Definitions
- the present invention relates to a head mounted electronic device, and more particularly to a headset and a display portion relatively rotatable head mounted electronic device.
- the head mounted electronic device is a near-eye display device that produces an image and projects it toward the user's eyes, thereby allowing the user to see the magnified virtual image, thereby obtaining a larger area display effect.
- the audio of most of the existing head-mounted electronic devices is transmitted to the user through the earphones provided thereon, but the acoustic effect obtained by the user from the earplugs is relatively general. Therefore, for this point, some products also provide a headphone interface for the user to match the desired headphone with better sound. However, this method is more troublesome to wear, and it is more inconvenient to carry it in a separate manner.
- embodiments of the present invention provide a head mounted electronic device having a relatively rotatable headset and a display portion.
- a head mounted electronic device includes a headset and a display portion.
- the headset comprises an elastic band, C-shaped and has two connecting ends; two movable members, each of which is rotatably connected to a corresponding connecting end about a first axis; and two sounders, one for each The second axis is rotatably coupled to a corresponding one of the movable members.
- the display portion includes a body for generating and projecting an image outwardly, and two connectors coupled to opposite ends of the body and rotatably coupled to a corresponding one of the sounders about a third axis.
- the sounder is subjected to the display part during the rotation around the third axis
- the rotation is forced about the first axis and the second axis, thereby avoiding distortion of the elastic band and the connecting member, and also rotating the display portion to a position substantially overlapping the headphone.
- FIG. 1 is a schematic structural diagram of a head mounted electronic device according to an embodiment of the present invention, wherein a headset and a display portion are in an unfolded state.
- FIG. 2 is an exploded perspective view of a portion of the head mounted electronic device of FIG. 1.

- the first slider 25b is away from a first protrusion 25c extending outward from the side of the covering portion 25a, and is also partially slidable out of the covering portion 25a.
- the stud 25c defines a first axis 25d.
- the arrangement of the first slider 25b allows the user to adjust the distance between the elastic band 24 and the sounder 22.
- the first slider 25b may not necessarily be provided when the elastic band 24 can be stretched or the distance between the elastic band 24 and the sounder 22 need not be adjusted.
- Each movable member 26 is rotatably coupled to a corresponding one of the connecting ends 25 about the first axis 25d so that the first axis 25d can be rotated on the connecting end 25 as a rotating shaft.
- the movable member 26 is substantially arcuate, and includes an arcuate body 26a, a first recessed hole 26b recessed inwardly from the end of the body 26a adjacent to the connecting end 25, and a sounding from the other end of the body 26a.
- the second protrusion 26c extends in the direction of the device 22. Please refer to FIG. 3 and FIG. 4 again, and the second protrusion 26c is A protrusion 26e protrudes from the side.
- the stop structure 28 is secured to the sounder 22 and to the movable member 26 for limiting the angle of rotation of the movable member 26 about the second axis 26d relative to the sounder 22.
- the limiting structure 28 is provided with a receiving hole 28a sized to match the second protrusion 26c, a curved surface 28b for receiving the second protruding post 26c, and two opposite ends respectively located at the curved surface 28b.

- the accommodating hole 28a functions to restrict the sway of the second boss 26c.
- the arc between the opposite faces 28c of the curved faces 28b is the range in which the second studs 26c are rotatable.
- the second stud 26c is made of metal;
- the limiting structure 28 includes a first portion 28d made of metal and having the above-mentioned receiving hole 28a, and an arc made of rubber.
- the second portion 28e of the face 28b, the curved surface 28b is fitted to the second boss 26c.
- the second portion 28e made of rubber is transferred to the first portion 28d, and the arrangement of the second portion 28e increases the resistance of the rotation of the second stud 26c, preventing the movable member 26 from being easily shaken.
- the first stud 25c is inserted into the first recessed hole 26b and is locked therein by the limiting structure 28, so that the first stud 25c can be rotated in the first through hole 25a.
- each of the sound generators 22 is rotatably coupled to a corresponding one of the movable members 26 about a second axis 26d so that the second axis 26d can be rotated on the movable member 26 as a rotating shaft.
- each of the sound generators 22 includes an inner wall 22a for transmitting sound, an opposite outer wall 22b, and a side wall 22c extending from the edge of the outer wall 22b toward the inner wall 22a.
- the outer wall 22b and the side wall 22c enclose a cavity (not shown), and a horn (not shown) of the sound generator 22 is received in the cavity and the sound emitting side faces the inner wall 22a.
- a second through hole 22d is defined in the side wall 22c.
- the second protrusion 26c is inserted into the second through hole 22d, extends and is locked in the cavity, so that the sounder 22 can be rotated around the second protrusion 26c, that is, the second protrusion 26c defines the second Axis 26d.
- a first angle ⁇ is interposed between the second axis 26d and the first axis 25d.
- the sounder 22 and the movable member 26 are rotatable about the first axis 25d, and the sounder 22 is also rotatable about the second axis 26d, thereby enabling the movable member 26 to achieve multi-dimensional rotation.
- the above-mentioned studs 25c, 26c The arrangement of the grooves 26b, 22d can also be reversed.
- the movable member has a first protrusion 25c and two first grooves 26b open on the connecting end 25.
- the display portion 40 includes a main body 42 and two connecting members 44.
- the body 42 is used to create and project an image outward.
- the main body 42 is provided with an image generating device and an optical module (not shown), and the image generated by the image generating device is projected by the optical module in a predetermined direction.
