- the radiation protection system includes a radiation shielding wall, a radiation shielding screen on the X-ray table, and a radiation shielding flexible interface that couples the radiation shielding screen and the X-ray table to the radiation shielding wall.
- the radiation shielding screen has a plurality of screen support portions attached to the X-ray table and a radiation-resistant partition wall attached to the screen support portions.
- the radiation shielding screen when the radiation shielding screen is in an expanded state, the radiation shielding screen covers the X-ray table in the work area, and a radiation resistant barrier is interposed between the patient and the doctor.
- the radiation shielding screen when performing fluoroscopic treatment, is extended from the legs of the X-ray table to the central abdomen of the patient. This radiation shielding screen can be folded when the screen support slides along the X-ray table.
- the radiation shielding screen has an access port, and a doctor can perform treatment on the patient using a surgical instrument.
- Each access port is covered by a radiation shielding cloak attached to the radiation shielding screen. This radiation shielding cloak helps protect the treating physician around the x-ray table from radiation scattered through each access port.

That is, by changing the degree of overlap between the first surgical field sheet 236 and the second surgical field sheet 237, the width and shape of the exposed surgical field S can be changed. Therefore, even if the area of the surgical field S varies depending on the patient's body shape or surgical procedure, the surgical field S can be surrounded by the protective sheet.
- Such a radiation protection tool 10 according to the second embodiment can greatly reduce the radiation dose of a medical worker and can ensure a wide work area during surgery. Moreover, since the size of each component of the radiation protection tool 10 can be reduced, its weight can be reduced. Furthermore, it can be installed in a short time before surgery, and can be easily cleaned up after surgery.
- each protective sheet can be arbitrarily changed according to the size of the photographing device 110 and the like.
- the lengths of the first side sheet 11 and the second side sheet 12 can be appropriately set according to the height of the radiation source device 101.
- the first protective sheet 1 may have four or more protective sheets or two protective sheets.
- the second protective sheet 2 may have three or more protective sheets.
- the third protective sheet 3 may have five or more protective sheets.
- the first surgical field sheet 36 of the third protective sheet 3 covers the upper side of the radiation source device 101
- the first surgical field sheet 36 may be configured to have a size that does not cover the radiation source device 101.
- first sheet support portion 5 can be formed in a substantially L-shape, similarly to the second sheet support portion 6.
- seat support part 6 should just be a shape which can support a protection sheet, and may be comprised with the pipe bent by the circular arc shape.
- the means for attaching the protective sheet to the seat support is not limited to the hook-and-loop fastener.
- the protective sheet can be attached using means such as a snap button, a belt, and an adhesive tape.
- a cylindrical attachment part may be provided in the protective sheet, and the attachment part may be attached to the sheet support part.
