Abstract

The present invention concerns a device for packaging a cosmetic article (29, 42), comprising: - a base (12) defining a storage compartment for a cosmetic article (29); - a plate (16) that is movable in rotation on the base; - a cover (14) that is movable in rotation on the base. The axis of the plate forms an angle smaller than or equal to 90° with the axis of the cover. A housing provided in the plate (16) comprises a bottom (38) and an elastically deformable side wall (56). In a contact configuration, one edge (54) of the plate is in contact with the inner face (60) of the cover. Moving said cover towards the closed position moves the plate slidingly towards a closed configuration. The bottom (38) of the housing is in contact with the base in the contact configuration. Moving the plate to the closed configuration brings said bottom closer to the axis of the plate.

Description

Packaging box for a cosmetic article

The present invention relates to a device for packaging a cosmetic article, of the type comprising: a base defining internally a storage compartment for receiving a first cosmetic article; a plate rotatably mounted on the base according to a first axis, said plate being movable between a closed configuration, in which the plate closes the storage compartment, and an open configuration, the plate comprising a first edge disposed along the first axis; and a second edge remote from the first edge; and a cover rotatably mounted on the base according to a second axis, said cover being movable between a closed position, in which the cover covers the tray in a closed configuration, and an open position, the lid having an internal face facing the base in the closed position, such that, in a plane parallel to the second axis and containing the first axis, the first axis forms an angle less than or equal to 90 ° with a projection of the second axis.

For the purposes of the present invention, the term "cosmetic article" is intended to mean a cosmetic product intended to be applied to a human being, such as, for example, a solid such as a powder, a liquid or a cream. A "cosmetic product" is more generally a product as defined in Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 30 November 2009 on cosmetic products.

The term "cosmetic article" also refers to a tool used to apply a cosmetic product to a body surface, the tool being for example a brush, a brush or a sponge. A "cosmetic article" can also be a cosmetic treatment tool such as a nail file.

A packaging device is adapted to contain and move a cosmetic article for storage, marketing, and use. The packaging device is for example a case or a case adapted to be received in a handbag. Such a packaging device is described in particular in the documents WO 2013/004771 and WO 2013/178731, in the name of the Applicant, or in the documents US1875245, JPS60106508 and JPH01 108207.

When the cosmetic article contained in the storage compartment is of fluid or powdery type, it is advantageous to ensure a tight closure of said compartment by means of the tray. Thus, the product is not likely to dirty the inner face of the lid, which usually has a mirror. It is also preferable that the opening and closing of the device are easy, despite the presence of such a seal.

For this purpose, the invention relates to a packaging device of the aforementioned type, wherein: a housing is formed in the tray and intended to receive a second cosmetic article, said housing comprising a bottom and a side wall, said side wall; being able to deform elastically so as to increase in diameter under the effect of a rapprochement of the bottom and the second axis; the device is adapted to adopt a contact configuration in which the second edge of the plate is in contact with the inner face of the lid, a displacement of said lid towards the closed position then tending to move the plate towards the closed configuration by sliding of said second edge against said inner face; and the bottom of the housing is in contact with the base in contact configuration, the displacement of the plate towards the closed configuration then tending to bring said bottom of the second axis.

According to other advantageous aspects of the invention, the packaging device comprises one or more of the following characteristics, taken separately or in any technically possible combination:

- The elastically deformable side wall of the housing forms a seal such that, in the closed configuration of the plate, said seal is compressed by a side surface of the base, so as to seal the storage compartment;

the side wall forming a seal has a circular contour;

the first axis and the second axis are substantially parallel;

- The base has an upper face located vis-à-vis the inner face of the lid in the closed position, said upper face comprising two substantially parallel opposite edges, each of the first and second axes extending along the one said edges;

the first axis and the second axis are substantially perpendicular;

the cover comprises a mirror, the internal face being a reflecting face of the mirror;

the first cosmetic article is a cosmetic product and the second cosmetic article is an applicator of the said cosmetic product.

The invention further relates to a method of using a device as described above, comprising the following steps: the tray, in open configuration, is folded towards the base; then the lid, in the open position, is folded towards the base, so as to place the device in contact configuration; then the lid is moved to the closed position, the displacement of the lid generating a sliding the second edge of the plate against the inner face of the lid, so as to move the tray in closed configuration.

