Abstract

무선 통신 시스템에서 무선 신호 송수신 방법 및 이를 위한 장치가 개시된다. 구체적으로, 무선 통신 시스템에서 무선 통신 장치가 비면허 대역(unlicensed band)에서 무선 신호를 송수신하는 방법에 있어서, 비면허 대역에서 미리 정해진 시간 구간 동안 CCA(Clear Channel Assessment)를 수행하는 단계 및 상기 비면허 대역이 다른 무선 통신 장치에 의해 점유되지 않은 유휴(idle) 상태로 판단된 경우, 상기 비면허 대역에서 무선 신호를 전송하는 단계를 포함하고, 상기 무선 통신 장치가 방향성 안테나(directional antenna)를 사용하는 경우, 상기 방향성 안테나(directional antenna)를 이용하여 상기 무선 신호를 송수신할 때의 CCA 범위(range)와 간섭 범위 간의 제1 격차는 전방향성 안테나(omni-directional)를 이용하여 상기 무선 신호를 송수신할 때의 상기 CCA 범위와 상기 간섭 범위 간의 제2 격차와 동일하게 조절될 수 있다.
