背景技术
在当前的数字电视广播系统中,根据业界标准,节目提供商可以在电视节目播出之前在传送流(TS,Transport Streams)中插入服务信息(SI,Service Information),用以表示与节目相关的信息,例如节目列表、播出时间等参数。在用户端,数字机顶盒从接收到的各TS流中提取到SI信息后,对SI信息进行处理,提取出节目提供商提供的节目列表和播出参数等,借助电子节目指南(EPG,Electronic Program Guide)以直观的形式显示给数字电视的用户,再由机顶盒中的综合接收解码器(IRD)根据用户选择的节目和节目特殊信息(PSI,Program Specific Information)进行频道调谐,使用户可以方便快捷地看到自己喜爱的数字电视节目。
随着数字电视系统的迅猛发展和普及,数字机顶盒的应用越来越广泛,其功能也在逐渐增加。然而,TS流中的SI信息仍然局限于携带播放参数等与节目播放直接相关的信息,并没有得到有效的利用和充分扩展。例如,与节目相关的、用户可能感兴趣的一些信息,诸如节目中演员穿戴的服饰信息等,没能有效地传递给用户。
而且,数字机顶盒对SI信息进行提取和处理后,其呈现方式和传输给用户的方式不尽合理,无法在观看节目的同时让用户选择性地获取一些与节目相关的信息,或者是在观看节目的同时实现传输给用户一些节目提供商/运营商希望传递的信息。
也就是说,在当前数字电视系统中,数据的传输方式和呈现方式都有待提高。
发明内容
有鉴于此,本发明提供一种利用数字电视系统有效传输数据的方案,在数字电视节目的播放过程中向用户传输特定数据,本发明提供的方案基本上不改动现有的数字电视系统,采用一种全新的数据传输方式实现相关信息的有效输出,既充分利用现有的数字电视系统资源,又不影响用户对电视节目的观感。
具体地,根据本发明的一方面,一种在数字电视广播中传输特定数据的方法,包括:
从数字电视广播节目的传输流中提取服务信息数据;
解析出所述服务信息数据中的特定数据,所述特定数据是节目提供商/业务运营商提供的,并按照服务信息数据的格式预先编码在所述服务信息数据中;以及
对所述特定数据进行编码调制并以无线通信方式对编码调制后的信号进行广播。

在这里,特定数据是指节目提供商和/或业务运营商希望在电视节目播放过程中传输给用户的任何数据,包括但不限于:与节目播放相关的时间、节目预告、节目背景介绍等数据信息,与节目场景相关的广告信息、网站链接代码、内容索引、优惠券代码等。不同类型的特定数据可以采用不同的编码方式,这取决于节目提供商和/或业务运营商的具体应用开发以及所应用的软硬件环境。例如,业务运营商可能希望向用户呈现一个图片格式的优惠券,考虑到图片格式的文件可以很小,于是可以直接将该图片格式的优惠券编码成SI信息的格式,与SI信息一起发送;这种情况下,在接收端侧接收时,也直接呈现出该图片格式的优惠券来。还可以通过设置数据库,存储特定数据,并给每个特定数据分配和/或指定唯一索引号,这种情况下,将特定数据的索引号编码成SI信息,与SI信息一起发送,接收时解码获得索引号,根据索引号在数据库中查找相应的特定数据。这在节目提供商和/或业务运营商希望向用户传输的信息/特定数据比较大、比较多或者不方便在接收端侧直接呈现出来时,尤为适用。例如,如果节目提供商和/或业务运营商希望呈现给用户的是网站链接,那么优选将网站网址存储在数据库中,并给其分配和/或指定唯一的索引号,然后将索引号编码成SI信息。这样,在接收端侧接收并解码后,获得索引号,根据索引号可以在数据库中查找到相应的网址。
复用器103将电视节目的音频流、视频流与SI信息复用在一起,形成复合的MPEG-2 TS流,其中,复用器103带有节目特殊信息(PSI)/服务信息(SI)插入数据接口。
