进一步地,在第N-1帧、第N帧以及第N+1帧期间,所述数据电压可为V1、V2、V3、......、Vn,其中V1、V2、V3、......、Vn为显示面板的不同灰阶电压,第N-1帧与第N帧上的数据驱动电压相对于所述公共电极上的电压做正负极性的切换,第N帧与第N+1帧上的数据驱动电压相对于所述公共电极上的电压做正负极性的切换,可以进一步避免显示面板极化,导致画面残留影像现象。
本发明实施例提供的显示面板的驱动方法,在帧与帧交替期间,提供一扫描驱动电压和一数据驱动电压至所述显示面板,使得显示面板中像素电极与公共电极之间不会产生压差,残留的离子不会移向像素电极或公共电极,进而不会产生直流残留现象,可以减弱或消除显示面板上的画面残留影像现象。
本发明还提供第二优选实施例的显示面板的驱动方法,与第一优选实施例的显示面板的驱动方法的区别在于,在第2n+1个帧与帧交替期间,所述数据驱动电压设置成第一驱动电压;在第2n个帧与帧交替期间,所述数据驱动电压设置成第二驱动电压;所述第一驱动电压大于所述公共电极上的电压;所述第二驱动电压小于所述公共电极上的电压,同样可以使显示面板不会出现画面残留影像现象。
请参照图4,图4为本发明的显示面板的驱动方法的第二优选实施例流程图。
本发明第二优选实施例的显示面板的驱动方法,其具体步骤为:
步骤S201,在帧与帧交替期间生成一扫描驱动电压至所述显示面板的各条扫描线,打开所述显示面板的各个薄膜晶体管;
步骤S202,根据公共电极上的电压设置数据驱动电压;
步骤S203,将所述数据驱动电压传至所述显示面板各个像素单元的像素电极上。
具体地,本发明所述的显示面板的驱动方法中,主要有三种电压,分别为扫描驱动电压、数据驱动电压及公共电极上的电压。其中扫描驱动电压用于控制像素单元中薄膜晶体管的开启或关闭;数据驱动电压用于驱动像素单元中的薄膜晶体管的源极,将数据驱动电压经薄膜晶体管的源极和漏极传至像素电极上;显示面板主要包括相互对置设置的阵列基板和彩色滤光基板以及夹在两极板之间的液晶层,而在阵列基板和彩色滤光片基板上都有公共电极,并电性连接,在阵列基板上的公共电极用于与像素电极形成存储电容,彩色滤光片基板上的公共电极用于与像素电极形成液晶电容。公共电极上的电压由显示面板的公共电极电压模块提供,公共电极电压模块为显示面板在显示画面时提供公共电极电压,该公共电极电压为恒定值。
在步骤S201中,参阅图2,图2为本发明的显示面板的驱动方法的扫描驱动电压的时序图。
可以看出,显示面板上有n行水平扫描线,当扫描线逐行扫描时,扫描驱动电压从上至下依次提供给水平扫描线1、水平扫描线2、水平扫描线3、......、水平扫描线n,从而完成一帧画面的扫描,即从第一根扫描线上对应的薄膜晶体管打开到最后一根扫描线上对应的薄膜晶体管关闭,这段时间称为一帧期间。特别地,公共电极上的电压为一恒定的电压值,不会随着每一帧画面交替而变化。但是,会存在一帧与帧交替期间,即前一帧的最后一根扫描线上对应的薄膜晶体管关闭到当前帧的第一根扫描线上对应的薄膜晶体管打开的期间,如图2中的N-1帧和N+1帧之间的帧与帧交替期间以及N帧与N+1帧之间的帧与帧交替期间。此时,在帧与帧交替期间上,生成一扫描驱动电压给水平扫描线1、水平扫描线2、水平扫描线3、......、水平扫描线n,而水平扫描线1、水平扫描线2、水平扫描线3、......、水平扫描线n分别与各行各个像素单元中的薄膜晶体管的栅极电性连接,扫描驱动电压经水平扫描线1、水平扫描线2、水平扫描线3、......、水平扫描线n传至各个像素单元中的薄膜晶体管的栅极,打开各个像素单元中的薄膜晶体管,使数据驱动电压经薄膜晶体管的源极和漏极传至各个像素单元的像素电极上。
