Definitions
- the present invention relates to a user terminal, a radio base station, and a radio communication method in a next-generation mobile communication system.
- LTE Long Term Evolution
- 5G 5th generation mobile communication system
- LTE of 8 to 12 the specification was performed on the assumption that exclusive operation is performed in a frequency band licensed by a provider, that is, a licensed band. For example, 800 MHz, 2 GHz, or 1.7 GHz is used as the license band.
- Non-patent document 2 The spread of highly functional user terminals / user devices (UE: User Equipment) such as smartphones and tablets has rapidly increased user traffic. In order to absorb this increasing user traffic, it is necessary to add an additional frequency band, but the spectrum of the license band is limited. For this reason, extending the frequency of the LTE system using an unlicensed spectrum band (this is called an unlicensed band) that is available in addition to the license band is being considered ( Non-patent document 2).
- UE User Equipment
- the unlicensed band for example, the same 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz band as Wi-Fi (registered trademark) is used. Rel. In 13 LTE, it is considered to perform carrier aggregation (CA) between licensed and unlicensed bands. Communication performed using the unlicensed band together with the license band is referred to as LAA (License-Assisted Access). In the future, licensed and unlicensed band dual connectivity (DC) and unlicensed band stand-alone may also be considered for LAA.

- Wi-Fi registered trademark
- an interference control function is required.
- Wi-Fi implements a function called LBT (Listen Before Talk) based on CCA.
- LBT Listen Before Talk
- the LBT function is stipulated as essential in a system such as Wi-Fi that operates in the 5 GHz band unlicensed band.
- interference between LAA and Wi-Fi, interference between LAA systems, etc. can be avoided. Moreover, even if it is a case where control of the user terminal which can be connected is performed independently for every operator who operates a LAA system, interference can be reduced without grasping
- listening means that a signal exceeding a predetermined level (for example, predetermined power) is transmitted from another transmission point or the like before a certain transmission point (for example, a radio base station, a user terminal, or the like) transmits a signal.
- a predetermined level for example, predetermined power
- the listening performed by the radio base station and / or user terminal is also called LBT (Listen Before Talk), CCA (Clear Channel Assessment), carrier sense, or the like.
- a transmission point (LTE-U base station and / or user terminal) listens (LBT, CCA) before transmitting an UL signal and / or DL signal in an unlicensed band. Do. If no signal is detected from another system (for example, Wi-Fi) or another LAA transmission point, communication can be performed in an unlicensed band.
- the transmission point determines that the channel is in an idle state (LBT-idle) and performs transmission.
- the channel is idle means that the channel is not occupied by a specific system, and the channel is idle, the channel is clear, the channel is free, and the like.
- the transmission point determines that the channel is busy (LBT-busy) and restricts transmission. For example, if it is determined as a result of the listening that it is LBT-busy, (1) transit to another carrier by DFS (Dynamic Frequency Selection), (2) perform transmission power control (TPC), (3) transmit Such as not performing transmission (stopping transmission or waiting).
- DFS Dynamic Frequency Selection
- TPC transmission power control
- the channel can be used only after performing LBT again and confirming that the channel is free. Note that the method of determining whether the channel is free / busy by LBT is not limited to this.
- a user terminal that communicates using an unlicensed band carrier detects another entity (such as another user terminal) that is communicating with the unlicensed band carrier.
- another entity such as another user terminal
- the user terminal executes LBT at a timing before a predetermined period before the transmission timing.
- the user terminal that performs LBT searches the entire band of the target carrier at a timing before a predetermined period before the transmission timing, and other devices (wireless base station, LAA-UE, Wi-Fi device, etc.) It is confirmed whether or not communication is performed in the band. Only when it is confirmed that communication is not being performed, transmission is performed using the carrier.
- the user terminal stops its own transmission.
- the channel is considered to be busy (LBT-busy). If the received signal power during the LBT period is lower than a predetermined threshold, the channel is considered idle (LBT-idle).
- LBT Low-Based Equipment
- FBE Full-Based Equipment
- initial CCA is performed. If LBT-idle, transmission is started. If LBT-busy, ECCA (Extended CCA) procedure is performed. That is, LBE is a mechanism that extends carrier sense time when a channel is unusable as a result of carrier sense, and continuously performs carrier sense until the channel becomes usable. In LBE, a random back-off is necessary for proper collision avoidance.
- carrier sense is performed at a fixed timing and a fixed cycle. If LBT-idle, transmission is started, and if LBT-busy, it waits until the next carrier sense timing.