The invention furthermore relates to a method of using a device comprising a seal as described above, said device further comprising a lid locking means in the closed position, said method comprising the steps following: the lid in the closed position is unlocked; then the seal, compressed by a side surface of the base in closed configuration, deforms away from said side surface, so as to rotate the tray to the open configuration.

The invention will be better understood on reading the description which follows, given solely by way of nonlimiting example and with reference to the drawings in which:

Figures 1 to 3 show a packaging device 10 according to a first embodiment of the invention. Figure 4 shows a device 1 10 conditioning, according to a second embodiment of the invention. In the description which follows, unless otherwise stated, the elements described are similar for the devices 10 and 1 10 and are designated by the same reference numbers. We consider an orthonormal basis (X, Y, Z), the Z direction representing the vertical.

The devices 10, 1 10, makeup housings type, comprise a base 12 and a cover 14 rotatable relative to the base. The devices 10, 1 10 further comprise a plate 16, also rotatable relative to the base 12.

The base 12 has a bottom wall 18 substantially flat and disposed in a plane (X, Y). The base 12 further comprises side walls 19, substantially arranged in planes (Y, Z). The base 12 further comprises a front wall 20 and a rear wall 21, substantially arranged in planes (X, Z).

In the examples of Figures 1 to 4, the walls 19, 20, 21 form a substantially square or rectangular contour. Other contour shapes, regular or irregular, are also possible, including circular, polygonal or oblong shapes.

The front wall 20 is partially formed by a pusher 22 movable in the direction Y. Optionally, the pusher 22 is an element attached to the front wall 20. The pusher 22 is integral with a hook 23. As will be described later , the pusher 22 and the hook 23 are part of a locking mechanism of the cover 14 in the closed position.

The base 12 further comprises an upper wall 24 substantially flat and disposed in a plane (X, Y). The upper wall 24, connected to the walls 19, 20, 21, has a substantially square or rectangular contour.

A central cavity 25 of the base 12 opens on the upper wall 24. The central cavity 25 is disposed along an axis 26 parallel to Z.

From the bottom wall 18, the cavity 25 has a first side wall

27, of cylindrical shape of revolution. The first side wall 27 defines a compartment 28, intended to receive a first cosmetic article 29. The first cosmetic article 29 is for example a cosmetic product intended to be applied to a body surface, such as a powder or a cream.

Opposite the lower wall 18, the first side wall 27 is extended by a shoulder 30 disposed in a plane (X, Y), then by a second side wall 31. The second wall 31 has a cylindrical shape of revolution, with a diameter greater than the diameter of the first wall 27.

The second side wall 31 is connected to a frustoconical surface 32 which flares upwards until it reaches the upper wall 24 of the base. On the side of the rear wall 21, the upper wall 24 has a recessed surface 33. The surface 33 is preferably located at an angle of the upper wall 24.

In the embodiment of Figures 1 to 3, the base 12 is formed of two parts nested with each other. A bottom piece 34 comprises the side walls 19, front 20 and rear 21, as well as part of the bottom wall 18. A top plate 35 comprises the top wall 24 and the walls of the cavity 25. In a variant, shown in Figure 4, the side walls 19, 20 and rear 21 are integral with the top plate 35. Other embodiments are possible.

The plate 16 has a flat portion 36 of similar shape and size as the upper wall 24 of the base 12. In particular, the flat portion 36 has a substantially square or rectangular contour. In a closed configuration of the device 10, as shown in FIG. 2, the plane portion 36 is disposed in a plane (X,

Y) -

A central housing 37 of the plate 16 opens on the flat part 36. The central housing 37 has a flat bottom 38, substantially parallel to the flat portion 36. The bottom 38 is connected to the flat portion 36 by a side wall 40. The wall Lateral 40 of the plate 16 has a circular section, of diameter close to the diameter of the second side wall 31 of the base 12. A shape of the side wall 40 of the plate 16 will be detailed below.

The central housing 37, defined by the flat bottom 38 and the side wall 40, is intended to receive a second cosmetic article 42. The second cosmetic article 42 is for example an applicator intended to apply the cosmetic product 29. In the example of the Figures 1 to 3, the second cosmetic article is a sponge 42 of substantially circular contour.