- An adjustment mechanism (not shown) may be disposed on the main body 42 for adjusting the distance between the image generating device and the optical module to adapt to the user of myopia or hyperopia.
- the adjustment mechanism can also be used to adjust the distance between the combination of the image-generating device and the optical module to accommodate the user's interpupillary distance.
- Two connectors 44 are coupled to opposite ends of the body 42 and are rotatably coupled to a respective one of the sounders 22 about a third axis 22e.
- the third axis 22e extends from the outer wall 22b of the sounder 22 toward the inner wall 22a thereof, such that the display portion 40 can be rotated to a position separate from the headset 20, as shown in FIG. 1, and a position in which the two substantially overlap.
- the side wall 22c of the sound generator 22 is a cylindrical wall, and one end of the connecting member 44 near the sound generator 22 is provided with a ring 44a.
- the ring 44a also has a cylindrical wall coupled to the card member 44b via the latching member 44b.
- the side wall 22c of the sound generator 22, the ring 44a is thus rotatable about the central axis of the side wall 22c.
- the side wall 22c of the sound generator 22 defines the third axis 22e described above.
- the third axis 22e is now substantially perpendicular to the corresponding first axis 25d and/or second axis 26d.
- FIG. 1 When the head mounted electronic device 10 is assembled and in a usable state, under the action of no external force, a schematic view thereof is shown in FIG. 1, and the display portion 40 is rotatable to a position substantially at 90 degrees with the headset 20. It must be pointed out that the 90 degree here is only an example, and the different wearing habits of the user may change the angle, such as 70 degrees, 80 degrees or 100 degrees.
- the ends of the two sound generators 22 away from the elastic band 24 are inclined toward each other as shown in FIG. 5, and thus a second angle ⁇ is interposed between the third axes 22e of the respective sound generators 22. Set the tilt (ie the first The two angles ⁇ ) allow the sounder 22 to fit the ear more.
- the display portion 40 when the display portion 40 needs to be rotated to substantially overlap with the headset 20, the display portion 40 will rotate in the upward direction in FIG. Since the third axis 22e is inclined with respect to the horizontal direction of FIG. 5, and the body 42 is not stretchable, during the upward rotation of the display portion 40, it will force the sounder 22 on the right side of FIGS. 1, 5 to be reversed about the second axis 26d.
- the hour hand direction (as indicated by the arrow on the second axis 26d of FIG. 1) is rotated, that is, the side of the right sounder 22 near the first recessed hole 26b is rotated toward the other sounder 22, and the other sounder is rotated.
- the direction is reversed; at the same time, the upward rotation of the display portion 40 forces the sounder 22 and the movable member 26 on the right side of FIGS. 1, 5 to rotate about the first axis 25d along the arrow indicated thereon, that is, the sounder 22 is adjacent to the second boss 26c. One side rotates away from the other sounder 22.
- the sounder 22 is more closely attached to the ear, thereby giving the user a better audio effect.
- the third axis 22e is no longer horizontally disposed, that is, the two third axes 22e are not collinear but have an included angle, the process of the relative rotation of the display portion 40 to the headphone 20 becomes complicated. If the elastic band 24 is directly fixed to the sounder 22 at this time, that is, the movable member 26 is omitted, the elastic band 24 and the connecting member 44 will be distorted when rotated.
- the rotation of the sounder 22 along the above two dimensions allows the sounder 22 to be forced by the display portion 40 during the above-mentioned rotation to wrap around the first axis 25d and The two axes 26d are rotated, thereby preventing the elastic band 24 and the connecting member 44 from being twisted.
- the setting of the limiting structure 28, while allowing the movable member 26 to rotate, also limits the range of rotation thereof, so that the movable member 26 cannot move to a position where it rubs against the side wall 22c or the ring 44a, thereby avoiding the inter-components. Mutual wear and tear.
- the body 26a of the movable member 26 extends substantially 1/4 of the circumference, that is, the first angle ⁇ is approximately 90 degrees.
- the first angle ⁇ is not Limited to 90 degrees.
- the first angle is greater than 30 degrees and less than 150 degrees, or greater than 210 degrees and less than 330 degrees, at which time the length of the body 26a may vary.
- the second angle ⁇ is approximately 150 degrees when the head-mounted electronic device 10 is not subjected to an external force. However, it can be understood that the angle can also be changed for different people, as long as it fits the ear better.
- the second angle ⁇ is preferably greater than 100 degrees and less than 170 degrees.
- each connector 44 is translatably coupled to the body 42 or the squeaker 22 so as to be movable to a first position proximate the body 42 or the squeaker 22 and a second position remote from the body 42 or the squeaker 22.
- the connecting member 44 is movably and movably coupled to the main body 42 as an example.
- the display portion 40 further includes a support member 46 extending outward from opposite ends of the main body 42.
- the connecting member 44 is slidably supported.
- the member 46 is coupled such that the body 42 can be near or away from the sounder 22.
- the manner in which the connecting member 44 is movably and movably coupled to the sounder 22 is similar to the structural connection principle of the above-described manner and will not be described again.
- first and second are used for descriptive purposes only, and are not to be construed as indicating or implying a relative importance or implicitly indicating the number of technical features indicated. Thus, features defining “first” or “second” may include one or more of the described features either explicitly or implicitly. In the description of the present invention, the meaning of "a plurality" is two or more unless specifically and specifically defined otherwise.