- the FBE has a fixed frame period, and as a result of performing carrier sense in a predetermined frame, if the channel is usable, transmission is performed, but if the channel is unusable, until the carrier sense timing in the next frame It is a mechanism that waits without sending.
- FIG. 1 is a diagram illustrating an example of a radio frame configuration in LBT.
- FIG. 1A shows an example of a radio frame configuration of FBE.
- the LBT time (LBT duration) and the LBT cycle are fixed, and the LBT is performed with a predetermined number of symbols (for example, 1 to 3 symbols) and a cycle (for example, every 1 ms).
- FIG. 1B shows an example of a radio frame configuration of LBE.
- the LBT time is not fixed.
- the LBT symbol may be continued until a predetermined condition is satisfied.
- the radio base station may continue the LBT until the LBT-idle is observed.
- the present embodiment can be preferably applied to LBE that controls UL transmission by continuously performing carrier sense until a channel becomes usable, but is not limited thereto.
- DL-LBT DL transmission listening
- the radio base station is allowed to perform signal transmission (DL burst transmission) with the LBT omitted for a predetermined period.
- DL burst transmission DL burst transmission
- a period in which transmission is possible without performing LBT after listening is a burst period (burst transmission period, burst length, maximum burst length, maximum allowable burst length, maximum burst length ).
- UL burst transmission can be performed in accordance with the listening (UL-LBT) result in the same manner as DL.
- DL burst transmission and UL burst transmission can be scheduled by time division multiplexing (TDM).
- TDM time division multiplexing
- the arrangement pattern of DL subframes and UL subframes is fixedly set (see FIG. 3A).
- DL / UL LAA it is assumed that DL burst transmission and UL burst transmission are not fixed and transmission is controlled by flexible time multiplexing (see FIG. 3B).
- the transmission start timing determined based on the listening result is not necessarily a subframe boundary.
- the subframe corresponds to a transmission time interval (TTI).
- a plurality of transmission forms are conceivable as DL transmission when only a part of the OFDM symbols of a subframe can be used.
- DL transmission includes transmission of DL data (for example, PUSCH), DL control information, a reference signal, and the like.
- DL data for example, PUSCH
- DL control information for example, PUSCH
- reference signal for example, PUSCH
- a partial TTI approach Partial TTI approach
- Floating TTI approach floating TTI approach
- Super TTI approach super TTI approach
- the partial TTI approach constructs DL data allocation (transport block) using some OFDM symbols within a single subframe. For example, when DL transmission is started from the middle of a subframe according to a listening result, DL data (for example, PDSCH) or a control signal (for example, PDCCH and / or EPDCCH) using a part of OFDM symbols up to the boundary of the next subframe. ).
- DL data for example, PDSCH
- a control signal for example, PDCCH and / or EPDCCH
- DL data allocation (transport block) is configured in units of TTI (eg, 1 ms length) from the transmission start timing based on the listening result. For example, when transmission is started in the middle of subframe n, DL transmission is controlled in units of TTI including the next subframe n + 1. In this case, DL transmission is performed by configuring 1 TTI with a part of OFDM symbols in subframe n and a part of OFDM symbols in subframe n + 1.
- DL data allocation (transport block) is configured using OFDM symbols including the entire next subframe in addition to the transmission start timing subframe. For example, when transmission starts in the middle of subframe n, DL transmission is controlled by using a part of OFDM symbols of the subframe n and all OFDM symbols of the next subframe n + 1 as one transport block.
- the transport block size can be constant even if the transmission timing based on the listening result changes. For this reason, when the DL signal is retransmitted, it is possible to reduce restrictions such as timing at the time of retransmission. Further, in the floating TTI, the TTI length is constant regardless of the transmission start timing (the number of available OFDM symbols), so that it is possible to reduce the signal transmission pattern prepared in advance on the transmission side. In addition, it is possible to set the configuration of the reference signal, control channel, and the like included in the TTI as in the existing system (set the signal configuration in 1 TTI as in the existing).
- the user terminal controls UL transmission based on the UL transmission instruction (for example, UL grant) from the radio base station and the listening result.
- the UL transmission method for example, UL transmission timing
- UL transmission may not be performed properly depending on the listening result.
- the user terminal performs UL transmission in a subframe at a predetermined timing (for example, after 4 ms) after receiving the UL transmission instruction transmitted from the radio base station (see FIG. 5A).
- a predetermined timing for example, after 4 ms
- the user terminal should listen immediately before the target subframe (subframe after 4 ms) instructed by the UL transmission instruction and do not perform UL transmission other than the instructed subframe. Can be considered.
- the present inventors when transmission of a DL signal and / or UL signal is allowed from the middle of a subframe, within a predetermined period (for example, after the first period after the user terminal receives a UL transmission instruction).
