- (B) UL transmission timing before and after switching For example, the base station 100 does not change the UL transmission timing (in other words, UL frame timing) before and after switching the operation mode for the UL band. Thereby, for example, it is possible to further reduce the influence on a terminal device that does not support the second mode (hereinafter referred to as “legacy terminal”).
- legacy terminal a terminal device that does not support the second mode

はじめに、図1~図4を参照して、UL送信タイミングの調整、及びACK(Acknowledgement)/NACK(Negative Acknowledgement)の送信タイミングを説明する。
(Timing Advance:TA)
基地局(例えば、eNB(evolved Node B))と端末装置(例えば、UE(User Equipment))との間の距離及び伝搬遅延は、端末装置によって異なる。
NTA,New(NTA,New=NTA,old+(TA-31)*16)を算出する。
端末装置は、DL受信タイミングと、TAを示す情報とに基づいて、プライマリセルのPUCCH(Physical Uplink Control Channel)/PUSCH(Physical Uplink Shared Channel)/SRS(Sounding Reference Signal)についてのUL送信タイミングを調整する。
(a)FDD
端末装置200は、NTA1とNTA_offsetとから、NTA2(例えば、NTA1+NTA_offset)を算出してもよい。
例えば、基地局100は、SIB(System Information Block)2の中で、PRACH(Physical Random Access Channel)コンフィギュレーションインデックス及びPRACH周波数オフセットを報知する。
より具体的には、例えば、上記同期信号は、PSS(Primary Synchronization Signal)及びSSS(Secondary Synchronization Signal)である。
より具体的には、例えば、基地局100(制御部153)は、上記DL帯域のPDCCH(Physical Downlink Control Channel)において、上記DL帯域のPDSCH(Physical Downlink Shared Channel)及び上記UL帯域のPUSCH(Physical Uplink Shared Channel)についてのスケジューリング情報をレガシー端末に通知する。

(a)第1の例

(a)測定(measurements)