编码调制模块104将MPEG-2 TS流编码、调制成适于传输的电视信号, 电视信号通过传输通道传输到千家万户。这里,传输通道包括但不限于同轴电缆、卫星微波信道、地面微波信道等。
参见图2所示的流程图,结合图1的框图详细描述发射端侧的处理过程。首先,如步骤S201所示,提供特定数据,特定数据由节目提供商和/或业务运营商提供,是节目提供商和/或业务运营商希望在电视节目播放过程中传输给用户的任何数据,例如,包括但不限于:与节目播放相关的时间、节目预告、节目背景介绍等数据信息,与节目场景相关的广告信息、网站链接代码、内容索引、优惠券代码等。
接着,在步骤S202,将特定数据编码成特定格式,在本示例中,为了作为一种服务信息SI并入MPEG-2 TS流一起传输中,将节目提供商和/或业务运营商提供的特定数据编码成SI数据的格式。
需要说明的是,根据节目提供商和/或业务运营商的具体应用开发以及所应用的软硬件环境,不同类型的特定数据可以采用不同的编码方式,例如,可以直接将特定数据编码成SI信息,也可以通过设置数据库存储特定数据,将相应特定数据的索引编码成SI信息。
接下来,在步骤S203中,将编码后的特定数据复用到待播放的电视节目中;在本示例中,通过带有PSI/SI插入数据接口的复用器按照业界规范(例如,在本实施例中是MPEG-2)将SI信息(包括编码后的特定数据)复用到待播放节目的数据流中,形成MPEG-2 TS流。
最后,在步骤S204中,编码调制并传输MPEG-2 TS流。MPEG-2 TS流经编码调制模块进行相应的编码和调制后,形成适于传输的电视信号,通过传输通道发送。
下面,描述数字电视广播系统中接收端侧的处理。数字电视的接收端侧包括数字机顶盒和用户终端,分别参见图3、图4以及图5、图6进行描述。
图3示出了接收端侧的数字机顶盒的示意性框图。图4示出了数字机顶盒的处理过程。
如图3所示,数字机顶盒包括解调解码模块301、EPG应用程序模块 302、SI数据提取模块303、特定数据解析模块304、发射模块305。
在EPG应用程序模块302控制下,解调解码模块301将通过传输通道接收到的电视信号进行解调、解码,获得MPEG-2 TS流。该MPEG-2 TS流既包括待播放的电视节目的视频流、音频流,也包括在节目播放之前复用到电视节目的数据流中的SI信息,因此,也包括节目提供商和/或业务运营商提供的特定数据。
在EPG应用程序模块302控制下,SI数据提取模块303用于从解调解码后的MPEG-2 TS流中提取出SI数据信息。
特定数据解析模块304用于从所提取的SI数据中解析出特定数据。
发射模块305用于对特定数据进行调制并以无线通信的方式广播调制后的特定数据。这里,无线通信方式可以是WiFi、LED光通信、红外线通信、声波通信等任何无线通信方式。与之相匹配的,如果采用WiFi方式,则发射模块将特定数据调制成WiFi信号广播出去;如果采用红外线通信的方式,发射模块则将特定数据调制成红外线信号广播出去;如果采用声波通信的方式,发射模块可以将特定数据调制成某一频段的数字声波信号通过声学换能器(包括但不限于电磁式扬声器)广播出去。
具体过程如图4所示,在步骤S401,接收通过传输通道传输而来的电视信号。
在步骤S402,对接收到的电视信号进行解调、解码,输出MPEG-2 TS流。
在步骤S403,提取MPEG-2 TS流中的SI信息,SI信息中除了包括电子节目指南所需要的节目列表、播放参数等通常的SI信息外,还包括节目提供商和/或业务运营商提供希望在节目播放过程中传输给用户的特定数据。
在步骤S404,解析SI信息以获取特定数据。
在步骤S405,调制并以无线通信的方式将特定数据广播出去。这里,无线通信方式可以是WiFi、LED光通信、红外线通信、声波通信等任何无线通信方式。
