Abstract

The invention relates to provide an artistic display rack comprising of a base, an interior hung board mounting a flat screen display, and an exterior protective lid covering the base. Furthermore, a fitting fine art could be mounted on the artistic display rack, not only to shield or show a flat screen display, but also to be fitted into the whole interior decoration to make users feel more comfortable.

Description

    FIELD OF THE INVENTION
  • The invention generally relates to a mounting device for a flat screen display panel, and more specifically, an artistic display rack for shielding or showing a flat screen display, and the artistic display rack could be fitted into the whole interior decoration to make users feel more comfortable.
  • BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • Generally, the flat screen display has being widely used for saving energy consumption and installation space. These days the flat screen displays, such as plasma televisions, thin film transistor (“TFT”) displays, a liquid crystal display (LCD) and the like, are progressively gaining popularity throughout the marketplace. However, the flat screen device alone is difficult to be mounted, hence the flat screen device ordinarily has to be coupled with a bracket to stand upright or to hang ceiling supports. Therefore, the display was totally exposed to air without any protection of shields, and the bare display was easily damaged and decreased lifetime when receiving an external force, humidity moisture, or electrostatic. Moreover, a small-sized ergonomic flat screen display is not suitably fitted into a room with wild angle design.
  • This recent proliferation has resulted in many different mounts and mounting techniques. There are several different ways to mount a flat panel display, including hanging ceiling supports, floor stands, and wall mounts. Current flat panel displays can be quite heavy, with the weight increasing as the display size increases. Many traditional mounts require an installer to affix the mount to a supporting surface, then subsequently position the heavy display and align the mounting hardware. This can be a difficult task to appreciate the weight involved in many of today's flat panel displays.
  • In view of the shortcomings of said known device, the inventor of the present invention studied hard and devised an improved artistic display rack.
  • SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • Accordingly, an object of the present invention is to provide an artistic display rack comprising a base, an interior hung board mounting a flat screen display and an exterior protective lid covering the base.
  • Another object of the present invention is to provide an artistic display rack comprising a base, an interior hung board mounting a flat screen display and an exterior protective lid covering the base; wherein the base further includes a frame, at least two square tubes, an axle sleeve, a plurality of slide rail seats, a plurality of drive elements, a plurality of steel rope wheels and a plurality of steel rope wheel retaining seats; and the drive elements driving the relative movement of the interior hung boar and the exterior protective lid.
  • Still another object of the present invention is to provide an artistic display rack comprising a base, an interior hung board mounting a flat screen display and an exterior protective lid covering the base; wherein the base further includes a frame, at least two square tubes, an axle sleeve, a plurality of slide rail seats, a plurality of drive elements, a plurality of steel rope wheels and a plurality of steel rope wheel retaining seats; and the first slide rail seats parallel to each other disposed on the bilateral of the frame, the square tubes positioned on the frame and connecting to the second slide rail seats at each end to separate the frame into an outer part and an inner part, the steel rope wheel retaining seats disposed on the frame and connected to the steel ropes, the steel ropes orientating horizontally or longitudinally, the axle sleeves mounted on the frame comprising a set of drive structure, and the set of drive structure of the base can drive the relative movement of the interior hung boar and the exterior protective.
  • Furthermore, an interior hung board could mount a flat screen display or provide a fitting platform disposed a flat screen display, and the interior hung board relative to the second slide rails seats of the base is positioned a plurality of slide rails parallel with one another; an exterior protective lid covers the base, on the bilateral of the exterior protective lid seated at least one slide rails corresponding to the first slide rail seats of the base, and on the outward surface of the exterior protective lid mounted on a fitting fine art.
  • Yet another object of the invention is to provide an artistic display rack mounting a fitting fine art as well as covering or showing a flat screen display. Such fitting fine arts as paintings could be installed on the outward surface of the external protective lid of the rack, decorating the rack to fit the whole design of furniture and interior arrangement. In view of the advantages the present invention provided, it would make one feel more comfortable and further please to one's eye.
  • Other objects and advantages of the present invention will become apparent from the following description, the accompanying drawings and the appended claims.

  • The foregoing and other objects, features and advantages of the present invention will be more readily understood upon consideration of the following detailed first and second preferred embodiment's description of the invention, taken in conjunction with the following drawing.
  • With reference to FIG. 1 and FIG. 2, respectively showing an exploded view and perspective view of the artistic display rack of the preferred embodiment according to the invention. As shown in the figures, the artistic display rack 1 that can cover or show a flat screen display comprises a base 2, an interior hung board 3, and an exterior protective lid 4.
