Abstract
본 발명은 공중합체 특성에 영향을 미치는 단량체 평가 방법 및 이를 이용한 시스템에 관한 것으로, 보다 자세하게는 본 발명은 기존 방법으로는 평가할 수 없었던 단량체가 공중합체의 특성에 미치는 영향의 크기를 평가할 수 있는 새로운 방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 공중합체 특성에 영향을 미치는 단량체 평가 방법 및 이를 이용한 시스템은 단량체의 종류 또는 결합 방식을 고려하여 단량체가 공중합체 특성에 미치는 영향을 정량적으로 평가함으로써 공중합체 특성 변화 정도를 단량체 수준에서 예측할 수 있는 획기적인 방법이다.
Description
본 출원은 2014년 12월 17일 자 한국 특허 출원 제10-2014-0182226호에 기초한 우선권의 이익을 주장하며, 해당 한국 특허 출원의 문헌에 개시된 모든 내용은 본 명세서의 일부로서 포함된다.
본 발명은 공중합체 특성에 영향을 미치는 단량체 평가 방법 및 이를 이용한 시스템에 관한 것으로, 보다 자세하게는 본 발명은 기존 방법으로는 평가할 수 없었던 단량체가 공중합체의 특성에 미치는 영향의 크기를 평가할 수 있는 새로운 방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 공중합체 특성에 영향을 미치는 단량체 평가 방법 및 이를 이용한 시스템은 단량체의 종류 또는 결합 방식을 고려하여 단량체가 공중합체 특성에 미치는 영향을 정량적으로 평가함으로써 공중합체 특성 변화 정도를 단량체 수준에서 예측할 수 있는 획기적인 방법이다.
공중합체는 1개 이상의 단량체(monomer)를 여러 가지 중합 방법을 통해 결합시켜 합성시키는 물질로, 사용 목적에 맞게 다양한 레벨로 물성 또는 특성을 조절할 수 있어 소재 개발 및 기타 분야에서 매우 광범위하게 사용되고 있다. 합성된 공중합체의 특성에 큰 영향을 주는 요인 중 하나는 공중합체를 구성하는 단량체로, 공중합체 구성의 기본 반복 단위인 단량체의 수, 종류 또는 결합 형태에 따라 공중합체의 특성이 크게 변화하게 된다. 이와 같은 특성 변화는 공중합체를 구성하는 수많은 단랑체 사이의 복잡하고 미묘한 작용에 의해 결정되기 때문에 단량체가 공중합체의 특성에 미치는 영향을 명확하게 평가할 수 있는 방법은 없다. 한편, 기존의 실험 방법(예: Gel Permeation Chromatography)에서는 공중합체의 분자량 및 점도 등과 같은 공중합체의 물성을 측정할 수 있었지만 공중합체 내의 단량체가 공중합체 특성에 미치는 영향은 전혀 평가할 수 없는 단점이 있었다. 따라서 공중합체의 특성을 향상시켜 성능을 극대화하고, 나아가 새로운 특성을 나타내는 공중합체를 디자인하고 합성하기 위해서는 단량체가 공중합체에 주는 영향을 평가할 수 있는 새로운 방법의 개발이 필요한 실정이다.
본 발명은 상기와 같은 종래 기술의 문제점을 해결하기 위한 것으로서,
단랑체를 이용한 공중합체의 특성 인자를 도출하는 방법으로, 공중합체를 형성하는 단량체 결합 집합 구성하고, 상기 구성된 단량체 결합 집합의 공중합체의 특성에 대한 물성을 계산한 후, 상기 계산된 특성 변위 값을 바탕으로 단량체의 상대적 특성의 영향 범위를 평가하는 단량체를 이용한 공중합체 특성 평가의 새로운 방법을 제공하는 것을 그 목적으로 한다.
