Abstract

La présente invention réduit la consommation d'énergie par un ventilateur de refroidissement d'un dispositif de traitement d'informations. A cet effet, selon l'invention, une unité de commande réduit la vitesse de rotation du ventilateur de refroidissement installé dans le dispositif de traitement d'information, et, si le dispositif de traitement d'informations fonctionne toujours sans aucun problème, elle commande le dispositif de traitement d'informations à une première vitesse de rotation du ventilateur de refroidissement, à savoir à la vitesse de rotation réduite. Une unité de transmission transmet la première vitesse de rotation à un dispositif de gestion. L'unité de commande reçoit une seconde vitesse de rotation à partir du dispositif de gestion, qui stockera la première vitesse de rotation en association avec une information d'identification pour identifier l'information de traitement, et qui, si la seconde vitesse de rotation est inférieure à la première vitesse de rotation, commandera la vitesse de rotation du ventilateur de refroidissement sur la base de la seconde vitesse de rotation.
