Description
DESCRIPTION
COLUMN CLADDING ROTATING ADVERTISEMENT STAND
Technical Field The invention relates to an advertisement stand clad/covered around columns or trees found indoors or outdoors in shopping malls, airports, and public places.
The invention particularly relates to an advertisement stand having a rotating structure used by being clad/covered around columns, illumination poles, trees to be protected etc. objects to make efficient use of these areas. State of the Art
Nowadays, advertisement applications with different techniques and visual characteristics are used in shopping malls, airports, and other places where people are densely found. These applications are configured and mounted around a fixed structure.
The prior art applications frequently cause malfunctions and loud noises due to lack of technical infrastructure (gearwheel system). Excessive noise originating from advertisement stands disturb people in shopping malls, airports etc. places, which are already noisy places.
In the state of the art, during installation of advertisement stands, extra labor is required for gearwheel systems. Moreover, unwanted situations such as accidents and injuries occur during mounting. The state of the art advertisement stands cannot serve their purpose well, since they frequently have malfunctions.
In the state of the art, installation of advertisement stands usually takes a long time. Therefore, the efficiency obtained from the advertisement stand is reduced.
The gearwheel system allowing rotation in the state of the art requires frequent lubrication. This also causes an additional cost and extra labor.
As a result of the literature research, various embodiments about said column advertisements were encountered. One of these is the utility model No. 2013/05233, entitled: "Advertisement area formed on load bearing columns and/or floor surface in parking garages". In the abstract of the invention, it is disclosed that: "The invention relates to an advertisement system positioned on parking garage load-bearing columns/parking garage floor surfaces. The invention relates to advertisement areas positioned on parking garage load-bearing columns/parking garage floor surfaces, and it is characterized in that; it comprises at least one advertisement surface positioned
on the parking garage load-bearing column for providing an advertisement and product promotion area, at least one connection surface coupled to the advertisement surface in order to bear this advertisement surface and connect it to the surfaces of attachment, and a stabilizer, two-sided holder positioned between said parking garage load-bearing column and the advertisement surface in order to stabilize/fix said advertisement surface to the parking garage load-bearing column".
Said application is the method of cladding advertisements on/around columns, and does not have a rotating structure. Moreover, this system can only be applied on columns, and does not have areas of use around trees or illumination poles.
In the patent research about the prior art, a US patent application with No. US5572816 A was encountered. This application relates to a rotating advertising sign/stand. Since this product has a complex structure, its mounting operations are quite difficult.
Another US patent application with No. US1699857 A also discloses a rotating advertisement stand, which also uses gearwheel in the system as given above.
However, these applications only disclose rotating systems, and do not disclose cladding around a component like a column. Therefore, the above said applications can be given as examples for most of the above said drawbacks.
As a result, improvement is to be made in parallel with the developing technology in column cladding advertisement stands, and therefore novel embodiments that would eliminate the above said drawbacks and bring solutions to the problems of the prior art systems are needed.
Purpose of the Invention
The present invention relates to column cladding advertisement stands, formed with the inspiration from the state of the art situations, and developed with the purpose of solving said drawbacks and bringing some other advantages. The purpose of the invention is to use belt and pulley system in the advertisement stand for rotating, instead of gearwheels, and thus minimize possible malfunctions.
Another purpose of the invention is to operate the system in a quiet manner by using polyurethane wheels instead of metal bearings. In this way, people around wouldn't be disturbed.
Another purpose of the invention is to minimize the costs by means of eliminating the need for oil/lubricant used for the rotating system. Moreover, the time spent for lubrication would also be eliminated and thus the efficiency of the advertisement stand would be improved.
Another purpose of the invention is to prevent possible injuries during mounting and demounting operations by means of eliminating the gearwheel system.
In order to achieve the above said purposes, a cladding advertisement stand with a rotating structure is developed to be cladded around elements such as columns, illumination poles, and trees to be protected etc. and thus make use of empty spaces.
The structural and characteristic features of the invention and all of its advantages shall be understood better with the figures and the detailed description given below in reference to the figures. Therefore, the assessment should be made by taking into account the said figures and detailed explanations.

Detailed Description of an Example of the Invention
In this detailed description, the preferred embodiments of the cladding advertisement stand (80) according to the invention are only disclosed for better understanding of the subject without forming any limiting effect.
