Abstract
Description
本発明は、日本国特許出願:特願2015-013737号(2015年1月27日出願)に基づくものであり、同出願の全記載内容は引用をもって本書に組み込み記載されているものとする。
本発明はネットワーク管理およびオーケストレーション技術に関し、特にネットワーク機能仮想化(Network Functions Virtualization)の管理とオーケストレーションに適用して好適な管理装置とシステムと装置と方法とプログラムに関する。
(a)VMで稼働しているゲストOS(Operating System)やソフトウェアを停止させずに別の物理マシンに移動させるVMのライブマイグレーションや、

本発明の目的の一つは、ライブマイグレーションのための準備や後処理に要する時間を短縮しサービス中断等を抑制可能とする管理装置、システム、方法、プログラムを提供することにある。

図10は、実施形態1-3の動作シーケンスを説明する図である。なお、実施形態1-3のシステムの基本構成は図5と同様である。実施形態1-3では、NFVI0のメンテナンスの要因を、NFVI0の障害発生とし、NFVI0からの障害通知がVIMからOrchestratorに直接通知され、Orchestratorからメンテナンスモード遷移要求をVIMに直接送信している。
図11は、実施形態1-4の動作シーケンスを説明する図である。なお、実施形態1-4のシステムの基本構成は図5と同様である。実施形態1-4は、実施形態1-3と同様、NFVI0のメンテナンスの要因を、NFVI0の障害発生としているが、実施形態1-4では、VIMからVNFM経由でOrchestratorにNFVI0の障害通知が送信される。OrchestratorからのNFVI0のメンテナンスモード遷移要求はVNFM経由でVIMへ送信する。VIMからOrchestratorへの障害復旧通知、OrchestratorからVIMへのメンテナンスモード解除要求もVNFM経由で送信される。
図12は、実施形態1-5の動作シーケンスを説明する図である。なお、実施形態1-5のシステムの基本構成は図5と同様である。実施形態1-5では、端末(Terminal)から保守者(もしくは外部のノード)の操作等によりVNFM経由でVIMへ指示し、メンテナンスモードへ遷移する。
図13は、実施形態1-6の動作シーケンスを説明する図である。なお、実施形態1-6のシステムの基本構成は図5と同様である。実施形態1-6では、NFVI0の障害通知はVIMからVNFMに送信され、VNFMからのNFVI0のメンテナンスモード遷移要求がVIMへ送信される。NFVI0からの障害復旧通知は、VIMからVNFMに送信され、VNFMからVIMへのメンテナンスモード解除要求もVNFM経由で送信される。

スタンバイ系の前記第1の仮想デプロイメントユニット(VDU0)が第3の仮想化基盤に移動したのち、メンテナンスが終了すると、前記第1の仮想化基盤のメンテナンスモードを解除するメンテナンスモード解除処理と、

Claims (27)
- 第1の仮想化基盤(Network Functions Virtualization Infrastructure: NFVI)をメンテナンスモードに遷移するメンテナンスモード設定部と、
メンテナンスモードの前記第1の仮想化基盤上の仮想デプロイメントユニット(Virtualization Deployment Unit: VDU)に対して第2の仮想化基盤への移動指示を少なくとも行う移動制御部と、
前記第1の仮想化基盤のメンテナンスモードを解除するメンテナンスモード解除部と、
を備えた、ことを特徴とする管理装置。 - 前記管理装置が、仮想化基盤管理装置(Virtualized Infrastructure Manager :VIM)を構成し、
前記第1の仮想化基盤をメンテナンスモードに遷移する要求と、
前記第1の仮想化基盤のメンテナンスモードを解除する要求と、
の少なくとも一つを前記管理装置(VIM)に対して送信する送信元が、
端末、又は、ネットワーク機能仮想化(Network Functions Virtualization: NFV)オーケストレータ(NFV Orchestrator: NFVO)、又は、仮想ネットワーク機能(Virtual Network Function: VNF)を管理する仮想ネットワーク機能管理装置(VNF Manager: VNFM)であり、
