  • a timer unit is initiated to check the speed after a predetermined time DyD as indicated in step 408, further, again speed of the vehicle is checked if it is greater than the threshold speedDxD as indicated in step 409, if the speed is greater than the threshold speed DxD, then the vehicle remains in driving mode, else the vehicle enters the idling mode and further inputs from the GPS unit is taken to calculate location based on speed of the vehicle.

Further, if the user requires any more details regarding the selected place, which is a restaurant, then the places details interface 603 fetches detailed description about the restaurant607 and an option to navigate is communicated to the user as shown in 610. If the option to navigate610 is selected by the user, then the MAPS interface 604 fetches the required data as to distance and other details regarding the selected restaurant as indicated by 611.

If the SOS key is deactivated, then the SOS module is initiated from the beginning 915, else the timer is initiated as indicated in step 920. After Y intervals of time is lapsed by the timer, a SMS with GPS co-ordinates is communicated to the emergency numbers as saved by the user.

Abstract

La présente invention concerne un système de sécurité de véhicule et un procédé correspondant. Le système de sécurité de véhicule (150) comprend un ou plusieurs modules (100, 600, 700) conçus pour détecter et fournir des conditions de sécurité de véhicule. Le ou les modules (100, 600 et 700) comprennent un module de détection d'accident (301) permettant de détecter (502) un ou plusieurs événements dangereux, un module de détection de mode permettant d'activer un mode d'urgence, et ledit au moins un module parmi le ou les modules (100, 600 et 700) permet d'activer un ou plusieurs modules de sécurité de véhicule sur la base d'au moins une entrée d'utilisateur parmi une ou plusieurs entrées d'utilisateur et une ou plusieurs entrées de véhicule critiques relatives à l'état d'un véhicule.
