Description

メッセージ処理装置、メッセージ処理方法、記録媒体およびプログラム
 本発明は、メッセージ処理装置、メッセージ処理方法、記録媒体およびプログラムに関する。
 近年、インターネットを介してメッセージを送信することが一般化している。インターネットを通じてメッセージを送る場合、そのメッセージは宛先ユーザにとって理解できる言語でないと、宛先ユーザはメッセージを理解することができず、メッセージはその目的を達することができない。そのため、宛先ユーザごとに、メッセージを構成する言語を宛先の顧客が理解できるものに切り替えて送信することが行われている。
 送信するメッセージの言語を自動で切り替える技術はすでに存在する。例えば特許文献1では、電子メールからファクシミリデータを生成し、生成したファクシミリデータを宛先に送信する装置が開示されている。この装置は、データを送信する際に、電子メールのFromアドレスに付記された発信元データに日本語が含まれるか否かを判別し、含まれると判別した場合には日本語の文字コードで、含まれないと判別した場合は英語の文字コードでメール本文をエンコードすることにより、ファクシミリデータを生成する。

 しかし、従来技術では、全体としてメッセージの言語を特定するにとどまり、宛先ユーザが理解できるかどうかを適切に考慮することはできなかった。上述した特許文献1が開示する発明では、Fromアドレスに付記された発信元データに日本語が含まれるか否かに基づいて、Fromアドレスおよび本文をエンコードする文字コードを決定しているだけであった。この発明では、宛先ユーザが理解できるかどうかという点は全く考慮されておらず、そのため、宛先ユーザにとって理解できない言語でメッセージが送付されるケースがあった。こういったケースを解消するため、宛先ユーザが理解できる言語でメッセージを作成するための技術が求められている。
 本発明は、このような問題点に鑑みてなされたものであり、その目的とするところは、宛先ユーザが理解できる字句でメッセージを容易に作成できるメッセージ処理装置を実現することである。
 上記目的を達成するため、本発明の第1の観点に係るメッセージ処理装置は、
 宛先ユーザが理解可能な字句を推定する推定部、
 送信元ユーザが作成したメッセージから、前記推定された字句に該当しない部分を抽出する抽出部、
 前記送信元ユーザに、前記メッセージを、前記抽出された部分を強調して表示する表示部、
 を備えることを特徴とする。

 上記目的を達成するため、本発明の第3の観点に係る記録媒体は、
 コンピュータに、
 宛先ユーザが理解可能な字句を推定する推定手順、
 送信元ユーザが作成したメッセージから、前記推定された字句に該当しない部分を抽出する抽出手順、
 前記送信元ユーザに、前記メッセージを、前記抽出された部分を強調して表示する表示手順、
 を実行させるプログラムを記録する。
 上記目的を達成するため、本発明の第4の観点に係るプログラムは、
 コンピュータに、
 宛先ユーザが理解可能な字句を推定する推定手順、
 送信元ユーザが作成したメッセージから、前記推定された字句に該当しない部分を抽出する抽出手順、

 本発明によれば、宛先ユーザが理解できる字句によりメッセージを容易に作成できる。

 以下、本発明の実施形態について添付図面を参照しつつ説明する。
<実施の形態1>
 本発明の実施の形態1に係るメッセージ処理装置10は、例えばインターネット市場での仮想店舗(送信元ユーザ)が、顧客(宛先ユーザ)に送信するメッセージを作成する機能を有するものである。メッセージ処理装置10は、送信元ユーザが、宛先ユーザに配信するメッセージを作成する際に、作成されたメッセージに宛先ユーザが理解できない字句が含まれることを避けるための機能を提供する。
 一般消費者がインターネット上の仮想店舗(以下、ショップ)から商品を購入した場合、ショップから購入者へ、取引内容を通知するメッセージを送信することが一般的に行われている。ショップが送信するメッセージは、購入者が理解できる言語で記載されていることが望ましく、通常は購入者が購入処理において使用した言語で記載されたメッセージが送信される。
 しかし、ある言語でインターネットを介した購入処理を行った購入者が、その言語について、メッセージに記載された内容を全て理解できる言語レベルを備えているとは限らない。購入者の言語レベルが、商品名と価格については問題なく認識することができ、それゆえ購入処理をすることはできるが、文章を読むことはできない水準であることもある。このような場合、ショップが購入者に、購入処理がなされた言語で記載されたメッセージを送信しても、購入者はそのメッセージを理解することができない。