The plate 16 is mounted on the base 12, in particular on the upper wall 24, by means of two hinges 44. The hinges 44 embody a first axis 46 of rotation of the plate 16 relative to the base 12. The first axis 46 is disposed near the front wall 20 of the base 12, substantially parallel to said wall.

A first portion 48 of each hinge 44 is integral with the upper wall 24 of the base 12, close to the front wall 20. A second portion 50 of each hinge 44 is secured to the flat portion 36 of the plate 16. Each second portion 50 forms a projection along Y relative to a first edge 52 of the flat portion 36.

A second edge 54 of the flat portion 36 is opposite the first edge 52. According to one embodiment, the second edge 54 is substantially rectilinear. According to one variant, shown in Figures 1 to 4, the second edge 54 has a curved shape, the convexity being oriented outwardly of the plate 16.

The plate 16 is movable between an open configuration, represented in FIG. 1, and the closed configuration represented in FIG. 2. In the closed configuration, the central housing 37 of the plate 16 is received in the cavity 25 of the base 12, so as to close the compartment 28.

More specifically, in the closed configuration, a peripheral portion of the flat bottom 38 of the housing 37 of the plate 16 is in contact with the shoulder 30 of the cavity 25 of the base 12.

In addition, the device 10, 1 10 comprises means 56, 156 for forming a sealed contact between the plate 16 and the second side wall 31 of the cavity 25, in the closed configuration. In the embodiment of FIGS. 1 to 4, as described below, the means 56, 156 are integral with the plate 16.

In the embodiment of Figures 1 to 3, the means 56 of the device 10 comprises an outer surface 56 of the side wall 40 of the plate 16, said side wall 40 having the shape of a torus portion. More specifically, as shown in Figures 2 and 3, the side wall 40 has a curvature in a plane passing through the axis 26. A convexity of the curvature is directed away from the axis 26. In open configuration, a maximum diameter of the outer surface 56 is slightly smaller than an inner diameter of the second side wall 31 of the cavity 25. In addition, in open configuration, a distance between the flat portion 36 and the flat bottom 38 of the housing 37 is slightly greater than a distance along Z between the upper wall 24 of the base 12 and the shoulder 30.

The lateral wall 40 is able to deform elastically in a plane passing through the axis 26. More precisely, the lateral wall 40 is able to increase in diameter under the effect of a coming together of the flat part 36 and the flat bottom 38, so as to come into contact with the second side wall 31. The outer surface 56 thus has a seal function, forming a sealing contact with the second side wall 31 of the cavity 25.

The side wall 40 of the plate 16 is preferably formed of an elastically deformable material, such as for example a thermoplastic elastomer such as SEBS, or a nitrile rubber (NBR), or a silicone. In the embodiment of FIGS. 1 to 3, the wall 40 is for example overmolded on the bottom 38 and then assembled with the flat part 36.

In the embodiment of FIG. 4, the wall 40 of the plate 16 is overmolded both on the bottom 38 and on the flat part 36. As described above, the surface outer wall 156 of the wall 40 has a seal function, forming a sealing contact with the second side wall 31 of the cavity 25.

In the embodiment of Figures 1 to 4, the side wall 40 has a circular contour in a plane parallel to the flat portion 36. However, other contour shapes may be envisaged, for example an oval contour.

Similarly, in a plane perpendicular to the flat portion 36, the side wall 40 may have a section of different shape of a torus portion. Said shape preferably has an outwardly bulged portion of the housing 37.

In the open configuration of FIG. 1, a lower face 58 of the bottom 38 is oriented upwards. In the embodiments shown in Figures 1 to 4, the lower face 58 is smooth and plain. In a first variant, the lower face 58 has pins or asperities. According to a second variant, the lower face 58 has a decoration or an inscription. According to a third variant, the lower face 58 comprises a housing for a third cosmetic article. The third cosmetic article is for example a second cosmetic product, of the same nature as the product 29 but of a different color.

The cover 14 has an inner face 60, substantially flat. In a closed position of the cover 14, visible in Figure 2, the inner face is disposed in a plane (X, Y).

The inner face 60 has a shape and dimensions similar to those of the upper face 24 of the base 12 and the flat portion 36 of the plate 16. The cover 14 has in particular a substantially square or rectangular contour.

In the embodiments shown in FIGS. 1 to 4, the cover 14 comprises a mirror 62, the internal face 60 being the reflecting face of said mirror.

