Definitions

  • the present disclosure relates to an injection control device that controls a fuel injection valve driven by electric power.
  • the internal combustion engine is provided with a fuel injection valve for injecting fuel for each cylinder.
  • a fuel injection valve for injecting fuel for each cylinder.
  • the fuel injection valve one having a solenoid and a movable core is common.
  • the fuel injection valve is switched between opening and closing when the internal valve body moves integrally with the movable core.
  • the injection control device controls the fuel injection valve so that the fuel injection amount of the fuel injection valve (that is, the amount of fuel injected between the opening and closing of the fuel injection valve) matches the target value. .
  • the fuel injection valve opening time is adjusted by adjusting the length of time for supplying the drive current to the fuel injection valve, the magnitude of the drive current, etc., and the fuel injection amount matches the target value
  • the fuel injection amount of each fuel injection valve may vary due to individual differences or deterioration of the fuel injection valves, ambient temperature, and the like. For this reason, it is necessary to adjust the length of time for supplying the driving current, and to reduce the deviation of the fuel injection amount of each fuel injection valve. In order to control the actual fuel injection amount, it is necessary to detect the start and end of the movement of the valve body in the opening operation of the fuel injection valve.
  • the start of movement of the valve element is detected based on a change in the drive current supplied to the fuel injection valve. Specifically, first, when the movable core moves together with the valve body, the inductance changes, so that the drive current changes.
  • the control device described in Patent Document 1 below differentiates this driving current with respect to time and detects the start of movement of the movable core based on the differentiated value.
  • ⁇ Noise may occur in the drive current supplied to the fuel injection valve due to various factors. For this reason, in the case of using a value obtained by differentiating the driving current with respect to time as in the control device described in Patent Document 1, there is a possibility that the influence of noise is greatly affected. As a result, it has been difficult to accurately detect the state of the movable core of the fuel injection valve.
  • An object of the present disclosure is to provide an injection control device that is capable of accurately detecting the state of a movable core even when applied to a fuel injection valve that is not easily affected by noise and has a small inductance change.
  • the injection control device controls a fuel injection valve that is driven by electric power.
  • the injection control device includes a current detection unit that detects a driving current supplied to the solenoid of the fuel injection valve, and a theoretical model of the driving current in a state where the movable core that is moved by the electromagnetic force generated by the solenoid is stationary.
  • An identification unit for identification and a state detection unit for detecting the state of the movable core are provided.
  • the state detection unit detects the state of the movable core based on the deviation between the driving current detected by the current detection unit and the theoretical model.
  • the theoretical model of the drive current is a model of the drive current when the movable core is stationary.
  • the state of the movable core is detected based on the deviation between the actual driving current detected by the current detection unit and the theoretical model. Therefore, it is possible to make it less susceptible to noise generated in the driving current, compared to the case where the state of the movable core is detected based on the value obtained by differentiating the driving current with respect to time. Furthermore, even when the injection control device according to the present disclosure is applied to a fuel injection valve having a small change in inductance, it is possible to accurately detect the state of the movable core.

Figure JPOXMLDOC01-appb-M000001