 こういった事態を避けるために、本発明の実施の形態1に係るメッセージ処理装置10は、購入者(宛先ユーザ)が理解できない字句が送信しようとしているメッセージに含まれている場合に、その部分を強調してショップ(送信元ユーザ)に示す。送信元ユーザが、強調して表示された部分を修正することにより、宛先ユーザの理解できない字句が含まれたメッセージが送信されることを避けることができる。
 実施の形態1に係るメッセージ処理装置10は、図1に示すように、機能面では、推定部11、抽出部12、および表示部13を備える。
 推定部11は、宛先ユーザ1が理解可能な字句を推定する。具体的な推定部11の動作については後述する。
 抽出部12は、メッセージ3から、推定部11が推定した字句に該当しない部分を抽出する。ここでメッセージ3は、送信元ユーザ2が、宛先ユーザ1に向けて送信すべく作成したもの、あるいは作成中のものである。
 表示部13は、メッセージ3を、抽出部12が抽出した部分を強調して送信元ユーザ2に表示する。
 また、メッセージ処理装置10は、以上に述べた機能のほか、一般的なメッセージ作成に関する機能(メッセージを編集するためのユーザインタフェースの提供や、作成されたメッセージの記録と更新など)を備えるものである。これらにより、メッセージ処理装置10は、送信元ユーザ2が、宛先ユーザ1に配信するメッセージ3を作成する際に、作成されたメッセージ3に宛先ユーザ1が理解できない字句が含まるか検証し、含まれている場合はその字句を送信元ユーザ2に強調して表示する。
 本実施の形態に係るメッセージ処理装置10は、図2に示すように、ハードウェアとして、CPU(Central Processing Unit)110、ROM(Read Only Memory)111、RAM(Random Access Memory)112、記憶装置120、操作デバイス130、ディスプレイ140、ネットワークインターフェース150を備え、これらが内部バス160を介して互いに接続された構成を有する。
 CPU110は、ROM111、RAM112および記憶装置120が記憶するプログラムを実行することにより、メッセージ処理装置10の全体を制御する。CPU110は、必要に応じてROM111、RAM112、記憶装置120から実行するプログラムを読み出し、また必要に応じてRAM112、記憶装置120上にデータを保存する。CPU110は、上述した各機能を実現する要素(推定部11、抽出部12、および表示部13)として機能する。
 ROM111は、CPU110が稼動する上で必要となるプログラム、例えばメッセージ処理装置10の起動時にCPU110が最初に実行するプログラム等を記憶する。
 RAM112は、CPU110がプログラムを実行する際にワークエリアとして機能する。すなわち、RAM112は、CPU110が実行中のプログラム、あるいは、CPU110がプログラムを実行する上で必要となる一時的なデータを記録し、CPU110からの要求に応じてCPU110に提供する。
 記憶装置120は、ハードディスクドライブやフラッシュメモリ等の記憶装置を備え、メッセージ処理装置10が稼動するために必要なデータを記憶する。
 記憶装置120は、例えば、CPU110が実行するためのプログラム、あるいはCPU110がプログラムを実行する上で参照するデータを記録し、CPU110からの要求に応じてCPU110に提供する。また、記憶装置120は、CPU110からの要求に応じ、CPU110から出力されたデータを記録する。
 操作デバイス130は、キーボードやマウス等を備え、送信元ユーザ2による入力操作を受け付けてCPU110に伝達する。
 ディスプレイ140は、送信元ユーザ2に対し、必要な情報を表示する。
 ネットワークインターフェース150は、メッセージ処理装置10をネットワーク(図示せず)に接続する。メッセージ処理装置10が、ネットワークを介して他機器に情報を送信し、あるいは他機器から情報を受信する際、ネットワークインターフェース150は、CPU110から後述する内部バス160を介して受信した情報を、ネットワークを介して他機器へ送信し、また他機器からネットワークを介して受信した情報を、内部バス160を介してCPU110へ送信する。一例として、メッセージ処理装置10は、ネットワークインターフェース150を介し、インターネットを経由して宛先ユーザ1に電子メールを送信する。