상기와 같은 목적을 달성하기 위하여 본 발명은,

공중합체를 구성하는 단량체가 공중합체 특성에 미치는 영향은 서로 유사하거나 크게 차이가 발생할 수 있는데, 이러한 공중합체 특성에 미치는 단량체의 영향 정도를 정량적으로 명확하게 평가할 수 있는 방법이 있다면, 공중합체를 이용한 소재 개발에 매우 중요하게 사용될 것으로 예상 가능하다. 본 발명에 따른 단량체를 이용한 공중합체 특성 평가 방법은 기존 방법으로는 평가할 수 없는 단량체가 공중합체 특성에 미치는 영향의 크기를 평가할 수 있는 새로운 방법에 관한 것으로, 본 발명에 따르면 단량체의 종류 및 결합 방식을 고려해 단량체가 공중합체 특성에 주는 영향을 정량적으로 평가함으로써, 공중합체 특성 변화 정도를 단량체 수준에서 예측할 수 있는 장점이 있다. 또한 본 발명은 공중합체 특성을 단량체의 특성만으로 예측하고 평가할 수 있어 공중합체 특성 향상 및 새로운 특성을 가지는 새로운 공중합체 개발을 위한 최적의 단량체 선정에 큰 역할을 수행할 것으로 기대할 수 있다.
이하, 본 발명을 상세하게 설명한다.
참고로, 본 발명의 하기 계산식에서 정의된 상수들은 본 발명으로 개발된 방법이 잘 동작하는 범위를 바탕으로 한정한 상수값이다.

구체적으로 상기 a)단계는 공중합체의 특성에 미치는 영향을 평가하려는 N1개의 단량체를 지정하고, 상기 N1개의 단량체 중 어느 하나의 단량체와 결합해서 공중합체로 중합 가능한 N2개의 단량체를 지정하여, 공중합체를 형성하는 단량체 결합 집합을 구성하는 단계로, 상기 Mk가 N2개이고, 상기 N2개의 단량체 Mk 각각에 대해 상기 N1개 단량체 Mi의 영향을 평가하는 것이다. 상기 N2는 2 이상의 자연수인 것이 바람직하다.
상기 첫 번째 단계인 a)단계에서 공중합체의 특성은 예를 들어, 접착 특성, 전기적 특성 및 점착 특성으로 이루어진 군에서 선택되는 1종 이상일 수 있고, 공중합체 특성에 미치는 영향을 평가하려는 N1개의 단량체를 지정하고, 이와 결합해서 공중합체로 중합될 수 있는 N2개의 상대 단량체를 지정할 수 있다. 본 발명의 일 구현예로, 공중합체 특성에 미치는 영향을 평가하기 위해서는 N1=2개의 단량체(B와 C)를 단량체 A(N2=1)와 결합시킨 형태의 공중합체를 고려할 수 있다.
공중합체를 형성하는 단량체 결합 방식의 일 예로,
(1) -[-B-A-]n-, 단량체 A와 단량체B의 결합을 반복단위로 하는 공중합체
(2) -[-C-A-]n-, 단량체 A와 단량체C의 결합을 반복단위로 하는 공중합체 일 수 있고, 이를 통해 단량체 A를 기준으로 단량체 B와 단량체 C가 결합된 단량체 형태로 중합되는 공중합체의 특성에 주는 영향력의 크기를 하기에 기술한 b)단계의 계산을 통해 평가를 진행할 수 있다.
상기 두번째 단계인 b)단계는 상기 a)단계에서 구성된 단량체 결합 집합에서 N1 * N2개로 이루어진 원소 중 선택된 단량체들의 결합을 반복 단위로 하는 공중합체의 특성에 대한 물성을 계산하는 단계로, 상기 단량체 Mk 및 Mi에 대해 상기에 나타낸 식 1 내지 식 3을 이용하여 단량체 변위 값인 α(Mk), β(Mk), α(Mi) 및 β(Mi)을 각각 계산할 수 있다.