  • Further, the base 2 includes a frame 21 including a left frame and a right frame, at least two square tubes 22, an axle sleeve 23, a plurality of first slide rail seats 24, a plurality of second slide rail seats 25, a plurality of steel rope wheels 27, a plurality of steel rope wheel retaining seats 26, a plurality of drive elements 28 such as steel ropes, chains, belts or ropes.
  • First slide rail seats 24 parallel to each other disposed on the bilateral of the frame 21 could match slide rails 43 of the exterior protective lid 4, enabling the base 2 to communicate with the exterior protective lid 4. Both of the square tubes 22 opposite to each other are positioned on the frame 21, and connect to second slide rail seats 25 at their each end, separating the frame 21 into an outer part and an inner part. The inner part of the frame 21 provides a platform where the second slide rail seats 25 communicate with and orientate the second slide rails 31 of the interior hung board 3. The frame 2 fixed to the wall by being screwed fixation or suspension with a plurality of holes 211 disposed on the frame 21. Steel balls 241 and 251 also disposed inside the first and the second rails seats 24 and 25 to facilitate the upward or downward movement more fluently.
  • The steel rope wheel retaining seats 26, which can direct either horizontally or longitudinally, is connected to the steel rope wheels 27 positioned on the frame 21.
  • In addition, the axle sleeves 23 mounted on the frame 21, comprises a set of drive structure 5 including at least one of the following elements: a plurality of drive elements constructed of an axis 51 (selectively by steel ropes, chains, belts or ropes), a plurality of axle bearings 52, a pump 54, and all kinds of fixing elements 53. The profile of the axle sleeves 23 and the set of drive structure 5 control the drive elements 28 communicating the interior hung board 3 with the exterior protective lid 4, to drive the movement of the exterior protective lid 4 and its inner part on the rail of the first and the second rails seats 24, 25, whether upwardly, downwardly or outwardly.
  • The interior hung board 3 could provide a fitting platform, which can have a flat screen display 7 such as plasma TV, or LCD put on it. There is a plurality of slide rails 31 relative to the second slide rail seats 25 positioned parallel with each other on the undersurface of the interior hung board 3.
  • The exterior protective lid 4 could cover, mate and match the base 2 to protect the base 2, the interior hung board 3 mounted on the base 2, and the flat screen display 7. A fitting fine art such as a painting 6 could also be mounted on the outward surface of the exterior protective lid 4 as the ornament. Seat 41 mounted inwardly one foot at the bilateral of the exterior protective lid 4, having one first slide rails 42, wherein the first slide rails 42 mated to the first slide rail seats 24 of the base 2. Through a hinge apparatus 411 annexed to the feet seats 41, the feet seats 41 become foldable and compressible while moving or garnering. Because the outward surface of the exterior protective lid 4 could be designed to be an inwardly dented form, the art such as a painting 6 can directly be mounted by means of insertion or anchor.
  • A fitting fine art is hung to exterior protective lid 4 with the suspender attached to the rim of the surface or the periphery of exterior protective lid 4 to be as ornaments. Therefore, the artistic rack 1 could be fitted into the whole interior decoration to make end users feel more comfortable. As shown in FIG. 2, illustrating the assemble of the artistic display rack with the flat screen display concealed inside it, therefore the artistic rack 1 is served to a hung artistic ornament when the exterior lid 4 covers the display 7.
  • When a user wants to watch TV, a flat screen display 7 concealed inside the interior hung board 3, will be pulled out in a pre-determined direction by receiving a drive force employed by the drive structure 5. In following embodiments related to the invention, the interior hung board 3 is pulled out downwardly after the actuation of the embodiment, pushing the flat screen display outside the artistic display rack 1. Simultaneously, the foresaid drive force employed by the drive structure 5 also lifts the exterior protective lid 4 up. The shift of the interior hung board 3 and the exterior protective board 4 represents a relative upwardly and downwardly open-movement, and also can exhibit a relative close-movement to reposition when garnered, wherein the exterior protective lid 4 and the interior hung board 3 respectively connect to the first and the second slide rail seats 24, 25 mounted on the base 2, and are driven by the direction of the drive structure 5 and the steel rope 28, to complete practical push or garner action.
  • Next, as shown in FIG. 3A and FIG. 3B, showing a schematic perspective view of the artistic display rack when in fold of the preferred embodiment according to the invention. There are several folding points 412 distributed on the feet seats 41 of the exterior protective lid 4 and seated on a hinge apparatus 411. Through a hinge apparatus 411 annexed to the feet seats 41, the feet seats 41 become foldable and compressible while moving or garnering
  • With reference to FIG. 4A, FIG. 4B and FIG. 4C, they respectively show a cross-sectional schematic perspective view of the drive structure and distribution of drive elements, and the operating schematic view of the artistic display rack of the first preferred embodiment according to the invention. The artistic display rack 1A is fixed to the wall through screwed fixation or suspension. A fitting painting 6 can be mounted on the outward surface of the exterior protective lid 4A. Therefore, as shown in FIG. 4B the artistic rack 1 could be fitted into the whole interior decoration to make end users feel more comfortable. The artistic display rack will eliminate the possibilities of damage to protect the flat screen display 7.