The cover 14 is mounted on the base 12 by means of two hinges 64. The hinges 64 embody a second axis 66 of rotation of the cover 14 relative to the base 12. The second axis 66 is disposed near the rear wall 21 of the base 12, substantially parallel to said wall.

In the embodiments shown in Figures 1 to 4, the second axis 66 is substantially parallel to the first axis 46 of rotation of the plate 16, the two axes 46, 66 being substantially included in the same plane (X, Y). According to alternative embodiments, in a plane parallel to the second axis 66 and containing the first axis 46, the first axis 46 forms an angle less than 90 °, preferably less than 30 °, more preferably between 0 ° and 10 °, with a projection of the second axis 66. Preferably, the first 46 and the second 66 axes are substantially coplanar and form an angle less than 90 °, preferably less than 30 °, more preferably less than 10 °.

A first portion 68 of each hinge 64 is integral with the upper wall 24 of the base 12, close to the rear wall 21. A second portion 70 of each hinge 64 is integral with a first edge 72 of the cover 14.

The lid 14 is movable between an open position, shown in FIG. 1, and the closed position shown in FIG. 2. In the closed position, the lid 14 covers the plate 16 in a closed configuration, the inner face 60 being in contact with the against or in contact with the flat portion 36 of the plate 16.

A second edge 74 of the cover 14, opposite the first edge 72, has a groove 76 adapted to cooperate with the hook 23 to lock the cover 14 in the closed position of FIG.

According to an alternative embodiment, the hook 23 and the groove 76 are replaced by a magnetic lock, for example by two magnets respectively carried by the pusher 22 and the cover 14.

Optionally, the lid 14 has perforations or vents (not shown) to bring the housing 37 in communication with the outside of the device 10, 1 10 when said lid is in the closed position. The wet sponge 42 can thus dry inside the device 10, 1 10, avoiding the risk of mold.

Figures 5-6 and 7-9 show respectively conditioning devices 210, 21 1, according to third and fourth embodiments of the invention. In the following description, unless otherwise indicated, the elements of the conditioning devices 210 and 21 1 similar to those of the devices 10 and 1 10 are designated by the same reference numerals.

We consider an orthonormal basis (X, Y, Z), the Z direction representing the vertical.

Similar to the devices 10, 1 10, the device 210, 21 1 comprises: a base 212; a plate 216 rotatably mounted on the base according to a first axis 46; and a cover 214 rotatably mounted on the base according to a second axis 66, 266.

Similar to the devices 10, 1 10, the device 210, 21 1 also comprises a mechanism 222 for locking the lid and the base in a closed position.

Like the base 12 of Figures 1 to 4, the base 212 has a substantially flat bottom wall 18 and disposed in a plane (X, Y). However, the base 212 further comprises a side wall 219 of substantially cylindrical shape of revolution. The contour of the base 212 is substantially circular.

The base 212 further comprises an upper wall 224 substantially flat and disposed in a plane (X, Y), of substantially circular contour.

A central cavity 25 opens on the upper wall 224. The central cavity 25 of the device 210, 21 1 corresponds to the above description of the central cavity 25 of the device 10, 1 10. In particular, the central cavity 25 has two walls. cylindrical sides 27, 31, connected by a shoulder 30 disposed in a plane (X, Y). The first side wall 27 defines a compartment 28, intended to receive a first cosmetic article such as the cosmetic product 29 shown in FIG.

The first axis 46 of rotation of the plate 216 relative to the base 212 is substantially parallel to X and disposed in the same plane (X, Y) as the upper wall 224, or in a close plane along Z of the latter. As in the case of the devices 10, 1 10, the plate 216 is movable between an open configuration and a closed configuration. The closed configuration of the device 21 1 is shown in particular in Figure 9, in section along a plane (X, Y).

The plate 216 has a flat portion 236 of substantially circular contour, a first edge is in contact with the axis of rotation 46. A central housing 37 opens on the flat portion 236. The housing 37 is intended to receive a second article cosmetic such as the sponge 42 shown in Figure 1.

The central housing 37 of the device 210, 21 1 corresponds to the above description of the central housing 37 of the device 10, 1 10. In particular, the central housing 37 comprises a flat bottom 38, substantially parallel to the flat portion 36. bottom 38 is connected to the flat portion 236 by a side wall 40, elastically deformable.