- the idea was to control the transmission of the UL signal within the set second period).
- the user terminal can appropriately control the timing of UL transmission.
- the user terminal can flexibly control UL transmission according to a listening result performed before UL transmission.
- the present inventors have conceived of controlling the TTI configuration for transmitting a UL signal when performing UL transmission from the middle of a subframe based on the result of listening.
- the idea was to place an initial signal including a preamble at the beginning of the UL TTI to control transmission.
- a frequency carrier in which listening (LBT) is not set is described as a license band
- a carrier in which listening is set is described as an unlicensed band
- This embodiment can be applied to any frequency carrier (or cell) for which listening is set regardless of the license band or the unlicensed band.
- listening is applied in the LTE / LTE-A system, but the present embodiment is not limited to this. Any system that applies listening before signal transmission and controls UL transmission (for example, transmission timing) based on an instruction from another transmission point (for example, a radio base station) can be applied.
- UL transmission for example, transmission timing
- another transmission point for example, a radio base station
- UL transmission transmission control of UL data (for example, PUSCH) is shown based on a UL transmission instruction (UL grant) notified from a radio base station, but this embodiment is not limited to this. I can't. It can also be applied to other UL transmissions (eg, ACK / NACK feedback, aperiodic channel state information (A-CSI) feedback, aperiodic sounding reference signal (A-SRS) feedback, etc.).
- ACK / NACK feedback e.g, ACK / NACK feedback, aperiodic channel state information (A-CSI) feedback, aperiodic sounding reference signal (A-SRS) feedback, etc.
- A-CSI aperiodic channel state information
- A-SRS aperiodic sounding reference signal
- UL transmission control such as transmission timing for an UL transmission instruction (for example, UL grant) notified from a radio base station will be described.
- the user terminal is set after a predetermined period (first period) after receiving the UL transmission instruction when transmission of the DL signal and / or UL signal is permitted from the middle of the subframe according to the listening result. Control is performed so that a UL signal is transmitted within a certain period (second period).
- first period a predetermined period
- second period a certain period
- the UL transmission is controlled in units of TTI from the middle of the subframe.
- the user terminal listens within a certain period starting from the subframe after the predetermined period from the timing of receiving the UL transmission instruction (subframe n). UL transmission can be performed according to the result.
- the radio base station may notify the user terminal by including a UL transmission instruction (UL grant) in a DL signal transmitted from another cell (unlicensed band or license band) (cross carrier scheduling).
- UL grant UL transmission instruction
- DL signal transmitted from another cell unlicensed band or license band
- the user terminal controls the transmission of the UL signal within the period of the X subframe (subframe n + 4 to X subframe period) with subframe n + 4 (predetermined period is 4 ms) (see FIG. 6A).
- a case is shown in which the start timing of the UL transmission candidate period (second period) in which UL transmission is allowed is n + 4, but the present invention is not limited to this, and it is possible to set n + 3, n + 5, and the like. is there.
- the value (X) for determining the candidate period length of UL transmission may be defined in advance in the specification, or is notified from the radio base station to the user terminal using higher layer signaling (for example, RRC signaling, broadcast information, etc.). May be.
- the user terminal can control the UL transmission by grasping the period during which the UL transmission corresponding to the UL transmission instruction is possible.
- the user terminal can perform UL transmission for a maximum of 1 TTI length during the period of the X subframe that is a candidate period for UL transmission (see FIG. 6A).
- the user terminal may perform UL transmission for a plurality of TTI lengths during the period of the X subframe (see FIG. 6B).
- the radio base station schedules UL transmissions for a plurality of TTIs to the user terminal (UL multi-subframe scheduling).
- the radio base station can notify the user terminal of UL transmission instructions for a plurality of subframes using downlink control information and / or higher layer signaling.
- the user terminal does not perform UL transmission (for example, drops) Can be controlled. This eliminates the need for the user terminal to perform listening after a certain period (UL transmission candidate period). Specifically, in the case of the example in FIG. 6A, during the period of subframe n + 4, it becomes LBT-idle and listening is continuously performed until the backoff counter value becomes zero, but UL transmission is started by the beginning of subframe n + 5. If not, the transmission for 1 TTI cannot be accommodated in the period of the X subframe thereafter, so that the listening can be terminated. As a result, it is possible to reduce the listening operation of the user terminal when the channel is crowded and to suppress an increase in power consumption. Further, the user terminal may hold or discard the UL data prepared for UL transmission until receiving the UL transmission instruction again.
- the radio base station transmits a DL signal (1 TTI transport block) including a UL transmission instruction over subframe n and subframe n + 1.