 ネットワークインターフェース150は、例えばケーブルを介してメッセージ処理装置10をネットワークに接続してもよいし、あるいは無線通信によりメッセージ処理装置10をネットワークに接続してもよい。
 内部バス160は、メッセージ処理装置10内の構成要素(CPU110、ROM111、RAM112、記憶装置120、操作デバイス130、ディスプレイ140、ネットワークインターフェース150等)間での情報のやり取りを中継する。例えば、CPU110が必要なデータを記憶装置120から読み出すとき、CPU110は、内部バス160を介して記憶装置120からデータを読み出す。
 本実施の形態に係るメッセージ処理装置10において、記憶装置120は、図3に示すように、メッセージ草稿121を記録する領域、言語ライブラリ122を記録する領域、言語判定ライブラリ123を記録する領域、およびメッセージテンプレート124を記録する領域を有する。記憶装置120は、CPU110からの要求に応じて、これらのデータをCPU110に出力し、あるいはCPU110から出力されたデータをこれらの領域に保存する。
 メッセージ草稿121とは、送信元ユーザ2が、宛先ユーザ1に向けて送信することを目的として作成し、まだ送信されていないメッセージ3である。メッセージ処理装置10は、送信元ユーザ2が作成したメッセージ草稿121を記憶装置120に記録する。その後、そのメッセージ草稿121を宛先ユーザ1に送信すると、メッセージ処理装置10は当該メッセージ草稿121を削除し、あるいは他の領域、他の機器に移動する。
 言語ライブラリ122とは、メッセージ処理装置10が取り扱うことができる各言語の文字コード、その言語で使用される文字又は字句等を記録したデータである。メッセージ処理装置10は、各言語の言語ライブラリ122を記憶装置120に記録する。
 言語判定ライブラリ123とは、メッセージ処理装置10がメッセージ草稿121に含まれる字句の言語を判定するためのデータである。メッセージ処理装置10は、字句の言語を判定するために、例えばその字句の文字コードに基づいて判定する方法、その字句がその言語の辞書に記録されているかどうかに基づいて判定する方法、字句に含まれる文字および綴りの特徴から判断する方法などを用いることができる。メッセージ処理装置10は、言語判定に必要な言語判定ライブラリ123を記憶装置120に記録し、必要に応じて読み出す。
 文字コードに基づいて判定する方法では、メッセージ処理装置10は、判定対象の字句の文字コードが、ある特定の言語においてのみ使用される文字コードであったときに、その字句はその特定の言語に属するものと判定する。例えば、平仮名および片仮名で記述された文字又は字句は、メッセージ処理装置10内部において、日本語に特有の文字コードによって記録されている。メッセージ処理装置10は、日本語に特有の文字コードによって記録されている字句がメッセージ草稿121に含まれていると、当該字句を日本語に属するものと判定する。
 同様に、例えば朝鮮語においてのみ使用される文字コードで記録されている文字(ハングル)がメッセージ草稿121に含まれていると、メッセージ処理装置10は当該字句を朝鮮語に属するものと判定する。メッセージ草稿121に、簡体字あるいは繁体字(それぞれ、中国語においてのみ使用される文字コードで表記される文字)で記録される字句があると、メッセージ処理装置10は当該字句を中国語に属するものと判定する。
 メッセージテンプレート124とは、メッセージ草稿121の原型となるデータであり、例えば送信すべきメッセージの本文、連絡先情報など送信元ユーザ2が送信するメッセージの多数において共通する事項が予め記載されたデータである。送信元ユーザ2がメッセージ処理装置10でメッセージ草稿121を作成する際、メッセージテンプレート124をコピーしてメッセージ草稿121を作成し、編集が必要な部分だけを編集することで、容易に新しいメッセージ草稿121を作成することができる。
