Abstract
Description
楽曲に対応した照明を用いた緻密な演出効果を得るためには、楽曲を理解した専属の照明スタッフが操作することが望ましい。しかし、小規模なコンサートやクラブ、イベント等では、費用の都合などから、専属スタッフを常駐させることが困難である。
照明制御データの作成にあたっては、対象となる楽曲データに対して、予め楽曲解析を行い、楽曲のブロック(例えばAメロ、Bメロ、サビなど)に区画し、各ブロックのイメージに適した照明パターンを指定する等がなされている。
しかし、楽曲の各ブロックと、対応する照明の制御とのタイミングが整合していないと、楽曲と照明との間で時間的なずれが生じ、所望の演出効果が得られない。
また、コンサートやクラブシーンにおいて、DJ(ディスクジョッキー)が任意の楽曲を選択する場合など、事前に照明制御データを準備できない。このような状況では、現場で急ぎ照明制御データを作成することも考えられるが、前述のような正確なタイミング設定までをも短時間で完了することは、著しく困難である。
図1には、クラブ等のライブスペース用の音響照明システム1が示されている。
音響照明システム1は、音楽再生を行う楽曲再生装置10と、ライブスペース内の照明を行う照明装置20と、照明装置20を制御する照明制御装置30とを備えている。
楽曲データ11は、ディスク媒体で楽曲再生装置10に供給されるほか、ネットワーク通信を介して楽曲再生装置10に供給される。
照明器具21は、舞台照明に多用される、例えばパーライト、ストロボライト、ムービングヘッドなどである。これらの照明器具21においては、それぞれ投光の断続、明るさのほか、器具によって照射方向、動作速度などのパラメータを指定することができる。
なお、DMX512規格は舞台照明分野で一般的な規格であるが、照明装置20および後述する照明制御装置30は同規格に限らず、他の規格に基づくものであってもよい。
照明制御装置30には、前述した照明制御ソフトウェアにより、情報取得部31、基準位置配置部32、照明制御情報編集部33、照明制御情報設定部34、照明制御部36が構成される。
一方、照明制御部36は、作成された照明制御データ35に基づいて照明装置20を制御するものである。本実施形態において、照明制御部36は、照明制御装置30のPC上で実行されるDMXコントロールソフトウェアで構成される。また、照明制御データ35は、照明制御部36で処理されるDMX制御プログラムとされている。
これらの照明制御データ35および照明制御部36は、各々照明装置20のDMX512規格に準拠しており、同規格に基づいて照明制御データ35に照明動作を記述しておくことにより、照明制御部36により照明装置20に所望の照明動作を実行させることができる。
なお、照明制御部36は、DMXコントロールソフトウェアではなく、照明制御装置30として用いるPCに接続されたハードウェアDMXコントローラであってもよい。また、照明装置20がDMX規格とは別の規格に基づく場合、照明制御部36も当該規格に応じて構成される。
図2に示すように、楽曲データ11は、例えば、イントロ、Aメロ、Bメロ、サビ、ブレイク、Aメロ繰り返し、アウトロの各ブロック111で構成される。
照明制御データ35には、各ブロック111に対応した照明制御情報351が設定される。つまり、イントロ、Aメロ、Bメロ、サビ、ブレイク、Aメロ繰り返し、アウトロの各々に、それぞれ個別の照明制御情報351が割り当てられる。
本実施形態では、このような照明制御情報351の割り当てにあたって、情報取得部31、基準位置配置部32、照明制御情報編集部33、照明制御情報設定部34により、拍位置を単位とした処理が行われる。
さらに、情報取得部31は、ドラム音およびスネア音を識別し、これらから1,3拍位置および2,4拍位置を検出する等により、小節位置を検出してもよい。また、楽曲のキーおよびコードを解析し、フレーズの分布を検出する等により、複数小節からなるブロック(例えばAメロ、Bメロ、サビなど)を検出してもよい。
このような楽曲解析を行う技術としては、例えば、特開2010-97084号公報に記載の技術が採用できる。
例えば、楽曲データ11に対応した長さのブランクの照明制御データを作成しておき、このブランクの照明制御データにおける、拍位置情報の各拍位置に対応する時間位置に、それぞれ基準位置を記録してゆく。その結果、楽曲データ11に対応した長さであって、多数の基準位置で細かな単位に区画されたブランクの照明制御データが得られる。
例えば、基準位置配置部32で基準位置が配置されたブランクの照明制御データに対して編集を行い、その該当部分に照明制御情報351(図2参照)を割り付けてゆく。
割り付けられる照明制御情報は、照明制御情報設定部34により設定される。
表示部341の表示画像としては、例えば、ブランクの照明制御データを示す横長のバーグラフと、その中間部分に縦長の区切り線で表示されたグリッドとすることができる。
