Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Wärmeübertrager (1), insbesondere einen Ladeluftkühler, - mit zwei Böden(2), die jeweils Durchzüge (3) zur längsendseitigen Aufnahme von fluidführenden Rohren (4) aufweisen, - mit zumindest einem Sammelkasten(5), der an einem der Böden(2) angeordnet ist, - mit zumindest einem Seitenteil (6), das mit einem Längsendbereich (7) zumindest teilweise in einem endseitigen Durchzug (8) des zugehörigen Bodens (2) aufgenommen ist. Erfindungswesentlich ist dabei, dass der Längsendbereich (7) des Seitenteils (6) balkenartig ausgebildet ist und zumindest eine Aussparung (9) aufweist, so dass eine Querschnittsfläche des Längsendbereichs (7) kleiner ist als eine Querschnittsfläche des zugehörigen endseitigen Durchzugs (8), wobei eine maximale Materialdicke (s) des Längsendbereichs (7) in Richtung der Längserstreckung (10) des Bodens (2) geringer ist als die Höhe (h) des endseitigen Durchzugs (8).
