第二面42仅设置标签。
所述软性电路板53为将芯片(IC)固定于柔性线路板上的晶粒软膜。软性电 路板53的一端与所述驱动电路板40电性连接,用于接收驱动电路板40传输过来的数据信号。软性电路板53的另一端与所述液晶面板10电性连接,用于将芯片(IC)输出的数据信号传输到液晶面板10,驱动液晶面板10进行显示。所述液晶面板10包括但不仅限于液晶显示面板(Liquid Crystal Display,LCD)、有机发光二极管显示面板(OrganicLight-Emitting Diode,OLED)、场发射显示面板(Field emission display,FED)、等离子显示面板PDP(Plasma DisplayPanel)、曲面型面板。
所述标签43设置于驱动电路板40的第二面320。由于驱动电路板40的第二面320未设置电子元件,在设计生产驱动电路板40的过程中,可以减少为固定所述标签302所预留的静空区,从而缩小所述驱动电路板40的尺寸大小,使所述显示装置整体更加紧凑,同时也降低了生产成本。
所述驱动电路板40履历信息包括所述驱动电路板40产品名称、数量、材质、规格、型号以及生产的要求和期限等信息,生产厂商或者使用者可通过读取所述生产履历信息追溯所述驱动电路板40的具体信息。
作为一个可选,所述标签43上设有记录所述生产履历信息的条形码。
作为一个可选,所述标签43上设有记录生产履历信息的二维码。二维码符号表示技术包括多种码制,常见的码制有PDF417、QR Code、Code 49、Code16K、Code One等。作为一个可选,本实施例二维码采用的码制为QR Code。
通过将所述生产履历信息以条形码或者二维码的形式记录于所述标签43上,使生产履历信息以条形码或者二维码形式的呈现。可缩小所述标签43的大小,同时还可极大地提高同等面积标签43所记录的生产履历信息。
作为一个可选,所述标签43包括面材层以及胶粘层,所述面材层用于记录所述生产履历信息,所述面材层通过所述胶粘层粘附于所述驱动电路板40。
进一步地,所述面材层上设有防静电涂层。所述防静电涂层可以是具有强导电性的水性高分子聚合物制成的涂层,具体地可以是聚氧乙烯类高分子聚合物。所述防静电涂层可以有效地将累积在面材型外表面的静电导出,减少静电对所述驱动电路板40的影响。
作为一个可选,所述驱动电路板40上的任意两个电子元件间的距离长度小于所述标签43的宽度。具体地,所述驱动电路板40的第一面41上设置的任意两个电子元件间的距离长度小于所述标签43的宽度。所述标签43的形状可以为正方形、长方形或者圆角方形等。
虽然已经参照特定实施例示出并描述了本申请,但是本领域的技术人员将理解:在不脱离由权利要求及其等同物限定的本申请的精神和范围的情况下,可在此进行形式和细节上的各种变化。

Claims (20)

  1. 一种液晶显示器,其中,包括:
    液晶面板,包括多个液晶像素且被设置为在相邻两帧中显示同一画面;所述液晶面板还包括压覆于非显示区的软性电路板;
    驱动电路板,其设置于所述非显示区、并与所述软性电路板连接,所述驱动电路板包括设置驱动模块的第一面以及与所述第一面相背的第二面,所述第二面上设置有用于记录所述驱动电路板履历信息的标签;其中,所述驱动模块用于在相邻两帧中分别向每个液晶像素提供高低不同的同极性像素电压,以使每个液晶像素的液晶分子偏转;
    其中,在相邻两帧的每一帧中,每个液晶像素的像素电压的高低都与其上下左右相邻的液晶像素的像素电压的高低不同。
  2. 根据权利要求1所述的液晶显示器,其中,所述液晶显示器还包括背光模块,所述液晶面板被划分为M×N个矩形面板分区,所述背光模块被划分为M×N个矩形背光分区,1≤i≤M,1≤j≤N,第i行第j列的矩形面板分区与第i行第j列的矩形背光分区相对对应;
    在相邻两帧的每一帧中,在每个矩形面板分区中的每个液晶像素的液晶分子偏转之后,所述驱动模块还用于驱动所有的矩形背光分区同时出射光线。
  3. 根据权利要求2所述的液晶显示器,其中,所述液晶面板被划分为M×N个矩形面板分区,所述背光模块被划分为M×N个矩形背光分区,1≤i≤M,1≤j≤N,第i行第j列的矩形面板分区与第i行第j列的矩形背光分区相对对应;
    在相邻两帧的每一帧中,在第i行第j列的矩形面板分区中的每个液晶像素的液晶分子偏转之后,所述驱动模块还用于驱动第i行第j列的矩形背光分区出射光线,直至驱动所有的矩形背光分区出射光线。
  4. 根据权利要求2所述的液晶显示器,其中,第i行第j列的矩形面板分区中所有液晶像素的像素电压之和与第i行第j列的矩形背光分区的亮度满足下面的式子1,

