Abstract

Es wird eine Laserbearbeitungsanlage (1) zum Bearbeiten eines Werkstücks (8) mit einem Laserstrahl (6) offenbart, bei der ein Laserschutzkonzept eingesetzt wird, dass auf der Absorption von Laserlicht in der Umgebungsatmosphäre basiert. Eine entsprechende Laserbearbeitungsanlage (1) weist entsprechend ein Lasersystem (2) zum Bereitstellen eines Laserstrahls (6) für die Wechselwirkung mit dem Werkstück (8) auf, welcher auf eine in der Umgebungsluft absorbierte Wellenlänge eingestellt ist. Ferner weist die Laserbearbeitungsanlage (1) eine Werkstücklagerungseinheit (5) zum Lagern des Werkstücks (8) auf, die zur offenen Einsichtnahme eines Benutzers in eine Prozesszone (21) aus einer Personenzugangszone (19) heraus ausgebildet ist. Der Zwischenraum (17) zwischen der Prozesszone und der Personenzugangszone wird somit von Umgebungsluft ausgefüllt. Ferner kann die Laserbearbeitungsanlage einen Feuchtesensor (31) aufweisen, der eine für die benötigte Absorption erforderliche Luftfeuchtigkeit überwacht.