 メッセージ処理装置10は、使用できる言語ごとにメッセージテンプレート124を記憶装置120に記録する。また、作成されたメッセージ草稿121がメッセージテンプレート124を利用して作成されたものである場合、メッセージ処理装置10は、そのメッセージ草稿121がどの言語のメッセージテンプレート124を編集して作成されたものか記録する。また、メッセージ処理装置10は、送信元ユーザ2がテンプレートによらずメッセージを作成したい場合には、テンプレートによらず(あるいは、有効なデータを持たないテンプレートを用いて)メッセージを作成することもできる。
 実施の形態1に係るメッセージ処理装置10は、図4に示すフローチャートにより、メッセージ作成処理を行う。ここから、メッセージ作成処理について説明する。
 メッセージ作成処理の最初に、CPU110は、送信元ユーザ2による入力を受け付け、その操作に応じてメッセージ草稿121の作成および編集を行う(ステップS01)。このステップでは、例えば、CPU110は送信元ユーザ2の操作に従い、送信元ユーザ2が選択したメッセージテンプレート124を記憶装置120から読み出し、メッセージ草稿121として記憶装置120に記録する。あるいは、CPU110は、送信元ユーザ2の操作に従い、メッセージ草稿121に編集を加え、編集されたメッセージ草稿121のデータを記録する。
 次にCPU110は、メッセージ検証処理を行う(ステップS02)。このステップでは、CPU110はメッセージ草稿121に含まれる字句を検証し、その中に宛先ユーザ1が理解できない字句が含まれていれば、当該字句を強調してメッセージ草稿121を送信元ユーザ2に提示する。詳しくは、後述する。
 次に、CPU110は、送信元ユーザ2による検証結果を確認する(ステップS03)。このステップでは、ステップS02で送信元ユーザ2に示された検証結果を送信元ユーザ2が確認し、その応答をCPU110が受け付ける。具体的には、ステップS02で示されたメッセージ草稿121に宛先ユーザ1が理解できない字句が含まれていないか、あるいは含まれているが送信元ユーザ2が許容すると判断した場合、送信元ユーザ2はメッセージ処理装置10に、メッセージ草稿121の再編集を行わないことを入力する。一方、メッセージ草稿121に宛先ユーザ1が理解できない字句が含まれており、送信元ユーザ2がメッセージ草稿121の再編集を希望する場合、再編集を行うことを入力する。
 CPU110は、送信元ユーザ2がメッセージ草稿121の再編集を希望するか否かを入力された内容から判別する(ステップS04)。送信元ユーザ2が再編集を希望している場合(ステップS04:YES)、CPU110は処理をステップS01に戻し、再び送信元ユーザ2の操作に応じてメッセージ草稿の作成および編集を行う(ステップS01)。一方、送信元ユーザ2が再編集を希望していない場合(ステップS04:NO)、CPU110はメッセージ作成処理を終了する。
 ここまで述べたメッセージ作成処理により、メッセージ処理装置10は送信元ユーザ2が宛先ユーザ1に送信するメッセージを作成する。特にメッセージ処理装置10は、上述したようにメッセージ検証処理(ステップS02)によりメッセージ草稿121に含まれる宛先ユーザ1の理解できない字句を検出し、送信元ユーザ2に示す。ここから、図5に示すフローチャートを参照し、メッセージ検証処理について説明する。
 メッセージ検証処理の最初に、CPU110は、推定工程S10を実行し、宛先ユーザ1が理解できる字句を推定する。この工程を実行することにより、CPU110は、推定部11として機能する。推定工程S10の詳細については後述する。
 推定工程S10の次に、CPU110は、抽出工程S20を実行する。抽出工程S20において、CPU110は、メッセージ草稿121を記憶装置120から読み出す。次にCPU110は、読み出したメッセージ草稿121から、推定工程S10で推定された字句に該当しない部分を抽出する。この工程を実行することにより、CPU110は、抽出部12として機能する。
 抽出工程S20の次に、CPU110は、表示工程S30を実行する。表示工程S30において、CPU110は、メッセージ草稿121をディスプレイ140に表示する。その際、メッセージ草稿121のうち、抽出工程S20で抽出された部分を強調して表示する。強調する方法としては、文字を点滅させたり、フォントを変えたりサイズを大きくする等、任意の方法を用いることができる。この工程を実行することにより、CPU110は、表示部13として機能する。また、CPU110は、表示工程S30を終えると、メッセージ検証処理を終了する。
