Abstract
Description
まず、棒状たばこ物品の一例として、各実施形態に係るパッケージに収容される非燃焼型喫煙物品について説明する。以下に説明する各実施形態に係るパッケージは、非燃焼型喫煙物品のパッケージとして好適に用いることができる。図1は、各実施形態に係るパッケージに収容される非燃焼型喫煙物品を示す。非燃焼型喫煙物品10は、加熱されて香喫味成分を含むエアロゾルを発生するエアロゾル発生セクション11を有する。このエアロゾル発生セクション11は、アルミニウム、ステンレス鋼等の熱的に安定な材料で形成された筒体内に、例えばシートたばこやたばこ刻を充填したものである。

パッケージ本体2は、本発明の収容部に相当し、内部に非燃焼型喫煙物品10を収容する収容箱である。パッケージ本体2の上端は開放端となっており非燃焼型喫煙物品10を取り出すことが可能である。
リッド3は、パッケージ本体2の開口を覆う。リッド3は、第1ヒンジH1に連結されている長方形のリッドの後壁32と、リッドの後壁32に直交するように連結されている長方形のリッドの上壁34と、リッドの上壁34と直交するように連結されている一組の台形のリッドの側壁33,33と、リッドの後壁32と対向するリッドの前壁31を有している。リッドの側壁33,33は、夫々が、リッドの後壁32、リッドの上壁34の各側縁と連結されている。リッド3が開状態では、パッケージ本体2の開口から非燃焼型喫煙物品10の出し入れが自在となる。一方で、リッド3が閉状態では、リッドの側壁33,33の斜辺、すなわち傾斜する下縁とパッケージ本体の側壁22,22の斜辺、すなわち傾斜する上縁とが合致する。また、リッドの前壁31の下縁と、パッケージ本体の前壁21の上縁とが合致する。その結果、パッケージ本体2の開口がリッド3によって覆われ、パッケージ本体2の内部が閉空間となる。
第1実施形態に係るパッケージ200は、パッケージ本体2を仕切る第1縦仕切部410、及び第2縦仕切部420によって、複数の小領域SRに仕切られている。第1実施形態では、パッケージ本体2が10個の小領域SRに仕切られており、各小領域SRに非燃焼型喫煙物品10が1本ずつ収容可能である。また、これらの小領域SRは、開口断面が四角形である。小領域SRは、後述する2つの横仕切部(第1横仕切部51、第2横仕切部52)よって、高さ方向(上下方向)が仕切られている。第1縦仕切部410は、第1横仕切部51と第2横仕切部52との間に設けられ、パッケージ本体2を前方と後方に仕切る第1中央壁411、前方から後方に向けて延び、パッケージ本体2を横方向に複数に仕切る、複数の第1分割壁412を含む。また、第2縦仕切部420は、第2横仕切部52とパッケージ本体の下壁24との間に設けられ、パッケージ本体2を前方と後方に仕切る第2中央壁421、前方から後方に向けて延び、パッケージ本体2を横方向に複数に仕切る、複数の第2分割壁422を含む。第1中央壁411、第1分割壁412、第2中央壁421、第2分割壁422は、本発明の縦壁の一例である。
第1実施形態に係るパッケージ200は、上述した第1縦仕切部410、及び第2縦仕切部420に加え、第1横仕切部51、及び第2横仕切部52を含む横仕切部5によって、パッケージ本体2が高さ方向(上下方向)においても仕切られている。詳細には、横仕切部5は、第1横仕切部51、第2横仕切部52、横仕切部の前壁511、パッケージ本体の後壁22の内側に沿う横仕切部の後壁512、パッケージ本体の側壁23,23の内側に沿う横仕切部の側壁513,513を含む。第1横仕切部51は、喫煙前の非燃焼型喫煙物品10の吸い口側の端部が第1横仕切部51の上面から露出するように、パッケージ本体の後壁22の上端よりもやや低い高さに設けられている。一方で、第1横仕切部51は、喫煙後の非燃焼型喫煙物品10の吸い口側の端面が第1横仕切部51の上面と同じになるように、パッケージ本体の後壁22の上端よりもやや低い高さに設けられている。