Definitions
- the invention relates to the use of an adhesive layer in a tube of an endoscope.
- the invention relates to an endoscope, in particular a video endoscope, with a tube which encloses an inner space, wherein an inner tube is provided in the inner space.
- the video unit which is also referred to as R-unit, inserted into a tube, in particular a cladding tube.
- the video unit comprises an inner tube into which optical elements and also a video camera or at least one light-sensitive chip, such as a CCD chip, are integrated.
- the envelope is electrically insulating.
- the inner tube Due to the close fit between the inner tube and the cladding tube or generally the tube of the endoscope, in which the inner tube is introduced, it comes during assembly to a corresponding friction.
- the front edge of the inner tube rubs against the inner wall of the tube of the endoscope, so that impurities can detach from the inner surface of the tube or can also dissolve contaminants from the edge of the inner tube.
- contaminants may include particles which, if they enter the optical region of the endoscope, may cause image disturbances.
- This object is achieved by the use of an adhesive layer in a tube of an endoscope, in particular a video endoscope, for receiving or retaining particles present in an interior space of the tube.
- an adhesive layer in a tube of an endoscope causes the contaminant (s) constituting the contaminant to be trapped and locked in place so that they do not enter the optic or optical path so that image interference can be effectively prevented.
- the particles include, for example, abrasion.
- the abrasion may in particular be due to the tube or cladding tube or the inner tube, or to a material disposed around the inner tube, such as a shrink tube.
- the adhesive layer is preferably arranged in the distal region of the endoscope in the vicinity of an optical element, in particular on an outer jacket of an inner tube, which in particular has a video device.
- the inner tube in this case preferably comprises a socket for receiving an optical unit or is a socket for receiving an optical unit.
- an endoscope in particular video endoscope, with a tube which encloses an interior, wherein in the interior an inner tube is provided, which is further developed in that provided in the interior of an open towards an adhesive layer side is to take in the pipe and / or in the interior of existing particles or hold.
- the adhesive layer is freely accessible after the introduction of the inner tube into the tube, ie. especially after the mounting of the endoscope.
- the inner tube is partially wrapped by an elastic material to provide an accurate fit with the tube. It is preferably provided a close fit.
- the elastic material may for example be a shrink tube.
- the outer diameter of the inner tube with the elastic material that wraps around the inner tube is greater than or equal to or slightly smaller than the inner diameter of the tube.
- the outer diameter is in particular the Outer diameter of the wrapped around the inner tube elastic material.
- the adhesive layer may be provided, for example, on the inner wall of the tube. However, it is preferred if the region of the open, accessible adhesive layer is attached to the outside at a distal end of the inner tube, wherein the openly accessible adhesive layer is provided with a predeterminable distance to the inner wall of the tube. For this purpose, it may be provided to make the inner tube itself relatively smaller in diameter and to fill up the distance to the outer tube in sections by an elastic material and / or to provide the distal region of the inner tube smaller than a further region of the inner tube which is slightly away from the distal one Range is, wherein the outer diameter of the inner tube in the distal region is smaller than the outer diameter of the further region of the inner tube.
- the adhesive of the adhesive layer is still sticky at one time, i. E. not yet tied, in which the endoscope is completely mounted.
- the adhesive of the adhesive layer has a longer setting time than another for bonding parts of the endo-adhesive. skops used adhesive.
- the setting time is preferably in a range of 12 hours to several months.
- the adhesive is not yet set in the moment in which the endoscope is completely mounted or at least the inner tube is finally set or introduced relative to the outer tube or introduced into the end position.
- the inner tube has a smaller diameter in the distal region than away from the distal region.
- the adhesive is a silicone adhesive.
- the adhesive may be applied directly to the distal region of the inner tube and / or in a distal region of the inner wall of the tube.
- the adhesive may be applied to the outside circumference on a type of double-sided adhesive tape, for example based on polyamide or Kapton or on a heat-shrinkable tube, preferably a relatively thin heat-shrinkable tube.
- the inner tube is a video unit.
- Fig. 1 is a schematic sectional view of a part of an endoscope according to the invention.
- Fig. 1 shows a schematic sectional view of part of an endoscope 1 2 according to the invention.
- a window 17 ' with a lens 19 is introduced in the distal region 16 of the endoscope 12, which is a corresponding light beam from outside the endoscope 12 in the direction of a video unit, in this Case comprising a window 17, a lens 1 8, a lens 18 ' and a video camera 22, which are mounted in an inner tube 21, forwards.
- FIG. 1 shows a heat-shrinkable tube 24 which is arranged around the inner tube 21 at a distance from the distal end 25 of the inner tube 21.
- the shrink tube 24 serves to allow a relatively tight fit or exact fit of the inner tube 21 in the tube 1 1.
- the shrink tube 24 is electrically insulating.
- the particles 1 5 can also reach an only schematically indicated adhesive layer 10 ' , which is applied in the interior 1 3 of the tube 1 1 on the inner shell or the inner surface of the tube 1 1.
- cables 23 are shown which supply the video camera 22 with electrical energy and can conduct correspondingly recorded data to the proximal end of the endoscope 1 2.
