Abstract
Die Erfindung betrifft eine Kohlebürstenverschleiß-Messvorrichtung mit einem Schleifring (3); einer Kohlebürste (4), welche entlang einer Verschieberichtung (5) verschiebbar angeordnet ist und in Schleifkontakt mit dem Schleifring (3) vorgespannt ist; einem Indikatormaterial (7), welches sich in, an oder neben der Kohlebürste (4) entlang der Verschieberichtung (5) erstreckt und so mit der Kohlebürste (4) verbunden ist, dass es sich zumindest bezüglich der Verschieberichtung (5) zusammen mit der Kohlebürste (4) bewegt, wobei das Indikatormaterial (7) in Schleifkontakt mit dem Schleifring (3) vorgespannt ist; einem Isolator (8), der zwischen der Kohlebürste (4) und dem Indikatormaterial (7) angeordnet ist und die Kohlebürste (4) elektrisch von dem Indikatormaterial (7) isoliert, und einer Widerstandsmesseinrichtung (9) zum Messen eines Widerstands zwischen zwei Messpunkten (10, 11; 10, 15), zwischen denen zumindest ein Abschnitt des Indikatormaterials (7) und ein Abschnitt des Schleifrings (3) liegt, wobei ein spezifischer Widerstand des Indikatormaterials (7) größer ist als ein spezifischer Widerstand der Kohlebürste (4).
Description
Kohlebürstenverschleiß-Messvorrichtung
Die Erfindung betrifft eine Kohlebürstenverschleiß-Messvorrichtung, einer elektrischen Maschine mit solch einer Kohlebürstenverschleiß- Messvorrichtung sowie ein Fahrzeug mit solch einer elektrischen Maschine.
Aus dem Stand der Technik sind Vorrichtungen bekannt, welche die
Erfassung einer Verschleißgrenze von Kohlebürsten von Elektromotoren ermöglichen. Erreicht die Kohlebürste dabei eine Verschleißgrenze, dann wird diese Verschleißgrenze beispielsweise elektrisch oder optisch detektiert und kann entsprechend angezeigt werden. Solche Vorrichtungen sind beispielsweise aus der DE 197 55 232 A1 und der US 4,761 ,594 A bekannt. Bei solchen Vorrichtungen wird jedoch ein Verschleiß der Kohlebürsten nur mittels zwei Zuständen erfasst, wie beispielsweise„Kohlebürste ausreichend lang" und„Kohlebürste nicht mehr ausreichend lang". Eine kontinuierliche Erfassung der tatsächlichen Kohlebürstenlänge, beispielsweise in % der ursprünglichen Länge, ist mit solchen Vorrichtungen nicht möglich.
Im Rahmen der zunehmenden Verbreitung der Elektromobilität und der damit gesteigerten Anforderung an die Zuverlässigkeit von elektrischen Maschinen (Elektromotoren und/oder Generatoren), insbesondere zum Antrieb von Kraftfahrzeugen, entsteht jedoch der Wunsch nach einer genaueren
Erfassung des Kohlebürstenabriebs.
Eine Aufgabe der Erfindung besteht darin, den Verschleiß von Kohlebürsten einer elektrischen Maschine genauer zu bestimmen. Diese Aufgabe wird mit einer Kohlebürstenverschleiß-Messvorrichtung gemäß Anspruch 1 , einer elektrischen Maschine gemäß Anspruch 6 und einem Fahrzeug gemäß Anspruch 7 gelöst. Vorteilhafte Weiterentwicklungen sind Gegenstand der abhängigen Ansprüche.