特别地,在帧与帧交替期间,扫描驱动电压作用的时间小于所述帧与帧交替期间的持续时间。
如图5所示,图5为本发明的显示面板的驱动方法的第二优选实施例的数据驱动电压时序图。
在步骤S202中,参阅图5,根据公共电极上的电压设置数据驱动电压。优选地,在第2n+1个帧与帧交替期间,将所述数据驱动电压设置成第一驱动电压;在第2n个帧与帧交替期间,将所述数据驱动电压设置成第二驱动电压,如:在第N-1帧与第N帧交替期间,将所述数据驱动电压设置成第一驱动电压;在第N帧与第N+1帧交替期间,将所述数据驱动电压设置成第二驱动电压。

在步骤S203中,将所述数据驱动电压传至所述显示面板各个像素单元的像素电极上。具体地,本发明实施例在第2n+1个帧与帧交替期间生成第一驱动电压传至所述显示面板各个像素单元的像素电极上,因此所述像素电极与所述公共电极之间产生第一压差,所述第一压差等于所述像素电极上的电压减去所述公共电极上的电压;本发明实施例还在第2n个帧与帧交替期间生成第二驱动电压传至所述显示面板各个像素单元的像素电极上,因此所述像素电极与所述公共电极之间产生第二压差,所述第二压差等于所述像素电极上的电压减去所述公共电极上的电压。
优选地,本发明实施例也可以在第2n个帧与帧交替期间生成第一驱动电压传至所述显示面板各个像素单元的像素电极上,因此所述像素电极与所述公共电极之间产生第一压差,所述第一压差等于所述像素电极上的电压减去所述公共电极上的电压;本发明实施例还在第2n+1个帧与帧交替期间生成第二驱动电压传至所述显示面板各个像素单元的像素电极上,因此所述像素电极与所述公共电极之间产生第二压差,所述第二压差等于所述像素电极上的电压减去所述公共电极上的电压。
进一步地,所述第一压差与所述第二压差的和为零。具体地,当所述显示面板残余的离子为正离子时,在第2n个帧与帧交替期间,由于所述像素电极与所述公共电极之间存在第二压差,使得正离子会往像素电极移动;在第2n+1个帧与帧交替期间,由于所述像素电极与所述公共电极之间存在第一压差,使得正离子会往公共电极移动。经过第2n个帧与帧交替期间和第2n+1个帧与帧交替期间后,显示面板各个像素单元上的像素电极与公共电极之间形成的存储电容之间的电荷平衡,正离子不会偏向像素电极和公共电极,不会诱发离子引起直流残留,从而不会出现画面残留影像现象。
优选地,当所述显示面板残余的离子为正离子时,在第2n+1个帧与帧交替期间,由于所述像素电极与所述公共电极之间存在第二压差,使得正离子会往像素电极移动;在第2n个帧与帧交替期间,由于所述像素电极与所述公共电极之间存在第一压差,使得正离子会往公共电极移动。经过第2n个帧与帧交替期间和第2n+1个帧与帧交替期间后,显示面板各个像素单元上的像素电极与公共电极之间形成的存储电容之间的电荷平衡,正离子不会偏向像素电极和公共电极,不会诱发离子引起直流残留,从而不会出现画面残留影像现象。
在第N-1帧、第N帧以及第N+1帧期间,所述数据电压可为V1、V2、V3、......、Vn,其中V1、V2、V3、......、Vn为显示面板的不同灰阶电压,第N-1帧与第N帧上的数据驱动电压相对于所述公共电极上的电压做正负极性的切换,第N帧与第N+1帧上的数据驱动电压相对于所述公共电极上的电压做正负极性的切换,可以进一步避免显示面板极化,导致画面残留影像现象。