In the closed configuration, the central housing 37 is received in the cavity 25 of the base 12, so as to close the compartment 28. A peripheral portion of the flat bottom 38 is then in contact with the shoulder 30 of the central cavity 25 of the base 212.

As in the case of the devices 10, 1 10, the side wall 40 is able to increase in diameter under the effect of a rapprochement of the plane portion 236 and the bottom plane 38. In closed configuration, an outer surface 56 of the Lateral wall 40 can thus come into contact with the second side wall 31 of the central cavity 25, to form a seal closing the compartment 28.

The planar portion 236 has a second edge 254, 255 located away from the axis of rotation 46. According to a first embodiment, the second edge 254, 255 has a circular arc shape, similar in radius to the rest of the flat part 236. According to a second variant embodiment, corresponding to FIGS. 5 to 9, the second edge 254, 255 has a substantially rectilinear shape, parallel to the axis of rotation 46. In the latter case, as described below, the second edge 254, 255 preferably comprises a chamfer.

The lid 214 has an inner face 260, substantially flat. The inner face 260 has a shape and dimensions similar to those of the upper face 224 of the base 212 and the flat portion 236 of the plate 216. The cover 214 has in particular a substantially circular contour.

In the embodiments shown in FIGS. 5 to 9, the internal face 260 is formed by the reflecting face of a mirror 62.

The second axis 66, 266 of rotation of the cover 214 relative to the base 212 is disposed in the same plane (X, Y) as the upper wall 224, or in a close plane along Z of the latter. As in the case of the devices 10, 1 10, the cover 214 is movable between an open position and a closed position, in particular represented in FIG. 9. In the closed position, the mirror 62 is in contact with the flat part 236 of the plate 216 .

In the embodiment of FIGS. 5 and 6, the first 46 and second 66 axes are substantially parallel and disposed on either side of the central cavity 25, similarly to the devices 10, 1, 10. The second edge 254 of FIG. the flat portion 236 of the plate 216 is located opposite the axis of rotation 46 relative to the housing 37, so as to be close to the second axis 66 in the closed configuration of the plate 216.

In the embodiment of FIGS. 7 to 9, in projection in a plane (X, Y), the second axis 266 forms an angle α with the first axis 46. The angle a is less than or equal to, preferably less than, 90 °. In the embodiment of FIGS. 7 to 9, the first 46 and second 266 axes are substantially perpendicular, the angle a being for example between 85 ° and 90 °. As seen in FIG. 9, the second edge 255 of the plane portion 236 of the plate 216 is arranged so as to be close to the second axis 266 in the closed configuration of the plate 216.

An operating method of the device 10, 1, 10, 210, 21 1 will now be described. In the open position of the lid 14, 214 and in the open configuration of the plate 16, 216, as in FIG. 1, a user can take cosmetic product 29 with the aid of the sponge 42 and apply it to surfaces body. The application is optionally controlled using the mirror 62. The bottom face 58 of the bottom 38 is optionally used to work the product 29 with the sponge 42, or to wipe a surplus of product 29, before application . In the case where the lower face 58 comprises a housing for a second cosmetic product, the two products can be used simultaneously. When the application operations are completed, the user folds the plate 16, 216 in the direction of the base 12, 212, so as to bring the bottom 38 of the plate 16, 216 into the cavity 25 of the base 12 212. The bottom 38 comes into contact with the shoulder 30 of the cavity 25. The plate 16 is then in the configuration visible in Figure 3; the plate 216 is then in the configuration visible in FIGS. 5-6 and 7-8.

In order to facilitate the passage in closed configuration of the plate 16, 216, the user then folds the lid 14, 214 until the inner face 60, 260 is in contact with the second edge 54, 254, 255 of the plate 16, 216.

The plate 16 and the cover 14 of the device 10, 1 10 are then in a contact configuration shown in FIG. 3. The plate 216 and the cover 214 of the device 210 are then in a similar contact configuration, represented in FIGS. 6.

In particular, the inner face 60, 260 of the cover 14, 214 forms an angle β with the flat portion 36, 236 of the plate 16, 216. Preferably, the angle β is between 5 ° and 60 °.

