Abstract
A number recognition method and system for a monitoring system. The method comprises the following steps: obtaining image data captured by a camera (101), wherein the image data comprises a picture of an LED lamp; performing pixel analysis on the picture of the LED lamp in the image data to obtain the color of the LED lamp (102); and recognizing the number of a building according to the color of the LED lamp (103).
