Definitions
- the present invention relates to a system and method for separating carbon dioxide (CO 2 ) from natural gas.

This method heats the absorbent solution that has absorbed CO 2, because to release CO 2 needs to be played back, particularly if the CO 2 concentration processing a high natural gas, a great deal is renewable energy, operating costs There is a problem that it takes very much.
- Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2009-113994 discloses a method in which the target gas is exhaust gas from a power plant, and the CO 2 is removed by a gas separation membrane after the exhaust gas is pressurized by a compressor of a gas turbine. The method using such a gas separation membrane is superior in operating cost to the amine absorption method.
- Gas separation membranes having excellent CO 2 selectivity with respect to methane (CH 4 ), which is the main component of natural gas, and having a high gas permeation rate have been developed. Such high-performance gas separation membranes are very There is a problem that it is expensive.

- the present inventors say that when CO 2 is separated from natural gas by a gas separation membrane, H 2 S and moisture contained in the natural gas are adsorbed on the separation membrane, thereby reducing the performance of the separation membrane. I found.
- CO 2 having a considerable concentration is removed from the natural gas supplied to the gas separation membrane, so that the partial pressure of other components contained in the natural gas increases.
- C2 and higher hydrocarbons also called natural gas liquid, NGL

- the natural gas supplied to the CO 2 separator 40 is increased in pressure, the partial pressure difference of CO 2 is expanded through the separation membrane 41, so that the gas permeation amount with respect to the area of the separation membrane is reduced. Can be improved.
- the equipment cost of an expensive separation membrane can be reduced.
- H 2 S is removed from the natural gas supplied to the CO 2 separator 40, it can be prevented that H 2 S is condensed and stays in the separation membrane 41 and deteriorates the separation membrane 41. Moreover, since the natural gas supplied to the CO 2 separator 40 has moisture and high-boiling components (C2 or higher hydrocarbons) removed, the water and high-boiling components are condensed in the separation membrane 41, and the separation membrane 41 Can be prevented from being blocked.