상기 b)단계의 식 1 및 식 2에서 A1과 A2는 조절 상수로 0 보다 큰 실수이고, 상기 식 1 및 식 2에서 η(Mi) 및 η(Mk)는 Molecular Network GmbH Computerchemie사에서 개발한 ADRIANA.Code 프로그램을 이용하여 계산할 수 있다. 또한, 상기 b)단계의 식 1 및 식 2에서 EC(Mi), AS(Mi), EC(Mk) 및 AS(Mk) 역시 Molecular Network GmbH Computerchemie사에서 개발한 ADRIANA.Code 프로그램을 이용하여 계산할 수 있다.
상기 세 번째 단계인 c)단계는 b)단계에서 계산된 각각의 Mi의 Mk에 대한 특성 변위값인 λ(Mk; Mi)의 크기를 비교하여 단량체의 상대적 특성 영향 범위를 평가하는 단계로, 상기 식 4를 이용하여 단량체 Mk에 대한 단량체 Mi의 상대적 특성 변위값 λ(Mk; Mi)를 각각 계산하고, 상기 상대적 특성 변위값이 큰 단량체 Mi가 공중합체의 특성에 미치는 영향이 큰 단량체라고 판단하는 단계;를 포함할 수 있다.
상기 c)단계에서 계산된 각각의 λ(Mk; Mi)값은 0보다 큰 실수이고, λ(Mk; Mi)값이 0보다 큰 값일 경우 단량체 Mi가 단량체 Mk에 결합하여 공중합체로 형성되었을 때 공중합체의 특성에 미치는 단량체 Mi의 영향이 큰 것을 나타내고, 0에 가까운 작은 값일 경우 단량체 Mi가 단량체 Mk에 결합하여 공중합체로 형성되었을 때 공중합체의 특성에 미치는 단량체 Mi의 영향이 상대적으로 작은 것을 나타내는 것일 수 있다.
또한, 본 발명은 상기에서 살펴본 공중합체 특성에 영향을 미치는 단량체 평가 방법을 이용한 공중합체 특성에 영향을 미치는 단량체 평가 시스템을 제공한다.

상기 두번째 모듈인 계산 모듈은 상기 구성 모듈에서 구성된 단량체 결합 집합에서 N1 * N2개로 이루어진 원소 중 선택된 단량체들의 결합을 반복 단위로 하는 공중합체의 특성에 대한 물성을 계산하는 모듈로, 상기 단량체 Mk 및 Mi에 대해 상기에 나타낸 식 1 내지 식 3을 이용하여 단량체 변위 값인 α(Mk), β(Mk), α(Mi) 및 β(Mi)을 각각 계산할 수 있다.
상기 계산 모듈의 식 1 및 식 2에서 A1과 A2는 조절 상수로 0 보다 큰 실수이고, 상기 식 1 및 식 2에서 η(Mi) 및 η(Mk)는 Molecular Network GmbH Computerchemie사에서 개발한 ADRIANA.Code 프로그램을 이용하여 계산할 수 있다. 또한, 상기 계산 모듈의 식 1 및 식 2에서 EC(Mi), AS(Mi), EC(Mk) 및 AS(Mk) 역시 Molecular Network GmbH Computerchemie사에서 개발한 ADRIANA.Code 프로그램을 이용하여 계산할 수 있다.
상기 세 번째 모듈인 평가 모듈은 계산 모듈에서 계산된 각각의 Mi의 Mk에 대한 특성 변위값인 λ(Mk; Mi)의 크기를 비교하여 단량체의 상대적 특성 영향 범위를 평가하는 평가모듈로, 상기 식 4를 이용하여 단량체 Mk에 대한 단량체 Mi의 상대적 특성 변위값 λ(Mk; Mi)를 각각 계산하고, 상기 상대적 특성 변위값이 큰 단량체 Mi가 공중합체의 특성에 미치는 영향이 큰 단량체라고 판단하는 모듈일 수 있다.
