- the movement of the first closing member means that the combustion gas is moved between the combustion chamber and the diffuser chamber, for example, the diameter direction of the first closing member is inclined with respect to the longitudinal direction of the cylindrical housing. It is meant to create a gap that can pass through.
- occlusion member is also included.

- the second retainer 170 is the same as the retainer 70 shown in FIG. 1, and has a main body portion 171 having a plurality of communication holes 173 and an annular portion 172 extended from the peripheral edge portion of the main body portion 171.
- the first retainer 70 and the second retainer 170 are disposed on the first closing member 60 side in the combustion chamber 30, and the second retainer 170 is spaced from the first retainer 70 in the combustion chamber 30. By being disposed on the igniter 25 side, a space 82 is formed between them.
- the first retainer 70 and the second retainer 170 may be disposed at any position in the axis X direction in the combustion chamber 30 as long as the space 82 is formed.
- the operation when the gas generator 1B shown in FIG. 3 is placed in a high-temperature atmosphere caused by fire will be described.
- the gas generator 1B is placed in a high temperature atmosphere caused by fire, and the first closing member 60 is subjected to pressure and impact as in the gas generator 1 of FIG. Is pushed in the direction of the igniter 25. Since the space 82 exists between the first retainer 70 and the second retainer 170, when the gas generating agent 26 is pushed toward the igniter 25, the first retainer 70 moves so as to make the space 82 smaller. For this reason, the first closing member 60 moves after being deformed as shown in FIG. 1B, for example, so that a gap is formed between the inner wall surface 11 c and the first closing member 60. By forming the gap, the combustion chamber 30 and the diffuser chamber 40 are communicated with each other.
- the gas generator 1C in FIG. 4 differs from the gas generator 1 in FIG. 1 in that a deformable member is used instead of the combination of the retainer 70 and the space 80. Others are the same.
- the deformable member (sponge) 90 is disposed in contact with the first surface 61 a of the circular main body 61 of the first closing member 60 and the annular wall surface 62.
- the sponge 90 is sandwiched between the first closing member 60 and the gas generating agent 26 from both sides in the axis X direction.
- the sponge 90 is disc-shaped, but may be annular.
- the operation when the gas generator 1C shown in FIG. 4 is placed in a high temperature atmosphere caused by fire will be described.
- the gas generator 1 ⁇ / b> C is placed in a high temperature atmosphere caused by fire, and the first closing member 60 receives pressure and impact as in the gas generator 1 of FIG. 1, and pushes the sponge 90 toward the igniter 25. Since the sponge 90 pushed in the direction of the igniter 25 contracts between the first closing member 60 and the gas generating agent 26 and becomes smaller, the first closing member 60 is deformed as shown in FIG. 1B, for example. By moving upward, a gap is formed between the inner wall surface 11 c and the first closing member 60. By forming the gap, the combustion chamber 30 and the diffuser chamber 40 are communicated with each other.
- the gas generator 1D in FIG. 5 differs from the gas generator 1 in FIG. 1 in that a deformable member is used instead of the combination of the retainer 70 and the space 80. Others are the same.
- the deformable member (sponge) 90 has an annular shape, and is disposed in contact with the gas generating agent 26 and in contact with a portion of the igniter 25 excluding the upper surface of the ignition unit 25a. The sponge 90 is sandwiched between the gas generating agent 26 and the igniter 25 from both sides in the axis X direction.
- the operation when the gas generator 1D shown in FIG. 5 is placed in a high temperature atmosphere caused by fire will be described.
- the gas generator 1D is placed in a high-temperature atmosphere caused by fire, and the first closing member 60 is subjected to pressure and impact similarly to the gas generator 1 of FIG. Is pushed in the direction of the igniter 25.
- the sponge 90 is pushed by the gas generating agent 26 pushed in the direction of the igniter 25, the sponge 90 contracts between the igniter 25 and the gas generating agent 26 and becomes smaller.
- a gap is formed between the inner wall surface 11 c and the first closing member 60. By forming the gap, the combustion chamber 30 and the diffuser chamber 40 are communicated with each other.
- the gas generator 1E in FIG. 6 differs from the gas generator 1 in FIG. 1 in that a deformable member is used instead of the combination of the retainer 70 and the space 80. Others are the same.
- the deformable member (sponge) 90 has a plate shape and is disposed in the combustion chamber 30 while being surrounded by the gas generating agent 26. The sponge 90 is sandwiched by the gas generating agent 26 from both sides in the axis X direction.
- the operation when the gas generator 1E shown in FIG. 6 is placed in a high temperature atmosphere caused by fire will be described.
- the gas generator 1E is placed in a high-temperature atmosphere caused by fire, and the first closing member 60 is subjected to pressure and impact similarly to the gas generator 1 of FIG. Is pushed in the direction of the igniter 25.
- the sponge 90 is pushed by the gas generating agent 26 pushed in the direction of the igniter 25, the sponge 90 shrinks between the gas generating agents 26 and becomes smaller, so that the first closing member 60 is, for example, FIG.
- a gap is formed between the inner wall surface 11c and the first closing member 60 by moving after being deformed. By forming the gap, the combustion chamber 30 and the diffuser chamber 40 are communicated with each other.
- the gas generator 1F in FIG. 7 is a combination of the retainer 70 and the deformable member (sponge) 90 instead of the combination of the retainer 70 and the space 80 in the gas generator 1 in FIG.
- the retainer 70 is the same as the retainer 70 shown in FIG. 1, but the annular portion 72 is disposed on the first closing member 60 side, and the annular portion 72 and the annular wall surface portion of the first closing member 60 are arranged. An interval is formed between 62.
- the sponge 90 is disposed between the first closing member 60 and the retainer 70. The sponge 90 and the annular wall surface 62 of the first closing member 60 are in contact with each other.
- the operation when the gas generator 1F shown in FIG. 7 is placed in a high-temperature atmosphere caused by fire will be described.
- the gas generator 1F is placed in a high-temperature atmosphere caused by fire, and the first closing member 60 receives pressure and impact in the same manner as the gas generator 1 in FIG. 1, and pushes the sponge 90 toward the igniter 25.
- the sponge 90 is pushed in the direction of the igniter 25, the sponge 90 shrinks and becomes smaller. Therefore, the first closing member 60 is deformed as shown in FIG.
- a gap is formed between the first closing member 60 and the first closing member 60. By forming the gap, the combustion chamber 30 and the diffuser chamber 40 are communicated with each other.

Abstract