Gemäß einem Ausführungsbeispiel der Erfindung wird eine Kohlebürstenverschleiß-Messvorrichtung bereitgestellt, mit einem Schleifring; einer Kohlebürste, welche entlang einer Verschieberichtung verschiebbar angeordnet ist und in Schleifkontakt mit dem Schleifring vorgespannt ist; einem Indikatormaterial, welches sich in, an oder neben der Kohlebürste entlang der Verschieberichtung erstreckt und so mit der Kohlebürste verbunden ist, dass es sich zumindest bezüglich der Verschieberichtung zusammen mit der Kohlebürste bewegt, wobei das Indikatormaterial in Schleifkontakt mit dem Schleifring vorgespannt ist; einem Isolator, der zwischen der Kohlebürste und dem Indikatormaterial angeordnet ist und die Kohlebürste elektrisch von dem Indikatormaterial isoliert, und einer
Widerstandsmesseinrichtung zum Messen eines Widerstands zwischen zwei Messpunkten, zwischen denen zumindest ein Abschnitt des
Indikatormaterials und ein Abschnitt des Schleifrings liegt, wobei ein spezifischer elektrischer Widerstand des Indikatormaterials größer ist als ein spezifischer elektrischer Widerstand der Kohlebürste.
Gemäß einem weiteren Ausführungsbeispiel der Erfindung wird eine
Kohlebürstenverschleiß-Messvorrichtung bereitgestellt, des Weiteren mit einer Kohlebürstenverschleiß-Bestimmungsvorrichtung, welche mittels des gemessenen Widerstands eine Länge der Kohlebürste entlang der
Verschieberichtung bestimmt.
Gemäß einem weiteren Ausführungsbeispiel der Erfindung ist ein
spezifischer Widerstand des Indikatormaterials zumindest einhundertmal größer als ein spezifischer Widerstand der Kohlebürste. Insbesondere ist ein spezifischer Widerstand des Indikatormaterials zumindest tausendmal größer als ein spezifischer Widerstand der Kohlebürste. Insbesondere ist ein spezifischer Widerstand des Indikatormateriais zumindest zehntausendmal größer als ein spezifischer Widerstand der Kohlebürste.
Gemäß einem weiteren Ausführungsbeispiel der Erfindung liegt zwischen den zwei Messpunkten zusätzlich zumindest ein Abschnitt der Kohlebürste. Insbesondere hat der Abschnitt des Indikatormaterials einen höheren
Widerstand als der Abschnitt der Kohlebürste. Insbesondere hat der
Abschnitt des Indikatormaterials einen einhundertmal höheren Widerstand als der Abschnitt der Kohlebürste, mehr bevorzugt einen tausendmal höheren Widerstand und noch mehr bevorzugt einen zehntausendmal höheren Widerstand.
Gemäß einem weiteren Ausführungsbeispiel der Erfindung sind einer der Messpunkte am Schleifring-abgewandten Ende des Indikatormaterials und der andere Messpunkt am Schleifring-abgewandten Ende der Kohlebürste oder an einer elektrischen Leitung zur Kohlebürste angeordnet.
Darüber hinaus stellt die Erfindung eine elektrische Maschine mit zumindest einer Kohlebürstenverschleiß-Messvorrichtung gemäß einem der
vorhergehenden Ausführungsbeispiele und ein Kraftfahrzeug mit solch einer elektrischen Maschine bereit.
Nachfolgend werden bevorzugte Ausführungsbeispiele der vorliegenden Erfindung unter Bezugnahme auf die beigefügten Zeichnungen beschrieben. In diesen Zeichnungen ist Folgendes dargestellt:
Figur 1 zeigt eine Kohlebürstenverschleiß-Messvorrichtung gemäß einem ersten Ausführungsbeispiel der Erfindung, und
Figur 2 zeigt eine Kohlebürstenverschleiß-Messvorrichtung gemäß einem zweiten Ausführungsbeispiel der Erfindung.