第1横仕切部51は、横方向の両縁にパッケージ本体の下壁24まで延びる横仕切部の側壁513,513が連なっており、この横仕切部の側壁513,513によって支持されている。第1横仕切部51の後縁には、下方に延びる横仕切部の後壁512の上縁が連なり、第1横仕切部51の前縁には、下方に延びる横仕切部の前壁511の上縁が連なっている。また、第1横仕切部51には、10個の小領域SRに対応して、非燃焼型喫煙物品10が貫通する第1横仕切部の孔515が形成されている。この第1横仕切部の孔515の縁には、非燃焼型喫煙物品10を保持する第1横仕切部の保持部516が設けられている。第1横仕切部の孔515は、八角形であり、各辺には、先端が内側、かつ下方を指す、三角形の第1横仕切部の保持部516が連なっている。
図9は、第1実施形態に係るパッケージの縦仕切部及び横仕切部の組み立て手順を説明する図を示す。図10は、第1実施形態に係るパッケージの縦仕切部の一部を構成するブランクを示す。図11は、第1実施形態に係るパッケージの縦仕切部の一部を構成するブランクを示す。図12は、第1実施形態に係るパッケージの縦仕切部の一部を構成するブランクを示す。図13は、第1実施形態に係るパッケージの縦仕切部の一部を構成するブランクを示す。図14は、第1実施形態に係るパッケージの横仕切部を構成するブランクを示す。なお、パッケージ本体2、及びリッド3には、既存の各種ブランクを用いることができる。したがって、パッケージ本体2、及びリッド3を構成するブランクの説明は、割愛する。パッケージ本体の下壁24の下部、パッケージ本体の前壁21の下部、パッケージ本体の後壁22の下部、及びパッケージ本体の側壁0の下部の内側面に対応する区域には、アルミニウムからなる耐熱層が形成されている。
第1実施形態に係るパッケージ200によれば、パッケージ本体2が、第1縦仕切部410、第2縦仕切部420、第1横仕切部51、第2横仕切部52で仕切られているため、非燃焼型喫煙物品10のパッケージ本体2内での移動が制限される。特に、第1実施形態に係るパッケージ200では、第1横仕切部の保持部516及び第2横仕切部の保持部526により、非燃焼型喫煙物品10の移動が制限される。そのため、非燃焼型喫煙物品10同士の衝突や、非燃焼型喫煙物品10とパッケージ100の内壁面との衝突が抑制される。その結果、非燃焼型喫煙物品10の損傷を抑制することができる。特に、非燃焼型喫煙物品10の炭素熱源12が割れてしまったり、炭素熱源12がエアロゾル発生セクション11から脱落することの抑制が可能となる。

第2実施形態に係るパッケージ300は、上述した第3縦仕切部6に加え、第3横仕切部7によって、パッケージ本体2が高さ方向においても仕切られている。詳細には、第3横仕切部7は、第3横仕切部の上壁70、パッケージ本体の前壁21の内側に沿う第3横仕切部の前壁71、パッケージ本体の後壁22の内側に沿う第3横仕切部の後壁72、パッケージ本体の側壁23,23の内側に沿う第3横仕切部の側壁73,73を含む。第3横仕切部の上壁70は、喫煙前の非燃焼型喫煙物品10の吸い口側の端部が第3横仕切部の上壁70から露出するように、パッケージ本体の後壁22の上端よりもやや低い高さに設けられている。一方で、第3横仕切部の上壁70は、喫煙後の非燃焼型喫煙物品10の吸い口側の端面が第3横仕切部の上壁70と同じになるように、パッケージ本体の後壁22の上端よりもやや低い高さに設けられている。また、第3横仕切部の上壁70には、14個の小領域SRに対応して、非燃焼型喫煙物品10が貫通する、第3横仕切部の孔701が形成されている。