前記送信元からの要求に基づき、
前記メンテナンスモード設定部による前記第1の仮想化基盤のメンテナンスモードへの遷移、及び、前記メンテナンスモード解除部による前記第1の仮想化基盤のメンテナンスモードの解除の少なくとも一つを行う、ことを特徴とする請求項1記載の管理装置。 - 前記端末は、保守端末、又は、EMS(Element Management System)、又はOSS(Operations Support Systems)である、ことを特徴とする請求項2記載の管理装置。
- 前記端末を送信元とする、前記第1の仮想化基盤をメンテナンスモードに遷移する要求を、前記ネットワーク機能仮想化オーケストレータ(NFVO)と前記仮想ネットワーク機能管理装置(VNFM)の少なくとも一つを介して受信する、ことを特徴とする請求項3記載の管理装置。
- 前記端末を送信元とする、前記第1の仮想化基盤のメンテナンスモードを解除する要求を、前記ネットワーク機能仮想化オーケストレータ(NFVO)と、前記仮想ネットワーク機能管理装置(VNFM)の少なくとも一つを介して受信する、ことを特徴とする請求項3記載の管理装置。
- 前記第1の仮想化基盤からの障害通知を前記ネットワーク機能仮想化オーケストレータ(NFVO)に直接又は前記仮想ネットワーク機能管理装置(VNFM)を介して通知し、
前記ネットワーク機能仮想化オーケストレータ(NFVO)を送信元とする、前記第1の仮想化基盤をメンテナンスモードに遷移する要求を受信する、ことを特徴とする請求項2記載の管理装置。 - 前記仮想ネットワーク機能管理装置(VNFM)を送信元とする、前記第1の仮想化基盤をメンテナンスモードに遷移する要求を受信する、ことを特徴とする請求項6記載の管理装置。
- 前記移動制御部が、
前記第1の仮想化基盤上の仮想デプロイメントユニット(VDU)に対して前記第2の仮想化基盤への移動指示を送信する移動指示送信部と、
前記仮想デプロイメントユニット(VDU)の前記第2の仮想化基盤への移動完了通知を受信する移動完了受信部と、
を備えている、ことを特徴とする請求項1乃至7のいずれか1項に記載の管理装置。 - 第1の仮想化基盤をメンテナンスモードに遷移するメンテナンスモード設定部と、
前記第1の仮想化基盤上のアクティブ系の第1の仮想デプロイメントユニット(VDU0)と、第2の仮想化基盤上のスタンバイ系の第2の仮想デプロイメントユニット(VDU1)との間での系切り替え指示を少なくとも行う系切り替え制御部と、
前記第1の仮想化基盤のメンテナンスモードを解除するメンテナンスモード解除部と、
を備えたことを特徴とする管理装置。 - 前記系切り替え制御部が、
前記第1の仮想化基盤上のアクティブ系の前記第1の仮想デプロイメントユニット(VDU0)と前記第2の仮想化基盤上のスタンバイ系の前記第2の仮想デプロイメントユニット(VDU1)との間での前記系切り替え指示を送信する系切り替え指示送信部と、
前記第1の仮想デプロイメントユニット(VDU0)のスタンバイ系、前記第2の仮想デプロイメントユニット(VDU1)のアクティブ系への切り替えの完了通知を受信する系切り替え完了受信部と、
を備えている、ことを特徴とする請求項9記載の管理装置。 - 前記系切り替え完了受信部で系切り替えの完了通知を受信後、スタンバイ系の前記第1の仮想デプロイメントユニット(VDU0)が第3の仮想化基盤に移動し、前記第1の仮想化基盤のメンテナンスが終了したのち、前記メンテナンスモード解除部は、前記第1の仮想化基盤のメンテナンスモードを解除する、ことを特徴とする請求項10記載の管理装置。
- 前記仮想化基盤(NFVI)を制御する管理装置であって、前記メンテナンスモード設定部と前記メンテナンスモード解除部を備えた仮想化基盤管理装置(Virtualized Infrastructure Manager: VIM)を備え、
前記第1の仮想化基盤をメンテナンスモードに遷移する要求と、
前記第1の仮想化基盤のメンテナンスモードを解除する要求と、
の少なくとも一つを、前記仮想化基盤管理装置(VIM)に対して送信する送信元が、
端末、又は、前記仮想化基盤管理装置の上位装置であり、
前記端末又は上位装置からの要求に基づき、
前記メンテナンスモード設定部による前記第1の仮想化基盤をメンテナンスモードへ遷移、