    其中,Lij_1表示相邻两帧的前一帧中第i行第j列的矩形背光分区的亮度,Vij_1表示相邻两帧的前一帧中第i行第j列的矩形面板分区中所有液晶像素的像素电压之和;Lij_2表示相邻两帧的后一帧中第i行第j列的矩形背光分区的亮度, Vij_2表示相邻两帧的后一帧中第i行第j列的矩形面板分区中所有液晶像素的像素电压之和。
  5. 根据权利要求3所述的液晶显示器,其中,第i行第j列的矩形面板分区中所有液晶像素的像素电压之和与第i行第j列的矩形背光分区的亮度满足下面的式子1,

  9. 根据权利要求9所述的液晶显示器,其中,第i行第j列的矩形面板分区中所有液晶像素的像素电压之和与第i行第j列的矩形背光分区的亮度满足下面的式子2,

  10. 根据权利要求1所述的液晶显示器,其中,所述软性电路板为将芯片固定于柔性线路板上的晶粒软膜。
  11. 根据权利要求1所述的液晶显示器,其中,液晶像素的像素电压与液晶像素的光线穿透率成正比,液晶像素的光线穿透率与背光亮度的乘积为液晶像素的显示亮度。
  12. 根据权利要求1所述的液晶显示器,其中,所述液晶面板的各矩形面板分区在相邻两帧中显示的同一画面的亮度之和为未做低色偏视角补偿效果的液晶面板在一帧中显示所述画面的亮度的两倍。
  13. 根据权利要求1所述的液晶显示器,其中,所述液晶面板为一具有垂直配向显示模式的液晶面板。
  14. 根据权利要求13所述的液晶显示器,其中,所述液晶面板包括对盒设置的彩色滤光片基板和阵列基板以及夹设于所述彩色滤光片基板和所述阵列基板之间的负型液晶。
  15. 根据权利要求13所述的液晶显示器,其中,所述液晶面板和所述背光模块面对设置,由外框将所述液晶面板和所述背光模块结合固定。
  16. 根据权利要求2所述的液晶显示器,其中,所述液晶像素包括至少一个红色液晶像素、少一个绿色液晶像素或少一个蓝色液晶像素,且在列方向上均为同一颜色的液晶像素,在行方向上以红色液晶像素、绿色液晶像素和蓝色液晶像素为组顺序排列。
  17. 一种液晶显示器,其中,包括:
    液晶面板,包括多个液晶像素且被设置为在相邻两帧中显示同一画面;所述液晶面板还包括压覆于非显示区的软性电路板;所述液晶面板为一具有垂直配向显示模式的液晶面板;所述液晶像素包括至少一个红色液晶像素、少一个绿色液晶像素或少一个蓝色液晶像素;
    驱动电路板,其设置于所述非显示区、并与所述软性电路板连接,所述驱动电路板包括设置驱动模块的第一面以及与所述第一面相背的第二面,所述第二面上设置有用于记录所述驱动电路板履历信息的标签;其中,所述驱动模块用于在相邻两帧中分别向每个液晶像素提供高低不同的同极性像素电压,以使每个液晶像素的液晶分子偏转;
    其中,在相邻两帧的每一帧中,每个液晶像素的像素电压的高低都与其上下左右相邻的液晶像素的像素电压的高低不同。
  18. 根据权利要求17所述的液晶显示器,其中,液晶像素的像素电压与液晶像素的光线穿透率成正比,液晶像素的光线穿透率与背光亮度的乘积为液晶像素的显示亮度。
  19. 根据权利要求17所述的液晶显示器,其中,所述液晶面板的各矩形面 板分区在相邻两帧中显示的同一画面的亮度之和为未做低色偏视角补偿效果的液晶面板在一帧中显示所述画面的亮度的两倍。
  20. 根据权利要求17所述的液晶显示器,其中,所述液晶面板包括对盒设置的彩色滤光片基板和阵列基板以及夹设于所述彩色滤光片基板和所述阵列基板之间的负型液晶。