Figur 1 zeigt eine Kohlebürstenverschleiß-Messvorrichtung gemäß einem ersten Ausführungsbeispiel der Erfindung. Die Kohlebürstenverschleiß- Messvorrichtung findet vorzugsweise in einer elektrischen Maschine
(Elektromotor und/oder Generator) Anwendung, welcher in bekannter Weise einen auf einer Welle 1 montierten Rotor mit Rotorwicklungen aufweist. Der Rotor ist um eine Drehachse 2 drehbar gelagert und wirkt elektromagnetisch mit einem Stator zusammen. Die Rotorwicklungen sind mit Schleifringen 3 (beispielsweise zwei) elektrisch verbunden und können somit über die Schleifringe 3 mit dem nicht-rotierenden Aufbau der elektrischen Maschine elektrisch verbunden, insbesondere mit elektrischer Energie versorgt, werden. Die Schleifringe 3 sind ringförmig geschlossene oder ringförmig aus Kreissegmenten zusammengesetzte, elektrisch leitfähige Ringe,
insbesondere aus Metall, vorzugsweise Kupfer.
Jedem Schleifring 3 ist zumindest eine Kohlebürste 4, vorzugsweise mehrere, beispielsweise drei Kohlebürsten 4, zugeordnet, die mit dem Schleifring 3 zusammenwirken. Die Kohlebürste 4 ist in einer
Verschieberichtung 5 verschiebbar angeordnet und wird hin zu dem
Schleifring 3 vorgespannt, so dass ein elektrischer Kontakt zwischen der Kohlebürste 4 und dem Schleifring 3 hergestellt wird. Da der Schleifring 3 gegenüber der Kohlebürste 4 drehbar ist, handelt es sich um einen
Schleifkontakt bzw. Gleitkontakt zwischen Kohlebürste 4 und Schleifring 3. Die Verschieberichtung 5 ist eine Richtung hin zum Schleifring 3 und weg von dem Schleifring 3, vorzugsweise eine Richtung senkrecht zur Drehachse 2. Die Vorspannung der Kohlebürste 4 wird beispielsweise mittels einer Feder realisiert.
Die Kohlebürste 4 ist elektrisch leitfähig und vorzugsweise ein klotzförmiges Vollmaterial. Vorzugsweise ist die Kohlebürste 4 aus Graphit, aber es sind auch andere Materialien, insbesondere Metalle, z.B. Kupfer, möglich. Das klotzförmige Vollmaterial ist vorzugsweise im Wesentlichen quaderförmig. Die Kohlebürste 4 ist mit einer elektrischen Leitung 6 zur Energieversorgung des Rotors verbunden. Vorzugsweise ist die Leitung 6 auf der dem
Schleifring 3 abgewandten Seite der Kohlebürste 4 mit dem Material der Kohlebürste 4 elektrisch verbunden. Bei mehreren Kohlebürsten 4 sind diese
in Umfangsrichtung des Schleifrings 3 verteilt angeordnet, so dass ein über die Kohlebürste 4 an den Schleifring 3 weitergebener Strom auf mehrere Kohlebürsten 4 aufgeteilt werden kann.
Im ersten Ausführungsbeispiel ist neben der Kohlebürste 4 ein
Indikatormaterial 7 angeordnet, wobei zwischen der Kohlebürste 4 und dem Indikatormaterial 7 ein Isolationsmaterial 8 vorgesehen ist, um die
Kohlebürste 4 elektrisch vom Indikatormaterial 7 zu isolieren. Das
Indikatormaterial 7 erstreckt sich entlang der Verschieberichtung 5, vorzugsweise erstreckt sich das Indikatormaterial 7 unterbrechungsfrei über die gesamte Länge der Kohlebürste 4 entlang der Verschieberichtung 5. In Figur 1 ist das Indikatormaterial 7 an bzw. neben der Kohlebürste 4 angeordnet. Das Indikatormaterial 7 kann jedoch auch innerhalb der
Kohlebürste 4 angeordnet sein, beispielsweise in einer Längsbohrung.
