- CCCH carrying SRB0 can be handled similarly.
- a static connection may be configured between the AU and the CU, and the CCCH received through the cell associated with the AU may be delivered to the CU according to the CCCH transmission of the UE.
- the CCCH generated in the CU may be transmitted to the UE through a cell associated with the AU.
- the CCCH message when the CCCH message is received through the cell associated with the AU according to the CCCH transmission of the UE, by establishing a dynamic tunnel between the AU and the CU and / or via a message on the interface between the CU and the AU, it can be delivered to the CU have.
- the CCCH message is generated in the CU, it is possible to establish a dynamic tunnel and / or transmit the CCCH message to the UE through the cell associated with the AU through a message on the interface between the CU and the AU.
- the DCCH for transmitting terminal-specific information such as dedicated control information between the terminal and the network, or the DTCH for transmitting user plane information between the terminal and the network may be classified by terminal or radio bearer between the CU and the AU or between the AU and the CU. need.
- dynamic signaling is required between the CU and the AU or between the AU and the CU on a procedure of adding / modifying / releaseing a radio bearer for an arbitrary terminal.

Description

상향링크와 하향링크는, PDCCH(Physical Downlink Control CHannel), PCFICH(Physical Control Format Indicator CHannel), PHICH(Physical Hybrid ARQ Indicator CHannel), PUCCH(Physical Uplink Control CHannel), EPDCCH(Enhanced Physical Downlink Control CHannel) 등과 같은 제어채널을 통하여 제어정보를 전송하고, PDSCH(Physical Downlink Shared CHannel), PUSCH(Physical Uplink Shared CHannel) 등과 같은 데이터채널로 구성되어 데이터를 전송한다.
한편 EPDCCH(enhanced PDCCH 또는 extended PDCCH)를 이용해서도 제어 정보를 전송할 수 있다.

DU와 RU 간은 광케이블을 통해 연결되며 DU와 RU들 간의 통신을 위한 인터페이스 규격으로 CPRI(Common Public Radio Interface), OBSAI(Open Baseband Remote Radiohead Interface) 등 기지국 벤더들에 의해 만들어진 규격을 사용한다.
도 3을 참조하면, 레이어 2(Layer 2)는 MAC(Medium Access Control), RLC(Radio Link Control) 및 PDCP(Packet Data Convergence Protocol) 서브레이어로 분리된다.
