- the character key group 215 has a key arrangement that is substantially symmetrical.
- the character display provided on the surface of each key is different for each key group so that the character key group 215, the cursor / execution key group 217, and the function key group 219 can be distinguished in color. It is a color scheme.
- characters and symbols associated with the main function and subfunction of each key are displayed (all shown). (Omitted).
- the color difference between the key top color scheme and the color scheme of the characters and graphic symbols associated with the main function is maximized.
- the brightness difference between the color scheme of characters and graphic symbols associated with the main function and the color scheme of characters and graphic symbols associated with the secondary function is expressed as a percentage of the brightness difference between the minimum and maximum. It is desirable to be about 40%. Thereby, even if each key is small, the main function and subfunction which the key has can be easily visually recognized.
- the character key group 215 has a plurality of character keys 215a arranged in a matrix with a space between each other, and a shift key 215b between the left hands.
- the character key 215a is formed in a vertically long shape so as to suppress an erroneous operation and press the entire width of the character key group 215.
- the cursor / execution key group 217 includes an execution key 217a and four cursor keys 217b arranged so as to surround the execution key 217a.
- the function key group 219 has a plurality of function keys 219 a arranged so as to surround the three directions of the cursor / execution key group 217.

- the outer shell of the handling part 5 is formed in a constricted shape when viewed from above. Specifically, the portion corresponding to the character key group 215 in the handling portion 5 is narrowest and widens from this portion toward the main mechanism portion 3 at a steep angle, while the handle portion 7 It expands at a gentle angle. Thereby, when the tape printer 1 is held, it can be gripped with a fit.
- the handling part surface 21A, the handling part back surface 23A, the left and right handling part side faces 25A, the left and right handling part surface inclined surfaces 27A, and the left and right handling part back inclined surfaces 29A constituting the periphery of the handling part 5 are mutually crossed.
- the portion constitutes an obtuse apex, and functions as an anti-slip in the circumferential direction when the tape printer 1 is held by hand. Therefore, the handling part 5 has an outer shell having both ease of holding and difficulty of sliding.
- a first anti-slip portion 231 is formed on the handling portion rear surface 23 ⁇ / b> A of the handling portion 5.
- the first anti-slip portion 231 is formed by a shallow groove portion 231a formed in the battery lid 77, and serves as the position of the little finger or ring finger when the handling portion 5 is held with both hands (see FIGS. 3 and 4). That is, when the little finger or ring finger is caught by the edge (step part) of the groove part 231a, it becomes slippery. In this case, the index fingers of both hands come into contact with the pair of sixth anti-slip portions 187.
- second anti-slip portions 233 are formed on the left and right handling portion back inclined surfaces 29A, respectively.
- the second anti-slip portion 233 is formed of an elongated and low protrusion 233a, and extends along the battery lid 77 (see FIGS. 3 and 4).
- the second anti-slip part 233 comes into contact with the abdomen of the little finger and the ring finger when the handling part 5 is held with one hand. Also in this case, the index finger contacts the sixth anti-slip portion 187.
- 3rd slip prevention part 235 is formed in left and right handling part side 25A, respectively.
- the third anti-slip portion 235 includes a shallow groove portion 235a.
- a fourth anti-slip portion 237 is formed adjacent to the third anti-slip portion 235 on the front end side of the left and right handling portion side surfaces 25A (see FIGS. 1 to 4). Also in this case, the fourth anti-slip portion 237 is constituted by a shallow groove portion 237a.
- fifth anti-slip portions 239 are formed on the front end sides of the left and right handling portion back inclined surfaces 29A, respectively.
- the fifth anti-slip portion 239 is configured with an elongated and low protrusion 239a, as with the second anti-slip portion 233 (see FIGS. 3 and 4).
- the fifth anti-slip portion 239 comes into contact with the index finger when a person with a small hand grips the handling portion 5 with one hand or both hands. That is, the index finger of the person with a large hand contacts the sixth anti-slip part 187, and the index finger of the person with a small hand contacts the fifth anti-slip part 239.
- the handle portion 7 is a part that holds the tape printer 1 so as to be suspended, and is used when the tape printer 1 is carried.
- the handle portion 7 includes a grip portion 243 that faces the proximal end of the handling portion 5 across a finger insertion gap 241 for inserting a finger, and a handling portion from both ends of the grip portion 243. 5 and a pair of left and right grip support portions 245 extending to the base end of 5.
- the pair of grip support portions 245 extend in an inverted “C” shape toward the front side, and the pair of grip support portions 245, the handling portion 5, and the grip portion 243 are integrally formed.
- the grip portion 243 is gripped so as to be gripped by the thumb applied to the outside and the four fingers other than the thumb addressed to the finger insertion gap 241 side.
- the back surface side of the grip portion 243 is formed in an arc shape in cross section, and the abdomen of four fingers contacts this portion. Thereby, the grip part 243 which is easy to hold is configured.
- the finger insertion gap 241 is a space into which four fingers are inserted when the grip portion 243 is gripped.
- the finger insertion gap 241 has a sufficient gap size with the handling portion 5 and has an inverted trapezoidal shape in plan view. That is, it is formed in a trapezoidal shape with the grip portion 243 side as an upper side. Thereby, the grip part 243 can be gripped without difficulty. Further, as described above, the finger insertion gap 241 also serves as a finger insertion gap when the battery 221 is attached to and detached from the battery housing portion 75.
- the grip portion 243 is arranged close to the front side so that a sufficient gap is generated between the grip portion 243 and the desktop D. This makes it difficult for the finger gripping the grip portion 243 or the gripped finger to come into contact with the desktop D, so that the grip portion 243 can be easily gripped or released from the grip portion 243 when placed flat.
- the handling portion 5 that is a handheld portion is formed in a constricted shape. For this reason, while being able to hold the handling part 5 with the feeling which a hand adjusts, the slip of a longitudinal direction is suppressed. Therefore, the tape printing apparatus 1 can be gripped with a good fit with less slipping, and handling properties can be improved. Therefore, in particular, key operations and the like on the main keyboard portion 71 can be performed stably.
- the periphery of the handling unit 5 includes a handling unit surface 21A, a handling unit back surface 23A, left and right handling unit side surfaces 25A, left and right handling unit surface inclined surfaces 27A, and left and right handling unit back inclined surfaces 29A.
- these surfaces form an obtuse top with respect to each other, and serve as a slip stopper in the circumferential direction when the tape printer 1 is held by hand. Therefore, the slip of the handling part 5 in the circumferential direction is suppressed, and the tape printer 1 can be stably held in key operation or the like.
- first to sixth anti-slip parts 231, 233, 235, 237, 239, and 187 provided in the handling part 5 and the main mechanism part 3 prevent the gripped hand (finger) from slipping. Therefore, also in this respect, the tape printer 1 can be stably held.
- skid part of embodiment was comprised by the shallow groove
