Abstract

La présente invention concerne un dispositif commutateur électrique à pôles multiples commandé par un actionneur à mouvement rectiligne pour ouvrir et fermer alternativement la connexion électrique des pôles du commutateur. Chaque pôle du commutateur est formé par un contact mobile et deux contacts fixes, lesquels contacts mobiles sont produits sous forme d'une plaque unique de contacts qui présentent des surfaces supérieure et inférieure, de sorte que dans la position fermée du commutateur, seule la surface supérieure ou inférieure de chacun des contacts d'une plaque mobile, se met en contact avec ses contacts fixes associés du premier et du second groupe. La position relative entre le contact mobile et les contacts fixes d'un pôle du commutateur, alterne d'un pôle aux pôles adjacents. Le commutateur est très bon marché et très facile à fabriquer, dans le même temps il peut supprimer de manière plus efficace les arcs électriques qui se sont créés pendant les opérations d'interruption et de fermeture du courant.