 ここまで示したメッセージ検証処理により、メッセージ処理装置10は、メッセージ草稿121に含まれる、宛先ユーザ1が理解できないと推定される字句を送信元ユーザ2に明示することができる。送信元ユーザ2が、メッセージ草稿121の当該部分を編集し、宛先ユーザ1が理解できる字句に変更することで、宛先ユーザ1が理解できる字句のみで構成されたメッセージを容易に作成することができる。
 ここから、上述した推定工程S10について、図6を参照し、より詳細に説明する。
 推定工程S10の最初にCPU110は、メッセージ草稿121を記憶装置120から読み出す(ステップS110)。
 次にCPU110は、読み出したメッセージ草稿121を字句単位に分割する(ステップS120)。具体的には、CPU110は、形態素解析等を行うことにより、メッセージ草稿121を字句ごとに分割する。メッセージ処理装置10が扱える言語には、例えば日本語のように字句ごとの分節点が明示されていない言語がある一方で、英語のように字句間にはスペースが挿入されており分節点が明示されている言語もある。いずれの言語においても字句ごとに分割することができるように、CPU110は、形態素解析等によって字句分割を行う。
 次にCPU110は、字句単位に分割されたメッセージ草稿121において、各字句の言語が何であるかを判定する(ステップS130)。具体的には、CPU110は、メッセージ草稿121のうち、ステップS120において分割されたメッセージ草稿121から字句を読み出し、当該字句が何の言語に属するものであるかを、言語判定ライブラリ123を参照して判定する。あるいはCPU110は、当該字句の文字コードを識別し、識別した文字コードに基づいて、当該字句が何の言語に属するものであるかを判定する。これをメッセージ草稿121の最後の字句まで行うことにより、メッセージ草稿121に含まれる全字句の言語を判定する。
 次にCPU110は、メッセージ草稿121の主たる言語が何であるかを推定する(ステップS140)。具体的には、CPU110は、ステップS130によりメッセージ草稿121の各字句の言語を判定した結果、最も多数の字句が属する言語を、そのメッセージ草稿121の主たる言語と推定する。あるいは、ステップS130の結果、所定の閾値(例えば30%など、予め定められた値)よりも多い割合で含まれていた言語を、そのメッセージ草稿121の主たる言語と推定してもよい。
 次にCPU110は、メッセージ草稿121において、主たる言語に属する字句を、宛先ユーザ1が理解できる字句と推定する(ステップS150)。ステップS150を終了すると、CPU110は、推定工程S10を終了する。
 以上に記載した推定工程S10により、CPU110は、メッセージ草稿121に基づいて、宛先ユーザ1が理解可能な字句を推定する。CPU110は、推定工程S10によって推定された字句を元に、それ以降の工程(抽出工程S20および表示工程S30)を実行する。CPU110は、抽出工程S20において、メッセージ草稿121から推定工程S10で推定された字句に該当しない部分を抽出する。それに続き、CPU110は、メッセージ草稿121を、抽出工程で抽出された部分を強調して送信元ユーザ2に表示する。
 このように動作することにより、メッセージ処理装置10は、宛先ユーザ1が理解できる字句によるメッセージ草稿121を容易に作成する機能を送信元ユーザ2に提供する。
 上述した動作においては、メッセージ処理装置10は、メッセージ草稿121を字句解析することにより、メッセージ草稿121の主たる言語を推定した。しかしながら、メッセージ処理装置10は、必ずしも字句解析を行わなくともよい。例えば、メッセージ処理装置10は、メッセージ草稿121が作成されるときに利用されたメッセージテンプレート124が属する言語を、そのメッセージ草稿121の主たる言語と推定してもよい。
 また、メッセージ処理装置10は、メッセージ草稿121に、主たる言語では利用されない文字コードの文字からなる部分があった場合に、当該部分を強調表示するものとしてもよい。
 メッセージ処理装置10は、メッセージ草稿121における主たる言語を推定する。そのため、例えば、メッセージ草稿121に特定の付与部分(電子メールにおけるシグネチャ等)を自動付与する場合に、メッセージ草稿121における主たる言語に基づいて付与部分を選択し、適切に付与することも可能である。この場合、メッセージ処理装置10は、記憶装置120に、予め言語ごとに異なる付与部分を記録する。そして、メッセージ処理装置10は、記録されている複数の付与部分から、メッセージ草稿121について推定した主たる言語と同じ言語に属する付与部分を選択し、選択した付与部分をメッセージ草稿121に付与する。のちに、メッセージ処理装置10は、付与部分が付与されたメッセージ草稿121を、宛先ユーザ1に送信する。