本发明实施例提供的显示面板的驱动方法,在帧与帧交替期间,提供一扫描驱动电压和一数据驱动电压至所述显示面板,使得经过第2n个帧与帧交替期间与第2n+1个帧与帧交替期间后,显示面板中像素电极与公共电极之间不会产生压差,残留的离子不会移向像素电极或公共电极,进而不会产生直流残留现象,可以减弱或消除显示面板上的画面残留影像现象。
如图6所示,图6为本发明显示面板优选实施例的阵列基板示意图。
本发明的显示面板主要包括相互对置设置的阵列基板和彩色滤光基板,以及夹在两基板之间的液晶层。其中,液晶层由液晶分子构成。
阵列基板包括沿基板的水平方向排列的扫描线110和沿基板的垂直方向排列的数据线120,所述扫描线110和所述数据线120相互交叉形成像素单元101,像素单元101包括像素电极102及薄膜晶体管103。其中,薄膜晶体管103的栅极与扫描线110电性相连,源极与数据线120电性相连,漏极与像素电极102电性相连,且每一条扫描线110与对应行的各薄膜晶体管103的栅极相连,每一条数据线120与对应列的各薄膜晶体管103的源极相连。
显示面板工作时,利用扫描线110分别发送扫描驱动电压至对应行的各薄膜晶体管103,控制薄膜晶体管103逐行开启或关闭;且当薄膜晶体管103处于开启状态时,数据线120上的数据驱动电压会经由薄膜晶体管103的源极和漏极加至像素单元101的像素电极102上。
如图7所示,图7为本发明显示面板的驱动装置第一优选实施例的结构示意图。
本优选实施例的显示面板的驱动装置70包括扫描驱动电压生成模块701、数据驱动电压生成模块702以及据驱动电压传递模块703。其中扫描驱动电压生成模块701用于在帧与帧交替期间生成一扫描驱动电压至所述显示面板的各条扫描线,打开所述显示面板的各个薄膜晶体管;数据驱动电压生成模块702用于根据公共电极上的电压设置数据驱动电压;数据驱动电压传递模块703用于将所述数据驱动电压传至所述显示面板各个像素单元的像素电极上。
在帧与帧交替期间上,扫描驱动电压生成模块701扫描生成一扫描驱动电压给水平扫描线1、水平扫描线2、水平扫描线3、......、水平扫描线n,而水平扫描线1、水平扫描线2、水平扫描线3、......、水平扫描线n分别与各行各个像素单元中的薄膜晶体管的栅极电性连接,扫描驱动电压经水平扫描线1、水平扫描线2、水平扫描线3、......、水平扫描线n传至各个像素单元中的薄膜晶体管的栅极,打开各个像素单元中的薄膜晶体管,使数据驱动电压经薄膜晶体管的源极和漏极传至各个像素单元的像素电极上。
数据驱动电压生成模块702根据公共电极上的电压设置数据驱动电压。在帧与帧交替期间,数据驱动电压生成模块702将所述数据驱动电压设置成公共电极上的电压。
数据电压传递模块703将数据电压生成模块702生成的数据驱动电压传至所述显示面板各个像素单元的像素电极上。具体地,本发明实施例在所有帧与帧交替期间生成一数据电压传至所述显示面板各个像素单元的像素电极上,由于所述数据电压设置成公共电极上的电压,故所述像素电极与公共电极之间不会产生压差,从而使得在帧与帧交替期间,显示面板各个像素单元上的像素电极与公共电极之间形成的存储电容之间的电荷平衡,进而显示面板上的离子不会偏向像素电极或公共电极,不会诱发离子引起直流残留,从而不会出现画面残留影像现象。
在第N-1帧、第N帧以及第N+1帧期间,所述数据驱动电压生成模块702将所述数据电压设置为V1、V2、V3、......、Vn,其中V1、V2、V3、......、Vn为显示面板的不同灰阶电压,第N-1帧与第N帧上的数据驱动电压相对于所述公共电极上的电压做正负极性的切换,第N帧与第N+1帧上的数据驱动电压相对于所述公共电极上的电压做正负极性的切换,可以进一步避免显示面板极化,导致画面残留影像现象。
