- the present invention relates to a collapsible ladder and ladder apparatus, in particular a telescopic ladder for suspension from an elevated position, and more particularly to a wall mountable ladder, for use as an emergency fire escape.
- the safest or only available option may be to exit the property via an upstairs window or balcony.
- a ladder is usually required in order to do this safely. However, this would require having a readily available ladder in the property or relying on a third party to deliver a ladder. Abstract
La présente invention concerne un équipement d'échelle rétractable se rapportant à une échelle rétractable et à un équipement d'échelle, en particulier une échelle télescopique pour suspension à partir d'une position élevée. L'échelle de sécurité est prévue pour un déploiement par suspension depuis un emplacement élevé. L'échelle de sécurité comporte une pluralité de sections de rail empilées de manière concentrique ; et une pluralité de barreaux ; chaque barreau est relié à une paire de sections de rail parallèles au moyen d'un raccordement coulissant qui permet un mouvement d'un barreau depuis une première position empilée jusqu'à une seconde position déployée au moyen de la pesanteur, au niveau de la seconde position, le barreau étant empêché de coulisser davantage dans la direction de suspension. L'échelle de sécurité peut être fixée à un élément de fixation comprenant au moins une partie de fixation pouvant être fixée à une surface et au moins une partie d'ancrage.