<実施の形態2>
 上述した実施の形態1では、メッセージ草稿121、あるいはメッセージ草稿121が作成されたときのメッセージテンプレート124に基づいて、宛先ユーザ1が理解可能な字句を推定するメッセージ処理装置10について説明した。実施の形態2では、これに加え、メッセージ草稿121の作成よりも過去の時点の宛先ユーザ1の応答に基づいて、宛先ユーザ1が理解可能な字句を推定するメッセージ処理装置20について説明する。
 実施の形態2に係るメッセージ処理装置20は、図7に示すように、機能面では、推定部11、抽出部12、表示部13、および提示部21を備える。このうち、推定部11、抽出部12、表示部13については実施の形態1にかかるメッセージ処理装置10のものと同一であり、説明を割愛する。
 提示部21は、宛先ユーザ1に、応答を求める表示を提示する機能を有する。例えば、送信元ユーザ2がショップである場合、提示部21は宛先ユーザ1(ショップの顧客)に、購入した商品の配送方法や、代金の支払い方法などを選択肢により提示する。提示部21が提示した内容に応じて宛先ユーザ1が選択すると、送信元ユーザ2(ショップ)は宛先ユーザ1の選択を参照し、宛先ユーザ1が指定した内容に従って対応することが可能となる。
 メッセージ処理装置20は、実施の形態1のメッセージ処理装置10と同様のハードウェア構成(図2参照)を有し、これらにより上述した各機能(推定部11、抽出部12、表示部13、および提示部21)を実現する。各ハードウェアの動作は実施の形態1と同様であり、説明を割愛する。
 ここから、メッセージ処理装置20が、宛先ユーザ1の応答を応答記録125に記録する処理(応答記録処理)について説明する。
 ショップの顧客である宛先ユーザ1が、ショップである送信元ユーザ2から商品などを購入した場合、送信元ユーザ2から配送方法など、宛先ユーザ1から送信元ユーザ2に情報を伝達することになる。このように、宛先ユーザ1から送信元ユーザ2に情報を伝達する必要が生じた際、メッセージ処理装置20は、図8に示す応答記録処理を開始する。
 応答記録処理の最初の段階では、CPU110は、宛先ユーザに選択肢を提示する(ステップS41)。CPU110は、例えば配送方法、購入代金の支払い方法など、宛先ユーザ1から送信元ユーザ2に伝達すべき情報について、その候補となる内容を複数の選択肢として宛先ユーザ1に提示する。ここで、CPU110は、後述するように、同一の概念を異なる複数の言語で示す選択肢を提示する。このように、CPU110は、提示部21として機能する。
 次にCPU110は、宛先ユーザ1による選択を受信する(ステップS42)。CPU110は、ステップS41で提示した選択肢の中から宛先ユーザ1が選択した選択肢を示す情報を、宛先ユーザ1から受領する。
 次にCPU110は、受信した情報により、記憶装置120に記録されている応答記録125を更新する(ステップS43)。このようにすることで、宛先ユーザ1が過去に自らの意思で選択した字句が記憶装置120に応答記録125として記録され、それが蓄積されることとなる。ステップS43を終了すると、CPU110は、応答記録処理を終了する。
 メッセージ処理装置20は記憶装置120に、図9に示すように、メッセージ草稿121を記録する領域、言語ライブラリ122を記録する領域、言語判定ライブラリ123を記録する領域、メッセージテンプレート124に加え、応答記録125を記録する領域を有する。応答記録125は、前述の応答記録処理において、メッセージ処理装置20が受け付けた宛先ユーザ1からの応答を記録したデータである。メッセージ草稿121、言語ライブラリ122、言語判定ライブラリ123、メッセージテンプレート124については、実施の形態1において説明したものと同様であり、説明を割愛する。
 メッセージ処理装置20は、上述したように、提示部21の機能により宛先ユーザ1に、複数の選択肢を提示し、その中から宛先ユーザ1の所望の選択肢を選択させる。ここで、メッセージ処理装置20が提示する選択肢には、同一の概念を、異なる複数の言語で表示する選択肢が含まれる。
