これにより、前記連続体W40は第1分割不織布W41と、第2分割不織布W42とに分割される。各分割不織布W41,42は各々、一方または他方の胴回り部材3を形成する。
前記第1分割不織布W41において、スリットされた一方の前記中央領域4Cと一方の側縁部4Eとの間に前記連続弾性部材Fが配置されている。また、前記第2分割不織布W42において、スリットされた他方の前記中央領域4Cと他方の側縁部4Eとの間に前記連続弾性部材Fが配置されている。
すなわち、前記第1切断縁C1と前記第2切断縁C2とが前記幅方向Wにおいて互いに離間し、かつ、当該離間した前記第1および第2切断縁C1,C2の間に前記一対の側縁部4Eが配置されるように前記第1および第2分割不織布W41,W42の配置関係が変更される。前記一対の側縁部4Eは前記幅方向Wにおいて互いに離間して対向している。
なお、個々の着用物品1に切り取る前の連続した状態で連続積層体W1が2つ折りにされてもよい。すなわち、前記第1および第2分割不織布W1,W2が互いに重なるように連続積層体W1が2つ折りにされてもよい。
以下の実施例においては、前記実施例1と同様な構造および工程については説明を省略し、主として実施例1と異なる構造および工程について説明する。
本例の場合、図2Aの一対の連続不織布W4同士を互いに溶着する工程は、前記一対の側縁部4Eおよび中央領域4Cにおいて、前記2枚の連続不織布W4が連続的ではなく断続的に互いに溶着されることにより実行される。
たとえば、本製造方法によって製造される着用物品は、カフなどを有していなくてもよい。また、胴回り部材における吸収性本体とラップする部位の一部について、弾性部材の張力が無効化されてもよい。
また、第1および第2分割不織布の幅方向の配置関係の変更は第1および第2分割不織布をそれぞれ反転させて行ってもよい。
したがって、そのような変更および修正は、請求の範囲から定まる本発明の範囲内のものと解釈される。

Claims (4)
- 着用者の胴を覆い胴回り方向に延びる胴回り部材と着用者の股間を覆う吸収性本体とを備えた使い捨て着用物品の製造方法であって、
搬送方向に延びる弾性部材に接着剤を塗布する工程と、
前記搬送方向に延びる一対の側縁部を有する2枚の連続不織布の間に前記弾性部材を挟むと共に、前記弾性部材に塗布された接着剤を介して前記2枚の連続不織布が互いに重なるように前記一対の側縁部の間の中間部の一部において接着して連続体を生成する工程と、
前記連続体における前記接着剤で接着された前記中間部よりも縁寄りの前記一対の側縁部において、前記2枚の連続不織布が互いに熱溶着される工程とを備える。 - 請求項1の製造方法において、
前記搬送方向に延び、かつ、前記中間部を前記搬送方向に直交する幅方向に二分する中央領域において前記接着剤により前記2枚の連続不織布が接着されることなく、前記生成する工程が実行され、
前記一対の側縁部に加え、前記中央領域において前記2枚の連続不織布が互いに熱溶着されて、前記熱溶着される工程が実行され、
前記中央領域において前記搬送方向に延びる仮想の切断線に沿って前記連続体を第1分割不織布と第2分割不織布とに切り分けて分割する工程を更に備える。 - 請求項2の製造方法において、
前記第1分割不織布における前記切断線に沿った第1切断縁と、前記第2分割不織布における前記切断線に沿った第2切断縁との間に、前記一対の側縁部が配置されて前記一対の側縁部が互いに対向するように前記第1分割不織布と第2分割不織布との前記幅方向の配置関係を変更する工程と、
前記変更後に、前記第1および第2分割不織布を互いに概ね平行に前記搬送方向に搬送しながら前記第1および第2分割不織布に跨り、かつ、一部において重なるように前記吸収性本体が配置されて連続積層体を生成する工程とを更に備える。 - 請求項1、2もしくは3の製造方法において、
前記一対の側縁部において、前記2枚の連続不織布が断続的に互いに溶着されて、前記熱溶着される工程が実行される。