前記メンテナンスモード解除部による前記第1の仮想化基盤のメンテナンスモードの解除の少なくとも一つを行う、ことを特徴とする請求項10又は11に記載の管理装置。 - 前記上位装置が、
ネットワーク機能仮想化オーケストレータ(NFV Orchestrator: NFVO)、又は、
仮想ネットワーク機能を管理する仮想ネットワーク機能管理装置(VNF Manager: VNFM)である、ことを特徴とする請求項12記載の管理装置。 - 前記仮想化基盤管理装置(VIM)は、前記端末を送信元とする、前記第1の仮想化基盤をメンテナンスモードに遷移する要求を、前記ネットワーク機能仮想化オーケストレータ(NFVO)、又は、前記仮想ネットワーク機能管理装置(VNFM)を介して、受信する、ことを特徴とする請求項13記載の管理装置。
- 前記仮想化基盤管理装置(VIM)は、前記端末を送信元とする、前記第1の仮想化基盤のメンテナンスモードを解除する要求を、前記ネットワーク機能仮想化オーケストレータ(NFVO)、又は、前記仮想ネットワーク機能管理装置(VNFM)を介して受信する、ことを特徴とする請求項14記載の管理装置。
- 前記仮想化基盤管理装置(VIM)は、前記第1の仮想化基盤からの障害通知を受信すると、前記ネットワーク機能仮想化オーケストレータ(NFVO)に直接又は、前記仮想ネットワーク機能管理装置(VNFM)を介して、通知し、
前記ネットワーク機能仮想化オーケストレータ(NFVO)を送信元とする、前記第1の仮想化基盤をメンテナンスモードに遷移する要求を受信する、ことを特徴とする請求項13記載の管理装置。 - 前記仮想化基盤管理装置(VIM)は、前記第1の仮想化基盤からの障害通知を受信すると、前記仮想ネットワーク機能管理装置(VNFM)に通知し、
前記仮想ネットワーク機能管理装置(VNFM)を送信元とする、前記第1の仮想化基盤をメンテナンスモードに遷移する要求を受信する、ことを特徴とする請求項13記載の管理装置。 - 前記仮想ネットワーク機能管理装置(VNFM)が、
前記系切り替え指示送信部と、前記系切り替え完了受信部を備え、
前記第1の仮想化基盤がメンテナンスモードへ遷移したことを前記仮想化基盤管理装置から受信すると、前記系切り替え指示を送信する、ことを特徴とする請求項16又は17記載の管理装置。 - 前記端末が、前記第1の仮想化基盤のメンテナンスモードへ遷移したことを前記仮想化基盤管理装置から受信すると、前記系切り替え指示送信部として、前記系切り替え指示を送信し、
前記端末が、前記系切り替え完了受信部として、前記系切り替え完了通知を受信する、ことを特徴とする請求項13記載の管理装置。 - 仮想マシンの実行基盤である仮想化基盤(Network Functions Virtualization Infrastructure: NFVI)を制御する仮想化基盤管理装置(Virtualized Infrastructure Manager: VIM)と、
第1及び第2の仮想化基盤と、
端末又は前記仮想化基盤管理装置の上位装置と、
を備え、
前記仮想化基盤管理装置が、
前記端末又は前記上位装置からの前記第1の仮想化基盤のメンテナンスモード遷移要求を受け、前記第1の仮想化基盤をメンテナンスモードに遷移させた上で、前記第1の仮想化基盤上の仮想デプロイメントユニット(Virtualization Deployment Unit: VDU)の前記第2の仮想化基盤への移動を指示し、
前記仮想デプロイメントユニットの前記第2の仮想化基盤への移動が完了し、前記第1の仮想化基盤のメンテナンスが終了すると、
前記端末又は前記上位装置からの前記第1の仮想化基盤のメンテナンスモード解除要求を受け、前記第1の仮想化基盤のメンテナンスモードを解除する、ことを特徴とするネットワーク管理システム。 - 仮想マシンの実行基盤である仮想化基盤(Network Functions Virtualization Infrastructure: NFVI)を制御する仮想化基盤管理装置(Virtualized Infrastructure Manager: VIM)と、
第1、第2、第3の仮想化基盤と、
前記仮想化基盤管理装置の上位装置と、
端末と、
を備え、
前記第1、第2の仮想化基盤上の第1、第2の仮想デプロイメントユニット(Virtualization Deployment Unit: VDU)がそれぞれアクティブ系、スタンバイ系の冗長構成とされ、
前記仮想化基盤管理装置が、