상기 평가 모듈에서 계산된 각각의 λ(Mk; Mi)값은 0보다 큰 실수이고, λ(Mk; Mi)값이 0보다 큰 값일 경우 단량체 Mi가 단량체 Mk에 결합하여 공중합체로 형성되었을 때 공중합체의 특성에 미치는 단량체 Mi의 영향이 큰 것을 나타내고, 0에 가까운 작은 값일 경우 단량체 Mi가 단량체 Mk에 결합하여 공중합체로 형성되었을 때 공중합체의 특성에 미치는 단량체 Mi의 영향이 상대적으로 작은 것을 나타내는 것일 수 있다.
또한, 본 명세서에서 기재한 모듈(module)이란 용어는 특정한 기능이나 동작을 처리하는 하나의 단위를 의미하며, 이는 하드웨어나 소프트웨어 또는 하드웨어 및 소프트웨어의 결합으로 구현할 수 있다.

실시예
단계 1. 공중합체를 형성하는 단량체 결합 집합 구성
공중합체의 특성에 미치는 영향을 평가할 단량체 각각 Mi1
, Mi2는 4,4'-디아미노이페닐메탄(CAS Number: 101-77-9)과 3,3'-디아미노벤조페논(CAS Number: 611-79-0)이고, 상기 2개(N1)의 단량체와 공통으로 공중합체를 형성할 단량체 Mk는 1,2,4,5-사이클로헥산테트라카르복실디안하드라이드(CAS Number: 2754-41-8)이었다(N2=1). 상기 단량체의 결합으로 중합되는 공중합체는 폴리이미드(polyimide)를 나타내었다.

단계 2. 단량체에 대한 특성 물성 계산
하기 [식 1], [식 2] 및 [식 4]를 이용하여 단량체의 상대적 특성 변위인 λ(Mk; Mi)를 2가지 함수 Funct(X) 형태를 사용해서 계산하였고, 사용된 상수의 값을 하기의 [표 1] 및 [표 2]에 나타내었다. 표 1의 Funct(x)는 이고 a1=1.0, a2=2.5 이다. 표 2의 Funct(x)는 이고, a3=1.0, a4=0.5, a5=2.0이다.

단계 3. 단량체의 상대적 특성 영향 범위 평가
상기 단계 2에서 구한 최종 계산된 단량체의 상대적 특성 영향 범위는 하기 표 3에 나타내었다.
상기 표 3의 결과로부터 폴리이미드를 형성하기 위해 1,2,4,5-사이클로헥산테트라카르복실디안하드라이드(Mk)와 단량체 조합을 형성할 경우에, 공중합체 특성에 더 큰 영향을 줄 수 있는 단량체(Mi)는 상대적으로 큰 λ(Mk;Mi)값을 갖는 4,4'-디아미노이페닐메탄(CASE01: 0.4885/CASE02: 0.5832)임을 확인할 수 있었다.
상기의 방법을 통해 단량체를 이용한 공중합체의 특성을 평가하여 λ(Mk;Mi)값의 크기의 비교함으로써, 공중합체 특성에 더 큰 영향을 줄 수 있는 단량체를 확인할 수 있었다. 따라서, 상기의 방법은 기존 방법으로는 평가할 수 없는 단량체가 공중합체 특성에 미치는 영향의 크기를 평가할 수 있으며, 단량체의 종류 및 결합 방식을 고려해 단량체가 공중합체 특성에 주는 영향을 정량적으로 평가함으로써, 공중합체 특성 변화 정도를 단량체 수준에서도 정확하게 예측할 수 있었다.

- 청구항 1에 있어서, 상기 c)단계의 식 4에서 A3는 0.3 내지 0.8의 실수인 것을 특징으로 하는, 공중합체 특성에 영향을 미치는 단량체 평가 방법.
