Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a una mezcla específica de proteínas híbridas formadas con toxinas seleccionadas del veneno de alacranes de distintas partes del mundo y la proteína tiorredoxina, las cuales se expresan heterólogamente, por ingeniería genética, como proteínas híbridas, y son capaces de funcionar como antígenos (inmunógenos) eficientes en la producción de anticuerpos en mamíferos, que a su vez neutralizan el veneno completo de las especies de alacranes de los cuales se obtuvo la información genética de las toxinas, así como a una composición farmacéutica que contiene dicha mezcla o combinación para usarse como antiveneno de alacrán.