Vorzugsweise hat das Indikatormaterial 7 in der Verschieberichtung 5 die gleiche Abmessung wie die Kohlebürste 4. Das Indikatormaterial 7 ist Wesentlich hochohmiger als das Material der Kohlebürste 4, d.h. das Indikatormaterial hat einen höheren spezifischen elektrischen Widerstand. Das Isolationsmaterial 8 kann beispielsweise ein Kunststoffmaterial sein. Wesentlich ist dabei, dass das Indikatormaterial 7 direkt oder indirekt so an der Kohlebürste 4 befestigt ist, dass sich das Indikatormaterial 7 bezüglich der Verschieberichtung 5 zusammen mit der Kohlebürste 4 bewegt. Das Indikatormaterial besteht aus einem Material oder einem Materialverbund umfassend Materialien und einen Aufbau, wie aus der Konstruktion von elektrischen Widerständen (im Sinne von Elektronikbauteilen) bekannt. Als Eigenschaft für die Auslegung ist dabei der Widerstand des
Indikatormaterials 7 zu berücksichtigen, beispielsweise ist der spezifische Widerstand des Indikatormaterials 7 zumindest einhundertmal, insbesondere zumindest tausendmal, bevorzugt zumindest zehntausendmal, größer als ein spezifischer Widerstand der Kohlebürste 4 ist. Eine andere zu
berücksichtigende Eigenschaft ist das Abriebverhalten, wobei ein Abrieb des Indikatormaterials 7 gleich oder größer dem der Kohlebürste 4 sein soll, um
zu verhindern, dass sich die Kohlebürste 4 schneller bzw. leichter abreibt als das Indikatormaterial 7, was ansonsten zu einer Verschlechterung des elektrischen Kontakts zwischen Kohlebürste 4 und Schleifring 3 führen könnte.
Eine Widerstandsmesseinrichtung 9 misst einen Widerstand zwischen zwei Messpunkten 10 und 1 1 . Im dargestellten Fall ist einer der Messpunkte 10 auf der der Schleifring-abgewandten Seite mit dem Indikatormaterial 7 und der andere Messpunkt 1 1 mit dem Kohlebürsten-seitigen Ende der Leitung 6 verbunden. Der Messpunkt 1 1 kann aber ebenso auf der der Schleifring- abgewandten Seite der Kohlebürste 4 oder an irgendeinem Punkt der Leitung 6 angeordnet sein. Der Strom pf ad des von der
Widerstandsmesseinrichtung eingeprägten Meßstromes, dessen Widerstand von der Widerstandsmesseinrichtung 9 gemessen wird, ist in Figur 1 mit der gestrichelten Linie 12 angedeutet. Zwischen den beiden Messpunkten liegt im ersten Ausführungsbeispiel somit zumindest
- ein Abschnitt des Indikatormaterials 7, genauer der Abschnitt
zwischen einerseits dem Messpunkt 10 und andererseits der
Kontaktstelle zwischen dem Indikatormaterial 7 und dem Schleifring 3,
- ein Abschnitt des Schleifrings 3, genauer der Abschnitt zwischen
einerseits der Kontaktstelle zwischen dem Indikatormaterial 7 und dem Schleifring 3 und andererseits der Kontaktstelle zwischen dem Schleifring 3 und der Kohlebürste 4, und
- ein Abschnitt der Kohlebürste 4, genauer der Abschnitt zwischen
einerseits der Kontaktstelle zwischen Schleifring 3 und Kohlebürste 4 und andererseits dem Anschlusspunkt der Leitung 6 (falls Messpunkt
1 1 auf Leitung 6 liegt) oder dem Messpunkt 1 1 (falls Messpunkt 1 1 auf Kohlebürste 4 liegt).