  • Referred to FIG. 4B and FIG. 4C, on the each bilateral of the exterior protective lid 4A is mounted inwardly one feet seat having one first slide rails 42A on it, wherein the first slide rails 42A connects, matches and mates to the first slide rail seats 24A of the base. Based on the above-said assemble, the base, the interior board mounted on the base, and the flat screen display 7 will be covered and further protected, not easily broken when received an external force. When a user wants to watch TV, the interior hung board 3A with an installment of a flat screen display 7 will be pulled out downwardly by receiving a drive force employed by the drive structure 5. Meanwhile, the flat screen display 7 is pushed outside the artistic display rack 1A. This embodiment principally describes the downward and upward movement of the interior hung board 3A, with the exterior protective lid 4A immobilized. In other words, the shift of the interior hung board 3A represents a downward open-movement when the display mounted on it is going to be used, and also can exhibit an upward close-movement to reposition when the display mounted on and will be garnered, shown as FIG. 4B.
  • With reference with FIG. 4A, illustrates a specific mechanism of the above-mentioned action. The interior hung board 3A could complete the downward and upward movement with the exterior protective lid 4A immobilized, the steel ropes 28A, 28A (drive elements) do not connect to the feet seats of the exterior protective lid 4A, wherein drive element retaining seats 511 are fixed on the one end of the steel rope 28A and the other end of the steel rope 28A to orientate with the steel rope wheel 27A, further connecting to drilled heads 32A disposed on one side of the interior hung board 3A. The steel rope wheel 27A can be constantly immobilized in a horizontal or longitudinal direction. The steel rope wheel 28A is identical to steel rope 29A. The steel rope wheel 27A can also be constantly immobilized in a horizontal or longitudinal direction. When the mechanism starts to actuate, a pump 54 will direct an axis to rotate in a constant direction. For example, the axis 51 rotates rightward when the open-movement is proceeding, while the axis 51 rotates leftward when the close-movement is proceeding. Specifically, a drive element retaining seat 511 is attached to an axis 51 to facilitate its (511) leftward or rightward displacement along the axis 51, when the axis 51 starts to rotate leftward or rightward according to the direct of the pump 54. Afterwards, the drive element retaining seats 511 will further tighten or loosen the steel ropes 28A and 29A, pushing the interior hung board 3A outside the artistic display rack 1A (as shown in FIG. 4B) or pulling the interior hung board 3A back to its original position (as shown in FIG. 4C).
  • With reference to FIG. 5A, FIG. 5B and FIG. 5C, respectively illustrating a cross-sectional schematic perspective view of the drive structure and distribution of drive elements the artistic display rack, and the operating schematic view of the artistic display rack of the second preferred embodiment according to the invention. The structure of the second embodiment is almost identical to the first embodiment, and the artistic display rack 1B is fixed to the wall by screwed fixation or suspension.
  • While a user wants to watch TV, a flat screen display 7 concealed inside the interior hung board 3B, will be pulled out downwardly by receiving a drive force employed by the drive structure 5, to push the flat screen display 7 outside the artistic display rack 1. Simultaneously, the drive structure 5 is to lift the exterior protective lid 4B up. The shift of the interior hung board 3B and the exterior protective board 4B respectively represents a relative upwardly and downwardly open-movement (as shown in FIG. 5C), and a relative close-movement to reposition when garnered (as shown in FIG. 5B)
  • Referring to FIG. 5A, it illustrates a specific mechanism of the above-mentioned action. With the interior hung board 3B to complete the downward and upward movement of the exterior protective lid 4B lift up, the steel ropes 28B, 281B, 29B, 291B individually connected to the drilled heads 32B and 43B to mount on the interior hung board 3B and the exterior protective lid 4B. One end of the steel rope 28B is fixed on the drive element retaining seats 511, and the other end of the steel rope 281B is directed by the steel rope wheel 27B, connected to the drilled heads 32B mounted on one side of the interior hung board 3B. Also, one end of the steel rope 281B is fixed on the drive element retaining seats 511, and the other end of the steel rope 28B is directed by the steel rope wheel 27B, connecting to the drilled heads 32B mounted on one side of the interior hung board 3B. The steel rope wheel 27B can be constantly immobilized in a horizontal or longitudinal direction.