- the user terminal can control the UL transmission timing on the basis of the end timing (subframe n + 1) of the subframe section in which the UL transmission instruction is included. For example, the user terminal performs UL transmission within a certain period (subframe n + 1 + 4 to X subframe period) starting from a subframe (subframe n + 1 + 4) after a predetermined period (for example, 4 ms) from subframe n + 1 (FIG. 5). 7A).
- the user terminal may control the UL transmission timing on the basis of the start timing (subframe n) of the subframe section in which the UL transmission instruction is included. For example, the user terminal performs UL transmission within a certain period (subframe n + 4 to X subframe period) starting from a subframe (subframe n + 4) after a predetermined period (for example, 4 ms) from subframe n (FIG. 5). 7B).
- the user terminal may set the UL transmission timing in the middle of the subframe or set the subframe boundary (subframe). (UL transmission in units).
- the user terminal may control UL transmission (transmission timing or the like) without applying listening before UL transmission.
- the user terminal may control the UL transmission with the UL transmission timing within a certain period after the predetermined period from the DL floating TTI including the UL transmission instruction or only after the predetermined period.
- the radio base station transmits a DL signal (1 TTI transport block) including a UL transmission instruction over subframe n and subframe n + 1.
- the user terminal transmits the UL signal at a timing (for example, an OFDM symbol of subframe n + 1 + 4) after a predetermined period (for example, 4 ms) from the end timing (subframe n + 1) of the subframe section including the UL transmission instruction. It can be a timing candidate (see FIG. 8).
- the user terminal sets a timing (for example, OFDM symbol of subframe n + 4) after a predetermined period (for example, 4 ms) from the start timing (subframe n) of the subframe section including the UL transmission instruction to the UL signal transmission timing.
- the user terminal may synchronize UL transmission with a subframe (subframe timing) and control UL transmission using only a predetermined subframe as a UL transmission timing candidate.
- the subframe (subframe timing) is set in synchronization with the other cell. It is possible to set the timing of subframes to be performed.
- the UL TTI configuration can be set to the same as the normal TTI configuration regardless of the actual transmission start timing within the UL transmission candidate period (see FIG. 9, transmission method 1).
- the normal TTI configuration refers to an arrangement configuration of UL signals and / or UL channels that are set when UL transmission is performed with reference to subframe timing (when UL transmission is performed from the top of a subframe).
- a user terminal when performing UL transmission from the middle of a subframe, uses the UL TTI configuration when performing UL transmission without listening (existing system, license band, etc.).
- the leading symbol is the leading symbol (eg, symbol # 0) having a normal TTI configuration.
- the relative position with respect to the subframe boundary can be fixedly set regardless of the actual transmission start timing within the UL transmission candidate period (see FIG. 9, transmission method 2).
- the user terminal performs cyclic shift transmission according to the transmission start timing.
- the first symbol is the fourth symbol (for example, symbol # 4) having a normal TTI configuration.
- the position where a reference signal for example, a demodulation reference signal, a sounding reference signal, etc.
- a reference signal for example, a demodulation reference signal, a sounding reference signal, etc.
- a signal including a preamble for identifying a user terminal (also referred to as an initial signal, an initial signal, or an initial signal) is set as a UL TTI start part (head part) and UL You can send.
- the radio base station can appropriately detect UL transmission (UL burst transmission) using the received preamble.
- the initial signal may include a preamble composed of an integer number of symbols.
- the symbols included in the initial signal and the symbols for 1 TTI can be summed to obtain the number of symbols in a normal subframe (for example, 14).
- a part of symbols included in the UL TTI can be used for preamble transmission.
- a part or all of the first symbol at the transmission start timing can be used for the initial signal.
- other symbols for example, symbols on which SRS are arranged
- another symbol may be controlled to be assigned to the head of the UL TTI.
- the initial signal including the preamble may be added separately without changing the UL TTI configuration.
- the actual UL transmission time length may be set longer by several symbols (for the initial signal) than 1 ms.
- the initial signal transmitted at the beginning of UL transmission can be composed of a part less than one symbol length and an integer number of symbol parts.
- the listening performed by the user terminal before transmitting the UL signal is assumed to be performed in a unit of time shorter than one symbol (for example, 16 ⁇ m). For this reason, UL transmission may be performed from the middle of a symbol depending on the listening result (timing for LBT-idle). In such a case, the initial signal includes a portion that is less than one symbol length.
- a portion composed of an integer number of symbols can be generated by using a configuration (for example, a sequence) of an existing demodulation reference signal (DMRS) and / or reference reference signal (SRS).