所望の照明制御情報としては、前述した照明装置20における照明器具21の指定、および各照明器具21のパラメータ(投光の断続、明るさのほか、器具によって照射方向、動作速度など)の指定が用いられる。
さらに、照明制御情報セットを組み合わせて所定のイメージ(暗い、明るい、赤系、青系などの単純イメージから、賑やか、楽しい、寂しげ、悲しい、恐いなどの情感イメージを含む)を喚起するような照明パターンを予め作成しておいてもよい。
例えば、楽曲のAメロ部分に照明制御情報セットAが設定されたならば、照明制御情報編集部33は、照明制御データのAメロ部分に対応する部位に、照明制御情報セットAに対応する照明制御情報を埋め込む。
なお、ユーザ9の操作により、設定された照明制御情報の先頭位置を、最寄りの基準位置からずらすこともできる。具体的には、照明制御情報の照明制御データにおける時間位置を、基準位置からずれた数値に変更する等を行えばよい。あるいは、操作部342を操作して、表示部341の画面上で、先頭位置をずらす操作を行ってもよい。
ユーザ9が楽曲再生装置10で楽曲データ11を指定すると、照明制御装置30では、情報取得部31により、楽曲データ11の楽曲解析が行われる。そして、基準位置配置部32により、基準位置で区画されたブランクの照明制御データが作成される。
図3に示すように、楽曲データ11の各部において、その音声信号レベルに現れるビートから、拍位置が検出される。ブランクの照明制御データ353には、拍位置に基づいて基準位置352が配置される。
ブランクの照明制御データ353は、表示部341においては、照明情報設定用のグリッドで区画されたバーグラフとして表示される。
図4に示すように、ユーザ9は、楽曲データ11の各ブロックのイメージに基づいて、照明イメージ354を決定する。そして、照明イメージ354を具現化する照明制御情報351を、ブランクの照明制御データ353に割り当ててゆく。
ユーザ9は、該当するグリッドに対して、おおよその位置で照明制御情報351を指定する。このようなおおよその位置指定であっても、照明制御情報編集部33が照明制御情報351を最寄りの基準位置352に揃える処理を行う。
これにより、照明制御情報351が基準位置352にきちんと揃えて割り当てられた照明制御データ35が作成される。
画面40において、上辺に沿って楽曲データ11のレベルグラフ41が表示され、その時間軸に沿って多数の照明制御情報アイコン42が配置されている。
その下方には、照明制御情報リスト43が表示され、リストされた照明制御情報タイトル44には、前述した照明制御情報アイコン42との対応関係を示す色のマーカ45が表示されている。
照明制御情報タイトル44は、その表示をクリック等することで、この照明制御情報タイトル44に対応する照明制御情報351の内容46が表示される。各内容46については、さらにその表示をクリック等することで、より詳細な照明制御内容47の設定画面が表示される。
また、照明制御情報351が拍位置を単位とした位置へと自動的に補正されるため、短時間で照明制御データ35を作成する状況でも、微妙な操作を緩和することができ、操作の容易さおよび適切さを確保することができる。
例えば、楽曲再生装置10は、PCオーディオシステムに限らず、専用のディスク再生装置あるいは音楽データ再生装置であってもよい。また、楽曲再生装置10は、DJ操作用のDJコントローラを有し、あるいはDJコントローラが接続されていてもよい。

なお、小節単位あるいはブロック単位とする場合でも、基準位置は拍位置に基づくものとしてよい。
Claims (4)
- 楽曲に対応した照明制御情報が登録された照明制御データを作成し、前記照明制御データに基づいて照明装置を制御する照明制御装置であって、
前記楽曲の拍位置を示す拍位置情報を取得する情報取得部と、
前記拍位置情報の拍位置に対応した複数の基準位置を配置する基準位置配置部と、
前記楽曲に対応した前記照明制御情報を設定する照明制御情報設定部と、
前記基準位置を単位として前記照明制御情報を登録する照明制御情報編集部と、を有することを特徴とする照明制御装置。 - 請求項1に記載した照明制御装置において、
前記照明制御情報設定部は、表示部と操作部とを備え、
前記表示部に前記楽曲を示す画像および前記画像上で前記基準位置を示すグリッドを表示し、前記操作部を用いて前記グリッドに前記照明制御情報を設定可能であることを特徴とする照明制御装置。 - 楽曲に対応した照明制御情報が登録された照明制御データを作成し、前記照明制御データに基づいて照明装置を制御する照明制御方法であって、
前記楽曲の拍位置を示す拍位置情報を取得し、
前記拍位置情報の拍位置に対応した複数の基準位置を配置し、
前記楽曲に対応した前記照明制御情報を設定し、
前記基準位置を単位として前記照明制御情報を登録することを特徴とする照明制御方法。 - 請求項3に記載した照明制御方法をコンピュータシステムで実行させることを特徴とする照明制御プログラム。