 同一の概念を異なる複数の言語で表示する選択肢の一例として、メッセージ処理装置20は、図10で示すような画面を宛先ユーザ1に提示する。この例では、宛先ユーザ1に購入した商品を配送する配送業者を選択させる画面において、提示部21は、同一の配送業者(アカサ運輸)を、日本語で表示する選択肢201と、英語で表示した選択肢211と、ドイツ語で表示した選択肢221の3つを表示している。また提示部21は、他の配送業者(ABCグローバルロジスティクス)についても、日本語で表示する選択肢202と、英語で表示する選択肢212と、ドイツ語で表示する222の3つを表示している。
 図10に示された内容において、宛先ユーザ1が選択肢201を選択した場合、宛先ユーザ1が選択肢201を選択したこと、および、選択肢201の字句が応答記録125に記録される。後にメッセージ処理装置20がメッセージ検証処理を行う際、メッセージ処理装置20は、応答記録125に宛先ユーザ1が選択肢201の字句が記録されていることから、宛先ユーザ1が当該字句「アカサ運輸」を理解できると推定する。同様に、宛先ユーザ1が選択肢212を選択していた場合、メッセージ処理装置20は応答記録125の内容に基づき、宛先ユーザ1が選択肢212に記載されている「ABC GLOBAL LOGISTICS」という字句を理解できると推定する。
 メッセージ処理装置20は、実施の形態1と同様に、推定工程S10、抽出工程S20、表示工程S30を含むメッセージ検証処理を実行する。抽出工程S20および表示工程S30については実施の形態1と同様であり、説明を割愛する。
 メッセージ処理装置20は、図11に示されたフローチャートに従って推定工程S10を実行する。
 CPU110は、推定工程S10の最初に、記憶装置120から応答記録125を読み出す(ステップS210)。
 次にCPU110は、読み出した応答記録125に記録されている字句を、宛先ユーザ1が理解できる字句と推定する(ステップS220)。ステップS220を終了すると、CPU110は、推定工程S10を終了する。
 メッセージ処理装置20は、上述した推定工程S10を実行することにより、宛先ユーザ1が理解できる字句を推定する。その後、抽出工程S20および表示工程S30を実行することにより、宛先ユーザ1に理解できない字句がメッセージ草稿121に含まれることを避けることを実現する。
 メッセージ処理装置20は、宛先ユーザ1が過去に自らの意思で選択した字句を、宛先ユーザ1が理解可能な字句として推定する。具体的には、メッセージ処理装置20は、宛先ユーザ1に、一つの概念を第1の言語(例えば、日本語により第1の字句として表した第1の選択肢と、同じ概念を第2の言語(例えば、英語)により第2の字句として表した第2の選択肢とを含む複数の選択肢を提示する。そして、過去に宛先ユーザ1が第1の選択肢を選択したことがあれば、メッセージ処理装置20は、第1の選択肢に含まれる字句を宛先ユーザ1が理解可能な字句として推定する。また、過去に宛先ユーザ1が第2の選択肢を選択したことがあれば、メッセージ処理装置20は、第2の選択肢に含まれる字句を宛先ユーザ1が理解可能な字句として推定する。そのため、実施の形態1に比べ、より高い精度で宛先ユーザ1が理解できる字句を推定することができる。
 メッセージ処理装置20が有する機能は、いずれも実施の形態1に係るメッセージ処理装置10が有する機能と相反するものではない。そのため、メッセージ処理装置20は、実施の形態1で説明された機能を有するものであってもよい。
 本発明の実施形態にかかるメッセージ処理装置は、専用のシステムによらず、通常のコンピュータシステムを用いても実現可能である。例えば、コンピュータに、上記動作を実行するためのプログラムを、フレキシブルディスク、CD-ROM(Compact Disk-Read Only Memory)、DVD(Digital Versatile Disk)、MO(Magnet Optical Disk)などのコンピュータ読み取り可能な記録媒体に記憶して配布し、これをコンピュータシステムにインストールすることにより、上述の処理を実行するメッセージ処理装置を構成しても良い。さらに、インターネット上のサーバ装置が有するディスク装置等にプログラムを記憶しておき、例えば、搬送波に重畳させて、コンピュータにダウンロード等するものとしてもよい。
 また、本発明の実施形態に係るメッセージ処理装置は、一台で実現されるものに限定されない。複数のコンピュータが上述した各部の機能を分担することにより、それらの複数のコンピュータからなる一つのシステムとして各機能を提供するものであってもよい。