- DMRS demodulation reference signal
- SRS reference reference signal
- it may be generated to be unique to the user terminal using a sequence different from DMRS and / or SRS transmitted in the TTI of UL transmission (for example, PUSCH). is there.
- uplink control information (UCI) is multiplexed and transmitted on the uplink shared channel (PUSCH)
- the uplink control information is also set to the same as the normal TTI configuration (transmission method 1), or the subframe boundary
- the relative position can be fixedly set (transmission method 2).
- FIG. 10 shows an example of uplink control information allocation (before DFT (Discrete Fourier Transform) processing) when uplink control information is transmitted using PUSCH.
- the user terminal can control the uplink control information allocation to the PUSCH in the same manner as the normal TTI configuration from the symbol of the transmission start timing.
- the transmission method 2 the user terminal can control the allocation of each uplink control information to each symbol whose position is fixedly determined based on the subframe timing (subframe boundary).
- the user terminal can determine the transmission method applied to the uplink control channel (for example, PUCCH) based on the transmission method (transmission method 1 or transmission method 2) applied to PUSCH allocation. For example, when the transmission method 1 is applied to the PUSCH, the user terminal can apply the transmission method 1 to the PUCCH and assign the PUCCH so as to be frequency-division multiplexed with the PUSCH.
- PUCCH uplink control channel
- transmission method 1 or transmission method 2 transmission method 2
- the user terminal may control the transmission method applied to the PUCCH independently of the transmission method applied to the PUSCH.
- a user terminal can apply transmission method 2 to PUCCH and apply transmission method 1 to PUSCH.
- the radio base station can perform the blind detection operation without detecting the preamble, assuming that the PUCCH is always transmitted in a state that matches the subframe timing.
- a user terminal may apply the transmission method 1 to PUCCH, and may apply the transmission method 2 to PUSCH. Note that the user terminal can also select a transmission method to be applied to the PUCCH and / or PUSCH based on information notified from the radio base station.
- ⁇ Modification> When a user terminal connects and communicates with a plurality of CCs, a case where UL transmission for a plurality of CCs is set simultaneously is considered. It is also assumed that the timing of UL transmission for multiple CCs is different (for example, UL transmission using floating TTI in the unlicensed band and UL transmission in the license band). As a case where a user terminal connects to a plurality of CCs to perform communication, there is a case where carrier aggregation (CA), dual connectivity (DC), or the like is set.
- CA carrier aggregation
- DC dual connectivity
- DC between cells are operated by different base stations, and user terminals communicate by connecting to cell groups of different frequencies operated by different base stations. For this reason, when DC is applied, a plurality of schedulers are provided independently, and the plurality of schedulers control the scheduling of a cell group composed of one or more cells under their control. Each cell group is composed of one or a plurality of CCs.
- the user terminal is configured to notify the radio base station of information (UE capability information) regarding whether or not simultaneous transmission of UL signals is possible even when the actual transmission timing differs between CCs. Can do.
- UE capability information information
- the user terminal may notify the radio base station as UE capability information that simultaneous transmission between CCs having different UL transmission timings cannot be supported (simultaneous transmission can be supported only between CCs with timing). Good.
- simultaneous transmission between CCs having timing include simultaneous transmission to CCs belonging to the same timing advance group (TAG).
- TAG timing advance group
- the radio base station can appropriately control scheduling and UL transmission power for user terminals connected to a plurality of CCs by grasping the capability information of the user terminals.
- a user terminal that supports simultaneous transmission between CCs with different timings can apply a transmission power control method used for asynchronous dual connectivity to UL CA in LAA. For example, when the user terminal is configured to simultaneously transmit UL transmission to which UL floating TTI is applied and normal UL transmission in a license carrier, or UL transmission to which UL floating TTI is applied is simultaneously set in a plurality of CCs. In such a case, a transmission power control method used for asynchronous dual connectivity can be applied.
- the minimum guaranteed power is set for each cell group, and the UL transmission power is controlled in consideration of the guaranteed power and allocated power of other cell groups.
- the user terminal secures the minimum guaranteed power for each cell group, and allocates the remaining transmission power (more than the maximum allowable transmission power minus the minimum guaranteed power) to the cell group (CC) with early transmission timing. Can do.
- the user terminal When simultaneous transmission of UL transmission to which the UL floating TTI is applied and normal UL transmission in the license carrier is set, the user terminal applies a cell (or cell group) to which the UL floating TTI is applied and normal UL transmission.
- the UL transmission power can be controlled in consideration of the minimum guaranteed power for the cell (or cell group) to be performed.

Abstract