Die Widerstandsmesseinrichtung 9 ist mit Leitungen 13 und 14 mit den Messpunkten 10 und 1 1 elektrisch verbunden. Für die Widerstandsmessung enthält die Widerstandsmesseinrichtung 9 eine Konstantstromquelle, welche
die Leitungen 13 und 14 sowie den zwischen den Messpunkten 10 und 1 1 liegenden Strom pfad mit einem Konstantstrom beaufschlagt. Die
Widerstandsmessung und die damit verbundene Einleitung des
Konstantstroms kann sowohl im Betrieb der elektrischen Maschine als auch im Stillstand durchgeführt werden. Für eine möglichst verlustfreie
Energieübertragung ist es wünschenswert, dass die Schleifringe 3 sowie die Kohlebürste 4 einen möglichst niedrigen elektrischen Widerstand aufweisen. Das Indikatormaterial 7 ist jedoch aus einem im Vergleich dazu hochohmigen Material, so dass innerhalb des Strompfads 12 fast die gesamte Spannung am Abschnitt des Indikatormaterials 7 abfällt. Anders ausgedrückt entspricht der gemessene Widerstand im Wesentlichen dem Widerstand des Abschnitts des Indikatormaterials 7, da die übrigen Abschnitte aufgrund des sehr viel niedrigeren spezifischen Widerstands vernachlässigbar sind. Da das
Indikatormaterial 7 einen hohen spezifischen Widerstand aufweist, ist der Widerstand zwischen den Messpunkten 10 und 1 1 abhängig von der Länge des Indikatormaterials 7. Anders ausgedrückt kann über den gemessenen Widerstandswert zwischen den Messpunkten 10 und 1 1 , der im
Wesentlichen dem Widerstandswert am Abschnitt des Indikatormaterials 7 entspricht, die verbleibende Länge des Indikatormaterials 7 und somit wiederum die Länge der verbleibenden Kohlebürste 4 bestimmt werden.
Sollte im Falle mehrerer Kohlebürsten 4 pro Schleifring (und dem damit jeweils verbundenen Indikatormaterial 7) eine Kohlebürste 4 und das damit verbundene Indikatormaterial 7 einen Kontakt zum Schleifring 3 verlieren, dann kann von der Widerstandsmesseinrichtung 9 eine
Stromkreisunterbrechung und somit ein Kontaktverlust detektiert werden und beispielsweise ein Nutzer auf einen Wartungsbedarf hingewiesen werden.
Figur 2 zeigt eine Kohlebürstenverschleiß-Messvorrichtung gemäß einem zweiten Ausführungsbeispiel der Erfindung. Um Wiederholungen zu vermeiden wird bezüglich des zweiten Ausführungsbeispiels auf die
Beschreibung des ersten Ausführungsbeispiels verwiesen und es werden nur
Unterschiede zum ersten Ausführungsbeispiel erläutert. Wie in Figur 2 dargestellt, ist das Indikatormaterial 7 innerhalb der Kohlebürste 4
angeordnet, beispielsweise mittels Durchgangsbohrungen, es kann jedoch auch seitlich bzw. neben der Kohlebürste 4 angeordnet sein. Anstatt eines einzigen Indikatormaterials 7 sind im zweiten Ausführungsbeispiel ein erstes und ein zweites Indikatormaterial 7 vorgesehen. Von den zwei Messpunkten, an denen die Widerstandsmesseinrichtung 9 den Widerstand misst, ist im zweiten Ausführungsbeispiel einer der Messpunkt 10 am ersten
Indikatormaterial 7 angeordnet, so wie im ersten Ausführungsbeispiel im Zusammenhang mit dem einzigen Indikatormaterial beschrieben. Der zweite Messpunkt 15 ist am zweiten Indikatormaterial 7 angeordnet, so wie im ersten Ausführungsbeispiel im Zusammenhang mit dem einzigen
Indikatormaterial beschrieben. Zwischen den beiden Messpunkten 10 und 15 liegt somit im zweiten Ausführungsbeispiel ein Abschnitt des ersten
Indikatormaterials 7, ein Abschnitt des Schleifrings 3 und ein Abschnitt des zweiten Indikatormaterials 7. Da das Indikatormaterial hochohmig ist, fällt die gemessene Spannung im Wesentlichen an den beiden Abschnitten des ersten und zweiten Indikatormaterials ab. Das heißt der gemessene
Widerstandswert zwischen den Messpunkten 10 und 15 entspricht im
Wesentlichem dem Widerstandswert der beiden Abschnitte des ersten und zweiten Indikatormaterials, da der Widerstandswert der übrigen Abschnitte vernachlässigt werden kann, so dass über den gemessenen Widerstand eine Länge des Indikatormaterials und somit eine Länge der Kohlebürste 4 bestimmt werden kann.