  • The steel rope 29B is operated as the same as the steel rope wheel 28B, one end of the other steel rope 29B is fixed on the drive element retaining seats 511, and the other end of the steel rope 29B is directed by the steel rope wheel 27B, connecting the drilled heads 43B disposed on the other side of the exterior protective board 4B. The steel rope wheel 27B can also be constantly immobilized in a horizontal or longitudinal direction. The steel rope 291B has the same function as the steel rope wheel 281B, one end of the other steel rope 291B is fixed on the drive element retaining seats 511, and the other end of the steel rope 291B is directed by the steel rope wheel 27B, connected to the drilled heads 43B disposed on the other side of the exterior protective board 4B. The steel rope wheel 27B can also be constantly immobilized in a horizontal or longitudinal direction.
  • When the mechanism starts to actuate, a pump 54 will direct an axis 51 to rotate in a constant direction. For example, the axis 51 rotates rightward when the open-movement is proceeding, while the axis 51 rotates leftward when the close-movement is proceeding. Specifically, a drive element retaining seat 511 such as mobile screws is attached to a axis 51 to facilitate its (511) displacing leftward or rightward along the axis 51, when the axis 51 starts to rotate leftward or rightward based on the direct of the pump 54. Afterwards, the drive element retaining seat 511 will further tighten or loosen the steel rope 28B, 281B, 29B, 291B, pushing the interior hung board 3B downward outside the artistic display rack 11B and pushing the exterior protective lid 4B upward outside the artistic display rack 1B (as shown in FIG. 5B), or pulling the interior hung board 3A back to its original position (as shown in FIG. 4C).
  • Various embodiments and changes could be made thereunto without departing from the broad spirit and scope of the invention. The above-described embodiment is intended to illustrate the present invention, not to limit the scope of the present invention.
  • The scope of the present invention is shown by the attached claims rather than the embodiment. Various modifications made within the meaning of an equivalent of the claims of the invention and within the claims are to be regarded to be in the scope of the present invention.

Claims (15)

1. An artistic display rack, comprising:
a base,
an interior hung board mounting a flat screen display, and
an exterior protective lid covering the base.
2. The artistic display rack of claim 1, wherein the base further including a frame, at least two square tubes, an axle sleeve, a plurality of first slide rail seats, a plurality of second slide rail seats, a plurality of steel rope wheels, a plurality of steel rope wheel retaining seats, and a plurality of drive elements, and the first slide rail seats parallel to each other disposed on the bilateral of the frame, the square tubes positioned on the frame and connecting to the second slide rail seats at each end to separate the frame into an outer part and an inner part, the steel rope wheel retaining seats disposed on the frame and connected to the steel ropes, the steel ropes orientating horizontally or longitudinally, the axle sleeves mounted on the frame comprising a set of drive structure, and the drive elements driving the relative movement of the interior hung boar and the exterior protective lid.
3. The artistic display rack of claim 2, further including a plurality of slide rails positioned parallel with one another is on the undersurface of the interior hung board relative to the second slide rails seats of the base.
4. The artistic display rack of claim 2, on the bilateral of the exterior protective lid seated at least one slide rails corresponding to the first slide rail seats of the base, on the outward surface of the exterior protective lid mounted on a fitting fine art
5. The artistic display rack of claim 2, wherein the drive structure comprises at least one of the following elements: a plurality of drive elements, a plurality of axle bearings, pump, and all kinds of fixing elements
6. The artistic display rack of claim 2, wherein the drive elements is axis, steel ropes, chains, belts or ropes.
7. The artistic display rack of claim 2, wherein the frame is constructed by a left frame and a right frame.
8. The artistic display rack of claim 7, wherein a plurality of holes is seated on the frame to fix the frame on a wall by screwed fixation or suspension.
9. The artistic display rack of claim 5, wherein the fixing elements are screws, bolts, or screw nuts.
10. The artistic display rack of claim 6, wherein a drive element retaining seat is mounted on the drive element.
11. The artistic display rack of claim 1, wherein at least one fold point is seated on the feet seats of the exterior protective lid.
12. The artistic display rack of claim 1, wherein the exterior protective lid is designed to be as an inwardly dented form.
13. The artistic display rack of claim 12, wherein a fitting fine art can be mounted inside the inwardly dented space of the exterior protective lid.
14. The artistic display rack of claim 1 further includes a suspender attached to the rim of the surface or the periphery of exterior protective lid.
15. The artistic display rack of claim 1, wherein the flat screen display is a plasma TV, thin film transistor (“TFT”) display, plane TV or LCD.