 以上、本発明の好ましい実施形態について詳述したが、本発明は係る特定の実施形態に限定されるものではなく、特許請求の範囲に記載された本発明の要旨の範囲内において、種々の変形、変更が可能である。
 また、上述した実施形態は、本発明を説明するためのものであり、本発明の範囲を限定するものではない。つまり、本発明の範囲は、実施形態ではなく、請求の範囲によって示される。そして、請求の範囲内及びそれと同等の発明の意義の範囲内で施される様々な変形が、本発明の範囲内とみなされる。

Claims (10)

  1.  宛先ユーザが理解可能な字句を推定する推定部、
     送信元ユーザが作成したメッセージから、前記推定された字句に該当しない部分を抽出する抽出部、
     前記送信元ユーザに、前記メッセージを、前記抽出された部分を強調して表示する表示部、
     を備えるメッセージ処理装置。
  2.  前記推定部は、前記送信元ユーザがメッセージを作成する際に利用した、メッセージのテンプレートに対応付けられた言語に基づいて前記宛先ユーザが理解可能な字句を推定する、
     ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のメッセージ処理装置。
  3.  前記推定部は、前記送信元ユーザが作成したメッセージに出現する文字コードに基づいて、メッセージの主たる言語を推定し、推定された言語の字句を前記宛先ユーザが理解可能な字句として推定する、
     ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のメッセージ処理装置。
  4.  前記推定部は、前記宛先ユーザが過去に自らの意思で選択した字句を、前記宛先ユーザが理解可能な字句として推定する、
     ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のメッセージ処理装置。
  5.  前記宛先ユーザに、一つの概念を異なる複数の言語で表示する選択肢を提示する提示部を備え、
     前記推定部は、過去に前記提示された選択肢の中から前記宛先ユーザが選択した選択肢に含まれる字句を、前記宛先ユーザが理解可能な字句として推定する、
     ことを特徴とする請求項4に記載のメッセージ処理装置。
  6.  前記宛先ユーザに、一つの概念を第1の言語の字句で表した第1の選択肢と、当該一つの概念を前記第1の言語とは異なる第2の言語の字句で表した第2の選択肢と、を含む複数の選択肢を提示する提示部を備え、
     前記推定部は、前記宛先ユーザが前記第1の選択肢を過去に選択したことがあれば、前記第1の選択肢に含まれる字句を前記宛先ユーザが理解可能な字句として推定し、前記宛先ユーザが前記第2の選択肢を過去に選択したことがあれば、前記第2の選択肢に含まれる字句を前記宛先ユーザが理解可能な字句として推定する、
     ことを特徴とする請求項4に記載のメッセージ処理装置。
  7.  予め言語ごとに記録されている複数の付与部分から、前記推定されたメッセージの主たる言語に基づいて1つの付与部分を選択し、選択した付与部分を当該メッセージに付して送信する送信部、を備える、
     ことを特徴とする請求項3に記載のメッセージ処理装置。
  8.  宛先ユーザが理解可能な字句を推定する推定ステップ、
     送信元ユーザが作成したメッセージから、前記推定された字句に該当しない部分を抽出する抽出ステップ、
     前記送信元ユーザに、前記メッセージを、前記抽出された部分を強調して表示する表示ステップ、
     を備えるメッセージ処理方法。
  9.  コンピュータに、
     宛先ユーザが理解可能な字句を推定する推定手順、
     送信元ユーザが作成したメッセージから、前記推定された字句に該当しない部分を抽出する抽出手順、
     前記送信元ユーザに、前記メッセージを、前記抽出された部分を強調して表示する表示手順、
     を実行させるプログラムを記録した記録媒体。
  10.  コンピュータに、
     宛先ユーザが理解可能な字句を推定する推定手順、
     送信元ユーザが作成したメッセージから、前記推定された字句に該当しない部分を抽出する抽出手順、
     前記送信元ユーザに、前記メッセージを、前記抽出された部分を強調して表示する表示手順、
