Abstract

본 개시는 센서 네트워크(Sensor Network), 사물 통신(Machine to Machine, M2M), MTC(Machine Type Communication) 및 사물 인터넷(Internet of Things, IoT)을 위한 기술과 관련된 것이다. 본 개시는 상기 기술을 기반으로 하는 지능형 서비스(스마트 홈, 스마트 빌딩, 스마트 시티, 스마트 카 혹은 커넥티드 카, 헬스 케어, 디지털 교육, 소매업, 보안 및 안전 관련 서비스 등)에 활용될 수 있다. 본 발명의 실시 예에 따른 테더링 장치의 동작 방법은, 클라이언트 장치로부터 수신된 데이터(data) 요청 메시지(request message)의 특성에 따라 제1망(network), 제2망 중 적어도 하나의 망을 선택하는 과정과, 서버(server)로부터 상기 선택된 적어도 하나의 망을 통해 수신된 응답 메시지(response message)를 상기 클라이언트 장치로 송신하는 과정을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
