Abstract

La présente invention concerne une unité de commande pour un rétroviseur latéral de véhicule. L'unité de commande comprend un module de détecteur directionnel facial du conducteur, un module de détecteur de gestes de la main du conducteur et un processeur informatique. Le module de détecteur directionnel facial comprend un port de caméra de reconnaissance faciale du conducteur permettant de recevoir des données d'images du visage du conducteur et un détecteur directionnel facial du conducteur permettant de déterminer des données directionnelles du visage selon les données d'images faciales. Le module de détecteur de gestes comprend un port de caméra de reconnaissance de la main du conducteur permettant de recevoir des données d'images d'une main du conducteur et un détecteur de gestes de la main du conducteur permettant de déterminer des données de gestes de la main du conducteur selon les données d'images de la main. Le processeur informatique est conçu pour générer un signal d'activation pour un actionneur de rétroviseur latéral de véhicule en fonction des données directionnelles du visage du conducteur et en fonction des données de gestes de la main. Le processeur informatique envoie ensuite le signal d'activation d'actionneur à l'actionneur de miroir.