Während die Erfindung detailliert in den Zeichnungen und der
vorangehenden Beschreibung veranschaulicht und beschrieben wurde, ist diese Veranschaulichung und Beschreibung als veranschaulichend oder beispielhaft und nicht als beschränkend zu verstehen und es ist nicht beabsichtigt die Erfindung auf die offenbarten Ausführungsbeispiele zu beschränken. Die bloße Tatsache, dass bestimmte Merkmale in
verschiedenen abhängigen Ansprüchen genannt sind, soll nicht andeuten,
dass eine Kombination dieser Merkmale nicht auch vorteilhaft genutzt werden könnte.
Claims
1 . Kohlebürstenverschleiß-Messvorrichtung mit
einem Schleifring (3);
einer Kohlebürste (4), welche entlang einer Verschieberichtung (5) verschiebbar angeordnet ist und in Schleifkontakt mit dem Schleifring (3) vorgespannt ist;
einem Indikatormaterial (7), welches sich in, an oder neben der Kohlebürste (4) entlang der Verschieberichtung (5) erstreckt und so mit der Kohlebürste (4) verbunden ist, dass es sich zumindest bezüglich der
Verschieberichtung (5) zusammen mit der Kohlebürste (4) bewegt, wobei das Indikatormaterial (7) in Schleifkontakt mit dem Schleifring (3) vorgespannt ist; einem Isolator (8), der zwischen der Kohlebürste (4) und dem
Indikatormaterial (7) angeordnet ist und die Kohlebürste (4) elektrisch von dem Indikatormaterial (7) isoliert, und
einer Widerstandsmesseinrichtung (9) zum Messen eines Widerstands zwischen zwei Messpunkten (10, 1 1 ; 10, 15), zwischen denen zumindest ein Abschnitt des Indikatormaterials (7) und ein Abschnitt des Schleifrings (3) liegt, wobei ein spezifischer Widerstand des Indikatormaterials (7) größer ist als ein spezifischer Widerstand der Kohlebürste (4).
2. Kohlebürstenverschleiß-Messvorrichtung gemäß Anspruch 1 , einer Kohlebürstenverschleiß-Bestimmungsvorrichtung, welche mittels des gemessenen Widerstands eine Länge der Kohlebürste (4) entlang der Verschieberichtung (5) bestimmt.
3. Kohlebürstenverschleiß-Messvorrichtung gemäß einem der
vorhergehenden Ansprüche, wobei ein spezifischer Widerstand des
Indikatormaterials (7) zumindest einhundertmal größer ist als ein spezifischer Widerstand der Kohlebürste (4).
4. Kohlebürstenverschleiß-Messvorrichtung gemäß einem der
vorhergehenden Ansprüche, wobei zwischen den zwei Messpunkten (10, 1 1 ) zusätzlich zumindest ein Abschnitt der Kohlebürste (4) liegt.
5. Kohlebürstenverschleiß-Messvorrichtung gemäß Anspruch 4, wobei einer der Messpunkte (10) am Schleifring-abgewandten Ende des
Indikatormaterials (7) und der andere Messpunkt (1 1 ) am Schleifring- abgewandten Ende der Kohlebürste (4) oder an einer elektrischen Leitung (6) zur Kohlebürste (4) angeordnet sind.
6. Elektrischen Maschine mit zumindest einer Kohlebürstenverschleiß- Messvorrichtung gemäß einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche.
7. Kraftfahrzeug mit einer elektrischen Maschine gemäß Anspruch 6.