- 청구항 1에 있어서, 상기 c)단계에서 계산된 각각의 λ(Mk; Mi)값은 0보다 큰 실수인 것을 특징으로 하는, 공중합체 특성에 영향을 미치는 단량체 평가 방법
- 청구항 8에 있어서, 상기 c)단계에서 계산된 각각의 λ(Mk; Mi)값이 0보다 큰 값일 경우 단량체 Mi가 단량체 Mk에 결합하여 공중합체로 형성되었을 때 공중합체의 특성에 미치는 단량체 Mi의 영향이 큰 것을 나타내고, 0에 가까운 작은 값일 경우 단량체 Mi가 단량체 Mk에 결합하여 공중합체로 형성되었을 때 공중합체의 특성에 미치는 단량체 Mi의 영향이 작은 것을 나타내는 것임을 특징으로 하는, 공중합체 특성에 영향을 미치는 단량체 평가 방법.
- 2개 이상의 단량체로 이루어진 공중합체에서 공중합체 특성에 영향을 미치는 단량체 평가 시스템으로,공중합체를 형성하는 단량체 Mk를 정하고, 상기 Mk와 함께 공중합체를 형성할 수 있는 N1개의 단량체 Mi를 정하고, 상기 N1은 2 이상의 자연수이며, 상기 N1개의 Mi이 각각을 Mi1, Mi2, …… , MiN1로 정하는 구성 모듈;상기 단량체 Mk 및 Mi에 대해 하기에 나타낸 식 1 내지 식 3을 이용하여 단량체 변위 값인 α(Mk), β(Mk), α(Mi) 및 β(Mi)을 각각 계산하는 계산 모듈[식 1][식 2][식 3]상기 식 1 내지 식 3에서 A1과 A2는 조절 상수로 0이 아닌 실수이고, Funct(x)는 변수 x에 대한 함수를 나타내고, a1, a2, a3, a4, a5는 Funct(x)의 형태에 따라 달라지는 조절 상수로 실수이고, η(Mi)는 단량체 Mi에 대해 계산된 위상학적 극성 표면적(Topological polar surface area), 맥고완 부피(McGowan volume), 근사 표면적(Approximate Surface Area) 또는 옥탄올/물 분배계수(Octanol/Water Partition Coefficient)이고, EC(Mi)는 단량체 Mi에 대한 분자 이심률(Molecular Eccentricity)을 나타내고, AS(Mi)는 단량체 Mi에 대한 분자 비구면계수(Molecular Asphericity)를 나타냄; 및하기 식 4를 이용하여 단량체 Mk에 대한 단량체 Mi의 상대적 특성 변위값 λ(Mk; Mi)를 각각 계산하고, 상기 상대적 특성 변위값이 큰 단량체 Mi가 공중합체의 특성에 미치는 영향이 큰 단량체라고 판단하는 평가 모듈을 포함하는 공중합체 특성에 영향을 미치는 단량체 평가 시스템:[식 4]상기 식 4에서 A3는 조절 상수로 0과 1 사이의 실수임.
- 청구항 10에 있어서, 상기 Mk가 N2개이고, 상기 N2는 2 이상의 정수이며, 상기 N2개의 단량체 Mk 각각에 대해 상기 N1개 단량체 Mi의 영향을 평가하는 것을 특징으로 하는, 공중합체 특성에 영향을 미치는 단량체 평가 시스템.
- 청구항 10에 있어서, 상기 공중합체의 특성은 접착 특성, 전기적 특성 및 점착 특성으로 이루어진 군에서 선택되는 1종 이상인 것을 특징으로 하는, 공중합체 특성에 영향을 미치는 단량체 평가 시스템.
- 청구항 10에 있어서, 상기 계산 모듈의 식 1 및 식 2에서 A1과 A2는 조절 상수로 0 보다 큰 실수인 것을 특징으로 하는, 공중합체 특성에 영향을 미치는 단량체 평가 시스템.