The plate 216 and the cover 214 of the device 21 1 are in another contact configuration shown in FIGS. 7 and 8.

FIG. 8 is a sectional view of the device 21 1 in a vertical plane perpendicular to the second axis 266 and substantially forming a plane of symmetry of the compartment 28. In said vertical plane, the internal face 260 of the lid 214 forms an angle γ with the flat portion 236 of the plate 216. Preferably, the angle γ is between 5 ° and 60 °.

In the case where the second edge 254, 255 is substantially rectilinear and chamfered, the shape of said chamfer is configured to allow a maximum contact area between said second edge 254, 255 and the inner face 260 of the lid in the contact configuration as shown in Figures 6 and 8.

From the contact configuration, the user exerts on the cover 14, 214 a force tending to pass the cover in the closed position. For example, the user presses on the top of the cover 14, 214, in particular near the edge 74. The displacement of the cover 14, 214 slides the second edge 54, 254, 255 of the plate 16, 216 along the surface internal 60, 260, towards the second axis 66, 266.

The inner surface 60, 260 formed by a mirror 62 has a smooth texture which facilitates the sliding of the second edge 54, 254, 255.

In the case of the devices 210, 21 1, the second straight edge 254, 255, preferably chamfered, has a contact surface with the internal surface 260 more important than a circular edge. Thus, the effort required to close the lid is less important.

The flat portion 36, 236 of the plate 16, 216 is thus folded towards the upper surface 24, 224 of the base 12, 212. The bottom 38 of the housing 37 abuts against the shoulder 30, the distance between the bottom 38 and the flat portion 36 decreases. This reduction causes an increase in the diameter of the lateral external surfaces 56, 156 of the wall 40, to form a sealed contact with the second lateral wall 31 of the cavity 25.

The lid 14, 214 is then in the closed position, as represented for example in FIG. 2. The groove 76 fits on the hook 23, locking the lid 14.

In a single gesture, the user can thus form a sealed contact between the plate 16, 216 and the base 12, 212 and put the lid 14, 214 in the closed position. The movement of the plate 16, 216 through the cover 14, 214 provides a lever arm that minimizes the force required to pass the plate 16, 216 in closed configuration.

In the closed position, the flat internal face 60, 260 exerts a homogeneous pressure on the seal formed by the wall 40 and the second lateral wall 31. In particular, such pressure homogeneity is favored by an internal face 60, 260 formed by a mirror 62.

Furthermore, the compression between the second side wall 31 and the outer surface 56, 156 of the wall 40 makes it unnecessary to add a locking system of the plate 16, 216 in closed configuration.

Conversely, to open the device 10, 1 10 from the closed position of the lid 14, a user presses on the pusher 22 to disengage the hook 23 from the groove 76. A similar device 222 opens the lid 214 of the device 210, 21 1.

Preferably, once the lid 14, 214 is unlocked, the compressive force exerted by the wall 31 on the outer surface 56, 156 of the wall 40 tends to eject the central housing 37 of the plate 16, 216 out of the cavity 25 of the base 12, 212. The flat portion 36, 236 and the bottom 38 of the plate 16, 216 and deviate from each other. The plate 16 of the device 10 is found in the contact configuration shown in Figure 3. The plate 216 of the devices 210, 21 1 is found in the contact configuration shown respectively in Figures 5-6 and 7-8.

The ejection of the plate 16, 216 also tends to rotate the lid 14, 214 to the open position, to the contact configuration of FIG. 3 and FIGS. 6 and 7-8. The user can then complete to rotate the cover 14, 214 and the plate 16, 216 to the open configuration of FIG. 1, and take in hand the sponge 42 stored in the housing 37.

Alternatively for the device 10, 1 10, if the housing 37 is not ejected automatically from the cavity 25, the user rotates the lid 14 unlocked around the second axis 66, to the open position, then the user passes a finger between the plate 16 and the recessed surface 33 of the base 12, so as to have sufficient support to lift the plate 16 and rotate.

The device 10, 1 10 is then in the configuration of Figure 1, suitable for use of the cosmetic articles 29, 42.

The deployment of the cover 14, 214 and the plate 16, 216, respectively on either side of the base 12, 212, does not require a change of grip of the device 10, 1 10, 210, 21 1 during its use.

