  • the lower part 22 of the cosmetic container 20 comprises a base 25 forming a bottom disc, having a tray 29 and an internal raised edge 30 of a similar shape as the peripheral edge 4 of the cup 2 of the refill 1 so as to hold the cup 2, once the cup 2 is positioned into place.
  • the raised edge 30 defines, together with a central portion of the tray 29 bordered by the raised edge 30 and the intermediary ring 24, a housing 31 for the cup 2.
  • the height of the raised edge 30 is lower than a height of the peripheral edge 4 of the cup 2, so that the cup is reachable by a user when the user wants to change the refill.
  • This reachable portion of the peripheral edge 4 when the refill is in place in the container constitutes gripping means of the cup 2.
  • the tray 29 has an external shape similar to the one of the peripheral skirt 36 of the intermediate ring 24, so as to be entirely surrounded by the peripheral skirt 36 of the intermediate ring 24, as can be seen in figure 6.
  • the intermediate ring 24 is attached to the lid 23 by a hinge. Rotation of the lid 23 relative to the intermediate ring 24 moves the container 20 between an open and a closed configuration.
  • the intermediate ring 24 comprises several, in this example three, first snap-in tabs 27 and the base 25 comprises the same number of corresponding second snap-in tabs 28 so as to attach in a removable manner the intermediate ring 24 and the base 25.
  • the cosmetic container 20 may be closed as shown in figure 6.
  • the base 25 is shown in isolation, without the cup 2, in figure 5.
  • One of the first snap-in tabs 27 and/or one of the corresponding second snap-in tab 28 form (s) a locking element 33 such as a flexible button or a pushbutton that the user can actuate for unfastening the base 25 and the intermediate ring 24, as shown by the arrow in figure 6.
  • the locking element 33 is formed on and reachable at a lateral part of the cosmetic container 20.
  • the base forms substantially the whole bottom part of the cosmetic container 20. The base has no through-opening through which the product is inserted.
  • a user can implement the following steps. These steps may be printed, forming instructions 9, on the upper face 8 of the multilayer barrier film 6.
  • the user may first open the cosmetic container, in this embodiment by removing the base from the remainder of the container, i.e. from the body of the container, by pushing the locking element 33 as shown in figure 6. Then, he places the refill 1 in the base 25, in this example in the raised edge of the tray 29. The user removes the multilayer barrier film 6 from the refill 1. The removal of the multilayer barrier film 6 may be implemented before placing the refill 1 on the base 25.
  • a further step may consist in closing the cosmetic container by engaging the intermediate ring 24 on the base 25 together with the corresponding snap-in tabs 27 and 28.
  • the cosmetic container may be used by opening and then tightly closing the lid, pivoting the lid 23 around the hinge relative to the intermediate ring 24.
  • the refill 1 may be simply removed by pulling the peripheral edge 4 of the cup 2 after removing the base from the body. A new refill may then be placed, as described above. The removal of the refill is easy as the user may grip the refill by the surface of the edge 4 extending outside the raised edge 30.
  • the cosmetic container 20 is configured for housing a cosmetic applicator 40.
  • the cosmetic applicator 40 may be a puff. It has an application lower surface 55, which is opposite to the upper surface 56 shown in the figures 7 and 8.
  • the upper surface 56 comprises, in this example, a grip strip 57.
  • the cosmetic container 20 has a circular shape in this example. Furthermore, a mirror 41 is housed in the inside part of the lid 23 so that the user can see his/her face when opening the lid 23.
  • the locking element 33 is formed on the peripheral skirt 36 of the intermediate ring 24.
  • This locking element 33 is also used, in this example for locking the lid 23 of the cosmetic container 20.
  • the lid 23 comprises a locking tab 45 protruding from the peripheral skirt 37, and the locking element 33 has a corresponding slot 46 for housing and locking the locking tab 45.
  • the cosmetic container 20 comprises an intermediate lid 42, linked to the upper surface 39 of the intermediate ring 24 by a hinge 43.
  • the intermediate lid 42 is used for bearing the cosmetic applicator 40 without any contact with the cosmetic product P.
  • the intermediate lid 42 also comprises, in this example, a locking tab 50 and the upper surface 39 of the intermediate ring 24 comprises a corresponding slot 51 for receiving the locking tab 50 and thus holding the intermediate lid 42 in place when not used.

  • the cup 2 of the refill is provided with ears 48 constituting gripping means for catching the cup 2 easier so as to place or remove it.
  • the ears 48 are formed on an upper portion of the peripheral edge 4, as shown. These ears are easily reachable when the base is separated from the body of the container.
  • the cup 2 also comprises an internal annular retaining ring 58 in this example, for limiting the movement of the cosmetic product, for example of the porous impregnation member impregnated with the cosmetic product.
  • the annular ring 58 may not be present, in some embodiments, if not necessary to keep the cosmetic product in the refill.

  • the supplemental layer could be different from a metal layer without departing from the scope of the invention.

Abstract

Le récipient cosmétique (20) comprend au moins un corps, une base (25) ayant un plateau (29) destiné à recevoir la recharge (1), au moins un élément de verrouillage (33) destiné à maintenir la base (25) sur le corps, et un couvercle (23). Le plateau (29) est configuré de telle sorte que des moyens de préhension de la recharge (1) peuvent être atteints lorsque la recharge (1) est logée dans le plateau (29). L'élément de blocage (33) peut être actionné par un utilisateur pour libérer la base (25) du corps.
