In order to solve the above problems, in the present invention, in a vehicle seat having a cushion seat or a seat back formed by covering the surface of a urethane pad with a trim cover, the cushion seat or the seat back has a concave shape. An accent line is formed, and a concave portion is formed in the urethane pad portion corresponding to the concave accent line of the cushion seat or seat back, and the stitched portion of the trim cover is bonded to the bottom surface of the concave portion with an adhesive. It is characterized by being pasted.

Furthermore, in order to solve the above-described problems, according to the present invention, in the method for manufacturing a vehicle seat, the urethane pad is mounted while heating the stitched portion of the trim cover on the convex portion of the mold on which the convex portion is formed. By pressing the adhesive between the urethane pad and the stitched portion of the trim cover, the convex shape formed on the mold and the shape of the stitched portion are transferred to the urethane pad to form a concave portion on the urethane pad. I did it.

In the present invention, the seat back of the vehicle seat and the cushion seat are attached to the surface of the urethane pad formed of polyurethane by using an adhesive with a trim cover composed of an outer skin, a cover pad and a back base fabric. It was made to form.
The urethane pad used in this vehicle seat has a thermosetting property and has a property of shrinking and curing when heated. In the present invention, by utilizing this property, the adhesive is heated with a hot melt adhesive to bond the urethane pad and the trim cover, and the surface is molded with a flat surface by the heat at the time of bonding. By heating the urethane pad, the adhesive part was thermally shrunk and molded into a concave shape, thereby eliminating the need to mold various concave surfaces when molding the urethane pad.

At this time, the protrusion 42 is heated by the high-temperature steam sent out from the heating part 43, and the urethane pad 31 contracts by heating the part in contact with the protrusion 42 via the stitching part 60 of the trim cover 32. (S806).

The upper die 70 continues to descend further, and the urethane pad 31 held by the upper die 70 is lowered and pressurized until it comes into full contact with the pressing portion 41 of the lower die 40 to be in the state shown in FIG. 7E (S8).
07). In this state, the urethane pad 31 and the trim cover 32 contract by being heated by the pressing portion 41 heated by high-temperature steam.
At the same time, the stitched portion 60 of the trim cover 32 is bonded to the urethane pad 31 by the heated hot melt adhesive 51, and the protruding portion 42 of the lower mold 40 and the stitched portion 60 of the trim cover 32 are bonded to the urethane pad 31. The corresponding shape is transferred, and the concave portion 30 corresponding to the shape of the protruding portion 42 and the stitched portion 60 of the trim cover 32 is formed (S808). At this time, the trim cover 32 is pulled by the protrusion 42 of the lower mold 40 and enters the recess 30 and is bonded to the urethane pad 31 by the hot melt adhesive 51. Therefore, the trim cover 32 is formed on the urethane pad 31. The surface is covered with a trim cover 32 including the stitching portion 60.

After pressing the urethane pad 31 with the upper mold 70 against the lower mold 40 heated with high-temperature steam for a predetermined time and securely bonding the entire surface covered with the trim cover 32 of the urethane pad 31 including the inner surface of the recess 30. Then, the supply of high-temperature steam to the heating unit 43 from an external steam supply source (not shown) is stopped (S809). As shown in FIG. 7F, in a state where the urethane pad 31 having the trim cover 32 bonded to the surface is held, the upper mold 70 is raised in the direction of the arrow to separate the urethane pad 31 from the lower mold 40 (S810). The urethane pad 31 is transported to a predetermined place by transport means (not shown) (S811), and a series of operations ends.

FIG. 9 shows a cross-sectional view of the urethane pad 31 and the trim cover 32 in a portion where the recess 30 is formed. The urethane pad 31 is a lower mold 4 to which high-temperature water vapor is supplied when the trim cover is bonded.
A layer 312 that is heated and shrunk is formed on a portion close to the lower mold 40 by receiving heat from 0, that is, on the surface to which the trim cover 32 is bonded and in the vicinity thereof. Further, a layer 313 that is more contracted than the surroundings is formed at the bottom of the recess 30. On the other hand, a layer 311 that maintains the original state without being affected by heat is formed in a part away from the lower mold 40 to some extent.

In addition, since it is not necessary to mold the concave shape in advance on the urethane pad, it is not necessary to prepare a dedicated mold corresponding to the concave shape when forming the urethane pad, and the types of molds for forming the urethane pad can be reduced. It became so.
[Modification 1]
In the first embodiment, a sheet-like adhesive (hot melt adhesive) 52 is placed on the trim cover 32 other than the stitching portion 60, and the trim cover 32 is pressed by the pressing portion 41 of the lower mold 40.
-1,32-2 and 32-3 are heated to melt the sheet-like adhesive 52,
Although an example in which almost the entire trim covers 32-1, 32-2, and 32-3 are attached to the urethane pad 31 has been described, in this modification, a case in which only the recesses of the accent line are bonded will be described.