Preferably, with the exception of the mirror 61 and the side wall 40, the various elements forming the devices 10, 1 10, 210, 21 1 are injection molded of a thermoplastic material of the polymer type, such as the acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS), styrene-acrylonitrile (SAN) or polypropylene,

The plate 16 of the device 1 10 is preferably molded by bi-injection, first of the flat part 36 and the bottom 38, then of the wall 40. For the production of the plate 16 of the device 10, the flat part 36, the bottom 38 and the side wall 40 may also be molded separately, and then assembled.

The bottom piece 34 and the top plate 35, forming the base 12, are preferably molded separately before being assembled.

The embodiments shown in FIGS. 1 to 9 require only 4 to 6 different injection molds to produce a device 10, 1 10. By comparison, the existing similar products require at least 7 injection molds.

Claims

1. - Device (10, 1 10, 210, 21 1) for packaging at least one cosmetic article (29, 42), comprising:

a base (12, 212) defining internally a storage compartment

(28) for receiving a first cosmetic article (29);

- A plate (16, 216) rotatably mounted on the base according to a first axis (46), said plate being movable between a closed configuration, in which the plate closes the storage compartment, and an open configuration; the tray having a first edge (52) disposed along the first axis and a second edge (54, 254, 255) spaced from the first edge;

- A cover (14, 214) rotatably mounted on the base according to a second axis (66, 266), said cover being movable between a closed position, in which the cover covers the tray in closed configuration, and an open position the cover having an inner face (60, 260) facing the base in the closed position;

such that, in a plane parallel to the second axis (66, 266) and containing the first axis (46), the first axis forms an angle (a) less than or equal to 90 ° with a projection of the second axis,

characterized in that

- A housing (37) is formed in the plate (16, 216) and intended to receive a second cosmetic article (42), said housing comprising a bottom (38) and a side wall (40), said side wall being adapted to to deform elastically so as to increase in diameter under the effect of a rapprochement of the bottom and the second axis;

- The device is adapted to adopt a contact configuration in which the second edge (54, 254, 255) of the plate is in contact with the inner face (60, 260) of the cover, a displacement of said lid towards the closed position then tending moving the tray to the closed configuration by sliding said second edge against said inner face; and

- The bottom (38) of the housing is in contact with the base (30) in the contact configuration, moving the tray to the closed configuration then tending to bring said bottom of the second axis.

2. - Device according to claim 1, wherein the elastically deformable side wall (40) of the housing (37) forms a seal (56, 156) such that, in closed configuration of the tray, said seal is compressed by a lateral surface (31) of the base, so as to seal the storage compartment (28).

3. - Device according to claim 2, wherein the side wall (40) forming a seal (56, 156) has a circular contour.

4. - Device (10, 1 10, 210) according to one of the preceding claims, wherein the first axis (46) and the second axis (66) are substantially parallel.

5.- Device (10, 1 10) according to claim 4, wherein the base has an upper face (24) located vis-à-vis the inner face (60) of the lid in the closed position, said upper face. comprising two substantially parallel opposite edges (20, 21), each of the first and second axes extending along one of said edges.

6.- Device (21 1) according to one of claims 1 to 3, wherein the first axis

(46) and the second axis (266) are substantially perpendicular.

7.- Device according to one of the preceding claims, wherein the cover (14, 214) comprises a mirror (62), the inner face (60, 260) being a reflecting face of the mirror.

8. - Device according to one of the preceding claims, wherein the first cosmetic article (29) is a cosmetic product and the second cosmetic article (42) is an applicator of said cosmetic product.

9. - Method of using a device according to one of the preceding claims, comprising the following steps:

the tray (16, 216), in open configuration, is folded towards the base (12, 212), then

- the lid (14, 214), in the open position, is folded towards the base, so as to place the device in contact configuration, then

- the cover (14, 214) is moved in the closed position, the displacement of the cover generating a sliding of the second edge (54, 254, 255) of the plate against the inner face (60, 260) of the cover, so as to move the tray in closed configuration.

10. A method of using a device according to one of claims 2 to 8, said device comprising a means (22, 23) for locking the lid in the closed position, said method comprising the following steps:

- the lid (14), in the closed position, is unlocked, then

the gasket (56, 156), compressed by a lateral surface (31) of the base in closed configuration, is deformed away from said lateral surface, so as to rotate the plate (16) towards the open configuration.