毋庸置疑,根据无线通信方式的不同,发射模块305在执行上述步骤 405时,同样需要根据无线通信方式对特定数据进行编码和调制。类似地,可以直接将特定数据编码调制成无线信号,也可以通过设置数据库存储特定数据而将特定数据的唯一索引号编码调制成相应的无线信号。
图5示出数字电视广播系统中接收端侧的用户终端的示意性框图。图6示出了其处理过程。
如图5所示,用户终端包括接收解调模块501和特定数据应用模块502。
这里,用户终端可以是智能手机、掌上电脑、个人计算机、平板电脑、笔记本电脑等任何具备一定计算能力的智能终端设备。
接收解调模块501用于接收数字机顶盒通过无线通信方式广播的包含有特定数据的无线信号,并将无线信号中的特定数据解调并输出。
因此,接收解调模块501使用的接收方式与数字机顶盒的广播特定数据的方式相匹配。即,接收解调模块501支持数字机顶盒的无线通信方式。例如,如果数字机顶盒的发射模块使用WiFi方式发射WiFi信号,用户终端的接收解调模块501则采用与之匹配的无线信号接收模块,接收WiFi信号;如果数字机顶盒的发射模块采用声波通信的方式,则用户终端的接收模块501可以是麦克风,用以接收并解调声波信号,输出特定数据。
特定数据应用模块502用于响应于触发信号将接收解调模块501输出的特定数据处理成可供用户终端呈现出来的数据。例如,如果特定数据是一个图像格式的优惠信息,则特定数据应用模块502将该图片呈现在用户终端的显示屏上;如果接收解调模块501输出的是一个索引,则特定数据应用模块502将根据索引在数据库中查找索引所对应的信息,例如是一个网站链接,并将链接呈现给用户终端,用户进一步通过点击链接可以访问网站。
这里,触发信号是指用户的主动触发,包括但不限于,通过按下开关按钮、语音命令输入、手势指令输入来启动该应用程序。
通常情况下,接收解调模块501可以处于关闭状态。可替换地,特定数据应用模块502可以处于关闭状态,这样,即使接收解调模块501打开且解调出特定数据,但特定数据应用模块502处于关闭状态,并不做进一 步的处理或响应,而是仅在需要的时候响应于用户的触发才进行下一步处理。
具体过程如图6所示,在步骤S601,接收数字机顶盒广播的无线信号。这里,无线信号可以是WiFi信号、红外线信号、光信号、声波信号。
在步骤S602,对接收到的无线信号进行解调,以获得特定数据。
在步骤S603,在需要的时候,触发并呈现出特定数据。
进一步地,对于某些类型的特定数据,还可以在步骤S604中将特定数据直接用于网络浏览器,完成购买和预定。
下面,以在电视上播放某一电影并将电影中演员服装的相关信息传输给用户为例,来描述本发明的数据传输方案。
在某电影的节目提供商授权在电视台播放该电影时,希望向用户呈现电影中演员们的服装信息,例如是出售服装的网站。
基于此,首先,将出售服装的网站链接存储在数据库中,并分配和/或指定一个唯一的索引号或者标记。
然后,将该索引号编码成SI信息。在电视台播放该电影时,复用器按照时间顺序将SI信息与电影的TS流进行复用,形成复合的TS流。复合的TS流经编码调制,形成电视信号,通过传输通道广播出去。
在用户侧,用户打开电视和机顶盒,观看这个电影的时候,机顶盒接收电视信号,通过解调解码,获得该电影的TS流。进一步地,作为特定数据的网站链接的索引号被进一步解析出来。
利用正交相移编码(QPSK,Quadrature Phase Shift Keying)、移频键控(FSK,Frequency Shift Keying)和/或正交幅度调制(QAM,Quadrature Amplitude Modulation)等调制方式将解析出来的索引号编码调制成18kHz-20kHz的声波信号,通过机顶盒外插的电磁式扬声器发射出去。
