Abstract

Une meule de défibrage cylindrique a une surface externe qui comporte un abrasif. La surface externe définit une pluralité de creux et de méplats s'alternant de manière circonférentielle et s'étendant sur toute la surface externe de la meule de défibrage. Les méplats fournissent une zone active de meulage en surface tandis que les creux ne fournissent pas de zone active de meulage en surface. Chaque creux est défini par une paire de parois latérales séparées par une surface de base plane.