The rotating advertisement areas (20) on which advertisement posters are hanged and which have rotatable structure, are rotated by means of a drive component (50). They are fixed on the ground by means of forming chassis (81 ) around illumination posts, trees, or parking garage columns (K). A cladding space (82) is formed at the middle portion of the cladding advertisement stand (80) mounted in this way. Said cladding advertisement stand (80) comprises a motion mechanism (70) having a drive transmission component (51 ) which transmits the motion it receives from the drive component (50) to the rotating advertisement area (20).
Structure and mounting principle;
Said cladding advertisement stand (80) consists of a lower advertisement area (10), a rotating advertisement area (20), and an upper advertisement area (30). Figure 1 is a perspective view of the cladding advertisement stand (80) cladded around a column (K).
The lower advertisement area (10) has a fixed structure. Similarly, the upper advertisement area (30) also has a fixed structure. Both of these areas are used for advertisements, but they do not have rotating structures. The rotating advertisement area (20) can rotate by means of the motion mechanism (70) to which it is attached. The invention enables installation of advertisement stands around originally idle
columns, illumination posts, or trees via cladding method, and thus allows making use of these spaces.
The motion mechanism (70) consists of a pulley (40), an elevation wheel (41 ), a balance wheel (42), a belt (43), a belt strainer apparatus (44), a drive component (50), and a drive transmission component (51 ). The motion mechanism (70) can be clearly understood in Detail A taken from Figure 1 .
The cladding advertisement stand (80) is fixed on the chassis (81 ) in the general structure. The motion mechanism (70) is positioned on the platform (60). The rotating advertisement area (20) is positioned on the pulley (40). The balance wheel (42) is positioned at the inner side of the pulley (40). Said balance wheel (42) is a component used for facilitating motion of the rotating pulley (40), ensuring continuity of the rotating motion, and fixing the balance.
The belt (43) is attached around the pulley (40). The drive transmission component (51 ) is positioned between the belt (43) and the pulley (40). The drive transmission component (51 ) is used for transmitting the drive it receives from the drive component (50) found below the platform (60) to the belt (43) and the pulley (40).
The elevation wheel (41 ) is positioned above the platform (60) and below the pulley (40). The elevation transmission component (51 ) is a component used for facilitating motion of the rotating part, ensuring continuity of the rotating motion, and adjusting the elevation.
Furthermore, the above said drive component (50) is also positioned below the platform (60). Transmission of motion to all of the rotating parts is made by the drive component (50). The motion is transmitted from the drive component (50) to the belt-pulley system via the drive transmission component (51 ). These two components are connected to each other by means of a drive component extension (52).
Here, also a belt strainer apparatus (44) is used in order to eliminate the space of the belt (43) used in the pulley (40) system.
As can be seen from Detail A, LEDs are fixed on the column (K) as illumination components (21 ). Said illumination components (21 ) ensure that the advertisements hanged on all advertisement areas to appear clearer and brighter.
Operating principle;
Advertisements are placed on the lower advertisement area (10) and the upper advertisement area (30) of the cladding advertisement stand (80), which is mounted by cladding around a column, tree,
or illumination pole. Otherwise, they can be used for brands/logos. Afterwards, required straining operations are made on the motion mechanism (70) via the belt strainer apparatus (44).
The height of the rotating advertisement area (20) is adjusted according to the advertisement to be used, by means of the elevation wheel (41 ). Finally, the space of the belt (43) is eliminated by means of the balance wheel (42). After placement of the advertisements to be exhibited on the rotating advertisement area (20), the system is started. When the command to start is given to the system, the drive component (50) starts to operate. With the operation of the drive component (50), the drive component extension (52) transmits the generated drive to the drive transmission component (51 ); and the drive transmission component (51 ) transmits the drive to the belt (43) and the pulley (40). Since the rotating advertisement area (20) is positioned on the pulley (40), with the rotation of the pulley (40), the rotating advertisement area (20) also starts to rotate.
Since the need for lubrication is eliminated with the belt and pulley system, the motion mechanism (70) is not required to be stopped. The system can operate continuously without malfunctioning, thanks to the elevation wheel (41 ) and the balance wheel (42) connected to the pulley (40).
The cladding advertisement stand (80), which is the subject of the invention, is not only cladded around columns (K), but also can be clad around elements such as structures to be protected (such as trees) or illumination poles, as disclosed in the other parts of the description. Therefore, by means of the advertisement visuals found around said elements rotating 360 degrees, these areas that are originally idle can be used efficiently.