第2実施形態に係るパッケージ300によれば、パッケージ本体2が、第3縦仕切部6、第3横仕切部7で仕切られているため、非燃焼型喫煙物品10のパッケージ本体2内での移動が制限される。具体的には、図21、図22に示すように、パッケージ本体2が、開口断面がひし形の小領域SRに仕切られており、開口断面がひし形の小領域SRの内面と非燃焼型喫煙物品10の周面とが4つの接点TPで接している。そのため、非燃焼型喫煙物品10同士の衝突や、非燃焼型喫煙物品10とパッケージ300の内壁面との衝突が抑制される。その結果、非燃焼型喫煙物品10の損傷を抑制することができる。特に、非燃焼型喫煙物品10の炭素熱源12が割れてしまったり、炭素熱源12がエアロゾル発生セクション11から脱落することの抑制が可能となる。また、第2実施形態に係るパッケージ300では、開口断面がひし形の小領域SRの内面と非燃焼型喫煙物品10の周面とが4つの接点TPで接しており、小領域SRの内面と非燃焼型喫煙物品10の周面との間には空隙が存在する。そのため、開口断面を円形(点接触ではなく、線接触)や正五角形(接点が5つ)、それ以上の多角形(接点が5つ以上)とする場合と比較して、非燃焼型喫煙物品10をパッケージ100に出し入れする際の抵抗を低減することができ、また、小領域SRの内面と非燃焼型喫煙物品10の周面との間の空隙をより多く形成することができる。その結果、非燃焼型喫煙物品10をパッケージ100から容易に取り出すことができ、また、吸殻としての喫煙後の非燃焼型喫煙物品10を、パッケージ300のパッケージ本体2に容易に戻すことができる。
図32は、第3実施形態に係るパッケージの開状態の斜視図を示す。図33は、第3実施形態に係るパッケージの開状態の側面図を示す。第3実施形態に係るパッケージ400は、パッケージ本体2、及びリッド3を備える。パッケージ本体2、及びリッド3は、第1実施形態と同様の構成である。また、第3実施形態に係るパッケージ400は、第4縦仕切部8により、パッケージ本体2が開口断面がひし形の小領域SRによって仕切られている。但し、第3実施形態に係るパッケージ400は、小領域SRが上部から下部に向けて徐々に横断面の面積が徐々に小さくなるように形成されている。換言すると、小領域SRを形成する壁が傾斜している。
図34は、第4実施形態に係るパッケージの閉状態の斜視図を示す。図35は、第4実施形態に係るパッケージの開状態の斜視図を示す。図36は、第4実施形態に係るパッケージの開状態の側面図を示す。図37は、第4実施形態に係るパッケージの開状態の上面図(図35の矢視A)を示す。第4実施形態に係るパッケージ100は、所謂ヒンジリッドパッケージであり、パッケージ本体2と、パッケージ本体2に第1ヒンジH1を介して回動自在に連結される蓋部であるリッド3とを含む。パッケージ本体2、及びリッドは、第1実施形態と同様の構成である。したがって、パッケージ本体2、及びリッド3の説明は割愛する。
パッケージ本体2は、内部を仕切る縦仕切部4によって、複数の小領域SRに仕切られている。第4実施形態では、パッケージ本体2が14個の小領域SRに仕切られており、各小領域SRに非燃焼型喫煙物品10が1本ずつ収容可能である。縦仕切部4は、パッケージ本体2を前方と後方に仕切る中央壁45、前方から後方に向けて斜めに延び、パッケージ本体2を横方向に複数に仕切る第1斜壁46及び第2斜壁47、パッケージ本体の前壁21の内側に沿う縦仕切部の前壁41、パッケージ本体の後壁22の内側に沿う縦仕切部の後壁42、パッケージ本体の側壁23,23の内側に沿う縦仕切部の側壁43,43を含む。中央壁45、第1斜壁46、第2斜壁47、縦仕切部の前壁41、縦仕切部の後壁42、縦仕切部の側壁43,43は、本発明の縦壁の一例である。また、小領域SRは、パッケージ本体2の奥行方向(高さ方向)に延びる、中央壁45、第1斜壁46、第2斜壁47、縦仕切部の前壁41、縦仕切部の後壁42に仕切られた、開口断面が三角形の領域で、非燃焼型喫煙物品10を一本ずつ収容する。
