Server is a light weight IM server, supports authentication of client and smart home robot; client is the IM client installed to the user's mobile smart terminal, user will manage smart home components from here; smart home robot is an IM client and control application, able to interact with client and managed by user. The significance of the invention is: based on the flexibility of IM channel, user is able to manage smart home with a personal touch, improve the interactive experience of user towards smart home via Peer-to-peer(P2P)message or group message.

Title: A type of smart home robot system based on Instant Messaging(IM) Technical Field This invention is classified as messaging technology involving the integration of EVI and smart home appliances, especially in personalized network interaction by utilizing EVI channel and smart home appliances.
Background Art
The concept, methods, technologies and products of EVI robot arise in IM network field, mainly to assist human to process part of the information. For example, In e- commerce or information service website, the EVI robot is bind with the EVI server, will automatically answer the queries based on the frequently asked questions(FAQ)list, providing product information or consultation service. The EVI robot bind with EVI user client is equivalent to EVI secretary of the personal user, able to process simple messages.
The concept, methods, technologies and products of smart home robot arise in smart home appliance field, it is mainly a hardware or a module in home appliances, utilized for managing smart home appliances, but this method of management still remain in the command type of control, interaction message is very simple.
In the next 5 years, human will enter the smart home era, smart home robot will become part of the family as a member. In light with the development of mobile internet, the personalized interaction with smart home robot based on EVI channel is undoubtedly very efficient, highly effective and full of imagination.
Nevertheless at present moment, with regards to the integration of EVI and smart home robot in terms of the relevant patent, press release, method, technologies and product.

The diagrams showed 2 smart home networks, representing 2 typical deployment scenarios, consisting a smart home network at home, and another smart home network at the office.
User 1 accessed both smart home networks at the same time:
(1) User 1 and a family User 2 at the smart home system (home), can create a EVI group to manage interaction with smart home appliances like internet television, washing machine, lighting, air-conditioning and more. For example, the child can specifically create an EVI group with the internet television that he/she has exclusive access, then the internet television will remind him/her to turn on the television for
certain learning programme; the child can also inform the television when school has activity, so not going to watch television.
(2) User 1 and colleague User 3 and User 4 are at the smart home network (Office), they can create a IM group to manage interaction with smart home appliances like security surveillance system, lighting, air-conditioning and more, as well as creating different FM groups according to the types and quantity of smart home appliances in the office to manage interactions. For example, security guard can create an FM group for security surveillance system.

For example, the internet surveillance camera will send video of abnormality to user and inform the user via messages.

1. A type of smart home robot system based on Instant Messaging(IM) including servers, client and smart home robot.
Server is a light weight EVI server, supports authentication of client and smart home robot.
Client is the EVI client installed to the user's mobile smart terminal, user will manage smart home components from here;
Smart home robot is an EVI client and control application, able to interact with client and managed by user. Server, client and smart home robot connected through wireless LAN and internet, client and smart robot have Peer-to-Peer(P2P)or group chat, allowing user to manage smart home appliances via interaction, text, audio and video messages.
