Abstract

L'invention concerne une barre de toit (110) à section transversale globalement en forme de larme, le côté arrière de la barre étant amputé avant le rétrécissement jusqu'à la pointe, de sorte que la largeur de la barre est plus petite au niveau d'un point médian de la section transversale qu'en des positions espacées de chaque côté. Par conséquent, la barre de toit possède un creux (112) sur la surface orientée vers l'arrière. De façon avantageuse, le creux (112) peut être utilisé pour améliorer la fixation d'accessoires (120). Des accessoires, comprenant des pieds destinés à fixer la barre de toit (110) au véhicule, sont reliés à la barre de toit. Selon les modes de réalisation illustratifs, les accessoires (120) sont assemblés à l'aide d'un pont (130) agencé pour envelopper sensiblement la périphérie extérieure de la barre de toit. Un moyen tendeur (124) est prévu pour appliquer une force de compression sur deux parties du pont (130) de manière à serrer le pont sur la barre de toit (110). De façon avantageuse, le pont (130) comprend une saillie (132) qui est reçue par le creux (112) dans l'arrière de la barre de toit. L'entrée en prise de la saillie (132) et du creux (112) permet de résister au déplacement, par exemple à la rotation, des accessoires (120) autour de la barre, par un clavetage.
