Description

A method of and means for positioning of an outer form panel used as a part of a form for concreting of walls
THE FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention refers to a method for positioning of an outer form panel used as a part of a form for concreting of walls according to the pre-characterized portion of claim 1 . The invention also refers to means for positioning of a form panel used as a part of a form for concreting of walls according to the pre-characterized portion of claim 6.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION AND PRIOR ART
Form panels - with dimensions: width about one meter or less to about six meter or even more, height about 3 meter and thickness about 120 mm - are used when concreting vertical walls of buildings. The vertical concrete walls are normally concreted on a concreted floor.
In order to get correct position of the form panels and hence the walls, the form panels need to get correct position on the floor.
One of the first steps in the process of concreting of walls is to mark the desired position of the outer side of the wall by drawing a line at the concrete floor.
The common used method is thereafter to fix a number of spacers along said line. The spacers have a first plane vertical side perpendicular to the floor and a second plane vertical side parallel to the first side. The distance between said first side and said second side is the same as the width of the wall that will be concreted. The spacers are fixed in a way that said first side is in-line with the marked line at the floor. The form panels are normally too heavy to be moved manually but are put in correct position by any type of lifting equipment. The next step is to put one or several form panels close to the said first side of the spacers by means of such lifting equipment.
Thereafter the same numbers of opposite form panels are put close to said second side of the spacers. The form panels and corresponding opposite form panels are then put in correct position i.e. are forced in contact with said first side of the spacers and said second side of the spaces, by locking nuts that drag the panels towards each other.
There are a number of problems and disadvantages associated with this described common used method.
One disadvantage is that the spacers will become a part of the concreted wall.
A problem is that the outer form panel can slip down if the first side of the spacer is close to an edge.
Another problem is that if the friction between one of the form panels and the floor is too big, the locking nut will move only one of the form panels. The opposite form panel is not getting into contact to the side of the spacer and in worst case the spacer will be wrenched off from its fixed position.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
The object of the present invention is to provide a method and means for positioning of only one of the two panels of the form for concreting of walls, by use of one or a number U-formed steering profiles that are temporarily fixed to the concrete floor along the above mentioned line. When said form panel is fixed in correct position, the opposite form panel can easily be fixed by locking nuts and distances between the two form panels. After the wall has been concreted as well the form panels as said U-formed steering profiles will be removed.
The advantages of this new method are obvious as it overcomes all the above described disadvantages and problems of the method and means used to-day.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF VARIOUS EMBODIMENTS OF THE INVENTION
Fig. 1 shows a floor (1 ) that is the base of a wall (2) that will be concreted. It also shows a line (3) marking the desired position of one side (2a) of said wall (2).
Fig. 2 shows a form panel (4) being one of two form panels for concreting of said wall (2). It also shows a lifting device (5) that is used for lifting said form panel (4) in place. Said form panel can consist of one or several elements of different designs and different dimensions connected to each other in a way that it can be lifted and handled as one unit.
Fig. 3 shows spacers (6) placed at the floor (1 ) having a first plane vertical side surface (7) that defines the spatial orientation of one of the surfaces of the wall (2) to be concreted and a second plane vertical side surface (8) that defines the plane of the other side of said wall.
The distance between said first plane vertical side surface (7) and said second plane vertical side surface (8) is the same as the thickness of the wall (2) that will be concreted.
Fig. 4 shows said form panel (4) positioned close to said first plane vertical side surface (7) and the opposite form panel (9) close to said second plane vertical side surface (8).
Fig. 5 shows the potential problem that said form panel (4) can slip over the edge (10) if the first plane vertical side surface (7) of the spacer (6) is close to said edge (10). Fig. 6 shows how the two form panels (4) and (9) respectively are forced in contact with said first plane vertical side surface (7) and said second plane vertical side surface (8), by forces (1 1 ) and (12) respectively.

Fig. 8 is a view from above of a U-formed steering profile (13) showing that the horizontal projection line (19) of the inner side surface (16a) overlaps the line (3) at the floor (1 ). This figure also shows that said first vertical side plate (16) has the thickness (t).
Fig. 9 shows that the imprint at the wall (2) to be concreted is equal to the thickness (t) and the height and length of said first vertical side (16).
Fig. 10A is a side view showing the U-formed steering profile (13) and said form panel (4) hanging by a lifting device (5) above the U-formed steering profile (13) in a position that the edge (4a) is horizontally projected on the third side plate (18).
Fig. 10B shows that the edge (4a) hits the third side plate (18) when said form panel (4) is lowered downwards provided that the horizontal projection of the third side plate (18) is sufficiently large, meaning that the inclination angle (□) is at least 10 degrees and preferably not less than 40 degrees.
Fig. 10C shows that said form panel (4) slides on third side plate (18) and moves as well downwards as horizontal in the direction towards the first vertical side plate (16) when it is further lowered, provided that the inclination angle (□) is not more than 60 degrees preferably not more than 52 degrees.