本发明实施例的显示面板的驱动装置70在帧与帧交替期间通过扫描线110向显示面板上的各个薄膜晶体管103的栅极输入一扫描驱动电压,并且向数据线120输入一数据驱动电压至显示面板各个像素单元101的像素电极102上,从而可以使得由于离子引起的直流残留在帧与帧交替时被减弱或消除,从而不会使在画面切换时有显像重叠,简便地消除画面残留影像。
如图8所示,图8为本发明显示面板的驱动装置第二优选实施例的结构示意图。
本优选实施例的显示面板的驱动装置80包括扫描驱动电压生成模块801、数据驱动电压生成模块802以及据驱动电压传递模块803。其中扫描驱动电压生成模块801用于在帧与帧交替期间生成一扫描驱动电压至所述显示面板的各条扫描线,打开所述显示面板的各个薄膜晶体管;数据驱动电压生成模块802用于根据公共电极上的电压设置数据驱动电压;数据驱动电压传递模块803用于将所述数据驱动电压传至所述显示面板各个像素单元的像素电极上。
在帧与帧交替期间上,扫描驱动电压生成模块801扫描生成一扫描驱动电压给水平扫描线1、水平扫描线2、水平扫描线3、......、水平扫描线n,而水平扫描线1、水平扫描线2、水平扫描线3、......、水平扫描线n分别与各行各个像素单元中的薄膜晶体管的栅极电性连接,扫描驱动电压经水平扫描线1、水平扫描线2、水平扫描线3、......、水平扫描线n传至各个像素单元中的薄膜晶体管的栅极,打开各个像素单元中的薄膜晶体管,使数据驱动电压经薄膜晶体管的源极和漏极传至各个像素单元的像素电极上。

本发明实施例的显示面板的驱动装置80在帧与帧交替期间通过扫描线110向显示面板上的各个薄膜晶体管103的栅极输入一扫描驱动电压,并且向数据线120输入一数据驱动电压至显示面板各个像素单元101的像素电极102上,从而可以使得由于离子引起的直流残留在帧与帧交替时被减弱或消除,从而不会使在画面切换时有显像重叠,简便地消除画面残留影像。
本发明提供的显示面板的驱动方法及显示面板的驱动装置,在帧与帧交替期间,提供一扫描驱动电压和数据驱动电压至所述显示面板,使得显示面板中像素电极与公共电极之间没有压差,残留的离子不会移向像素电极或公共电极,进而不会产生直流残留现象,可以减弱或消除显示面板上的画面残留影像现象。

- 一种显示面板的驱动方法,其包括:在帧与帧交替期间生成一扫描驱动电压至所述显示面板的各条扫描线,打开所述显示面板的各个薄膜晶体管;根据公共电极上的电压设置数据驱动电压,将所述数据驱动电压设置成公共电极上的电压,其中,所述公共电极电压为恒定不变的;将所述数据驱动电压传至所述显示面板各个像素单元的像素电极上。
- 根据权利要求1所述的显示面板的驱动方法,其中所述根据公共电极上的电压设置数据驱动电压的步骤中,在第2n+1个帧与帧交替期间,所述数据驱动电压设置成第一驱动电压;在第2n个帧与帧交替期间,所述数据驱动电压设置成第二驱动电压;所述第一驱动电压大于所述公共电极上的电压;所述第二驱动电压小于所述公共电极上的电压。
- 根据权利要求2所述的显示面板的驱动方法,其中所述第一驱动电压与所述公共电极上的电压之间的压差为第一压差,所述第二驱动电压与所述公共电极上的电压之间的压差为第二压差,所述第一压差与所述第二压差的和为零。

- 根据权利要求14所述的显示面板的驱动装置,其中所述公共电极上的电压为恒定不变的。