当用户在观看电影的过程中,对某个演员的服装感兴趣时,可以打开用户终端(例如,智能手机)中的特定数据应用模块(例如,是一个客户端应用程序),通过智能手机内置的麦克风接收声波信号,并解调索引号,在数据库中查找索引号对应的特定数据,即出售网址,进一步地,特定数 据应用模块将网址直接用于网络浏览器,用户就可以在智能手机上浏览该网页,根据网页提供的内容还可以进一步完成预定和/或购买。
通过以上实施例可见,本发明的方案是一种由用户主导的数据信息传递方式,在基本上不改动现有数字电视广播系统的基础上,有效地利用数字电视广播系统在播放电视信号过程中的传输流来传输信息,并且以合理、舒适的方式使用户可以接收到数据,同时不影响用户的观感。
以上所述的具体实施方式是用于帮助理解本发明的目的、技术方案和有益效果,应理解的是,以上所述仅为本发明的具体实施方式而已,并不用于限定本发明的保护范围,凡在本发明的精神和原则之内,所做的任何修改、等同替换、改进等,均应包含在本发明的保护范围之内。

Claims (10)

  1. 一种在数字电视广播中传输特定数据的方法,其特征在于,该方法包括:
    从数字电视广播节目的传输流中提取服务信息数据;
    解析出所述服务信息数据中的特定数据,所述特定数据是节目提供商/业务运营商提供的,并按照服务信息数据的格式预先编码在所述服务信息数据中;以及
    对所述特定数据进行编码调制并以无线通信方式对编码调制后的信号进行广播。
  2. 如权利要求1所述的方法,其特征在于,在提取服务信息数据之前,该方法进一步包括:
    在数据库中存储特定数据,并给特定数据分配唯一索引号;
    将所述索引号编码在所述服务信息数据中;以及
    将编码有索引号的服务信息数据与将要播放的数据电视广播节目复用在一起,形成传输流。
  3. 如权利要求1所述的方法,其特征在于,所述方法进一步包括:
    接收并解调广播的信号,以获得特定数据;
    呈现所述特定数据。
  4. 如权利要求1所述的方法,其特征在于,对所述特定数据进行编码调制包括:
    采用QPSK、FSK和/或QAM的调制方式将所述特定数据编码调制成无线信号。
  5. 如权利要求1所述的方法,其特征在于,所述无线通信方式是下列通信方式之一:WiFi、LED光通信、红外线、声波通信。
  6. 一种在数字电视广播中传输特定数据的装置,其特征在于,该装置包括:
    EPG应用程序模块,用于控制解调解码模块将接收到的电视信号解调、解码,以获得传输流,并控制服务信息数据提取模块从传输流中提取服务信息数据;
    特定数据解析模块,用于从服务信息数据中解析出特定数据,其中,所述特定数据是节目提供商/业务运营商提供的,并按照服务信息数据的格式预先编码在所述服务信息数据中;
    发射模块,用于对特定数据进行调制并以无线通信方式广播调制后的特定数据。
  7. 如权利要求6所述的装置,其特征在于,所述发射模块采用QPSK、FSK和/或QAM的调制方式将所述特定数据编码调制成无线信号。
  8. 如权利要求6所述的装置,其特征在于,所述发射模块采用的无线通信方式是下列通信方式之一:WiFi、LED光通信、红外线、声波通信。
  9. 一种接收数字电视广播中传输的特定数据的终端,其特征在于,该终端包括:
    接收解调模块,用于接收通过无线通信方式广播的包含有特定数据的无线信号,并将所述无线信号中的特定数据解调和输出,其中,所述特定数据是节目提供商/业务运营商提供的,并预先编码在与数字电视广播的传输流复用在一起的服务信息数据中;以及
    特定数据应用模块,用于响应于触发信号呈现所述接收解调模块所输出的特定数据。
  10. 如权利要求9所述的终端,其特征在于,所述终端是智能手机、平板电脑、个人计算机或笔记本电脑。