前記端末又は前記上位装置からの前記第1の仮想化基盤のメンテナンスモード遷移要求を受け、前記第1の仮想化基盤をメンテナンスモードに遷移させた上で、前記上位装置又は前記端末への通知を行い、
前記上位装置又は前記端末が、前記第1の仮想化基盤上の第1の仮想デプロイメントユニット(VDU0)と、前記第2の仮想化基盤上の第2の仮想デプロイメントユニット(VDU1)との系切り替えを指示し、
前記第1の仮想デプロイメントユニット(VDU0)がスタンバイ系、前記第2の仮想デプロイメントユニット(VDU1)がアクティブ系に切り替わる系切り替え完了通知を受信し、
前記第3の仮想化基盤上に前記第1の仮想デプロイメントユニット(VDU0)を移動させ、前記第1の仮想化基盤のメンテナンスが行われたのち、
前記仮想化基盤管理装置は、前記第1の仮想化基盤のメンテナンスモードを解除する、ことを特徴とするネットワーク管理システム。 - メンテナンス対象の第1の仮想化基盤(Network Functions Virtualization Infrastructure: NFVI)をメンテナンスモードに遷移し、
前記第1の仮想化基盤上の仮想デプロイメントユニット(Virtualization Deployment Unit: VDU)の第2の仮想化基盤への移動指示を送信し、
前記仮想デプロイメントユニット(VDU)の前記第2の仮想化基盤への移動が完了したことを受信し、メンテナンスが終了すると、前記第1の仮想化基盤のメンテナンスモードを解除する、ことを特徴とする管理方法。 - メンテナンス対象の第1の仮想化基盤をメンテナンスモードに遷移し、
前記第1の仮想化基盤上のアクティブ系の第1の仮想デプロイメントユニット(VDU0)と、第2の仮想化基盤上のスタンバイ系の第2の仮想デプロイメントユニット(VDU1)との間での系切り替え指示を送信し、
前記第1の仮想デプロイメントユニット(VDU0)のスタンバイ系、前記第2の仮想デプロイメントユニット(VDU1)のアクティブ系への切り替えが完了し、さらにスタンバイ系の前記第1の仮想デプロイメントユニット(VDU0)が第3の仮想化基盤に移動したのち、メンテナンスが終了すると、前記第1の仮想化基盤のメンテナンスモードを解除する、ことを特徴とする管理方法。 - 前記第1の仮想化基盤をメンテナンスモードに遷移する要求と、
前記第1の仮想化基盤のメンテナンスモードを解除する要求と、
の少なくとも一つを前記管理装置(VIM)に対して送信する送信元が、
端末又は上位装置であり、
前記端末又は前記上位装置からの要求に基づき、前記第1の仮想化基盤のメンテナンスモードへの遷移、及び、前記第1の仮想化基盤のメンテナンスモードの解除の少なくとも一つを行う、ことを特徴とする請求項23記載の管理方法。 - 前記上位装置は、ネットワーク機能仮想化(NFV)の管理および統合を行うオーケストレータ、又は、仮想ネットワーク機能(VNF)を管理する仮想ネットワーク機能(VNF)管理装置である、ことを特徴とする請求項24記載の管理方法。
- 第1の仮想化基盤をメンテナンスモードに遷移するメンテナンスモード設定処理と、
前記第1の仮想化基盤上の仮想デプロイメントユニット(VDU)に対して第2の仮想化基盤への移動指示を送信する移動指示送信処理と、
前記仮想デプロイメントユニット(VDU)の前記第2の仮想化基盤への移動完了通知を受信する移動完了受信処理と、
前記第1の仮想化基盤のメンテナンスモードを解除するメンテナンスモード解除処理と、
をコンピュータに実行させるプログラム。 - 第1の仮想化基盤をメンテナンスモードに遷移するメンテナンスモード設定処理と、
前記第1の仮想化基盤上のアクティブ系の第1の仮想デプロイメントユニット(VDU0)と、第2の仮想化基盤上のスタンバイ系の第2の仮想デプロイメントユニット(VDU1)との間での系切り替え指示を送信する系切り替え指示送信処理と、
前記第1の仮想デプロイメントユニット(VDU0)のスタンバイ系、前記第2の仮想デプロイメントユニット(VDU1)のアクティブ系への切り替えの完了通知を受信する系切り替え完了受信処理と、
スタンバイ系の前記第1の仮想デプロイメントユニット(VDU0)が第3の仮想化基盤に移動したのち、メンテナンスが終了すると、前記第1の仮想化基盤のメンテナンスモードを解除するメンテナンスモード解除処理と、
をコンピュータに実行させるプログラム。
