Abstract

L'invention concerne un frein à disque pour un véhicule utilitaire. Ledit frein comprend un étrier de frein (1) en fonte, qui enjambe un disque de frein et dans lequel est agencé un dispositif de serrage qui comporte un levier de frein pivotant ainsi qu'un élément portant au moins un piston de frein et pouvant coulisser axialement par rapport au disque de frein, en particulier un pont. Le levier de frein est réalisé à une extrémité sous la forme d'un excentrique qui s'appuie d'une part sur l'élément et d'autre part, directement ou par l'intermédiaire d'un élément intermédiaire, sur au moins un support de palier (5) formant une butée et relié à l'étrier de frein (1). Ledit frein à disque est réalisé de manière à ce que le support de palier (5) soit fixé par liaison de matières, par coopération de formes ou par friction au moyen d'au moins un élément de retenue formé sur la face intérieure de l'étrier de frein (1).
